Just picked up this guitar (same color too) last week to start my electric guitar journey. I've been so happy with it so far. The people I've talked to have been impressed with what it offers for that price point. I didn't want to break the bank as a beginner but I did some research and landed on this one. Good looking strat alternative and you seem to get a lot for the money. The big brands are going to have to work hard to compete with some of the budget offerings available these days! And great playing, as always!

The solo in the beginning is so tasteful！I absolutely loved it！
I have tried a Lefty in the same color at guitar center and it has close to 4 mm of action in the 12th fret but I've been impressed with the neck and pickups...the 25 inch scale make a difference an it's easier to play. Rolling the volume back is quite responsive as an old les paul and it cleans up nicely even with a very distorted sound.

The Azes31/40, Sire S/T3 and Squier cv's all are a great and affordable platform imho.
The only downside to this guitar is that it comes stock with a cheap plastic nut. Even Squier is making bone nuts standard in most of their guitars and Yamaha is making GraphTech nuts standard on most of their Pacifica models for good tuning stability. This is especially important for tremelo equipped guitars and the fact that they are only about a $5.00 item, there’s NO EXCUSE for Ibanez to not put them on a guitar they’re branding as “essentials”. Because there’s nothing more essential than tuning stability. I know many players would be more than willing to pay 5 bucks more for the overall price of this guitar to have better tuning stability with the tremelo.
If it's $5 you can change it after
@@maJastoL Yes, but not everyone has the skill or wants to risk tearing up the the nut end of the guitar they just bought. Most people would rather pay the 5 extra bucks up front to have it installed from the factory. Don’t pretend like you aren’t aware of this.

Awesome. I guess this superstar more comfortable than hss fat fender strat. Maybe i'm wrong cause don't play this)) but i have fender strat, and volume tone isn't suitable for palm mute style(because outdated design guitar), and back of guitar square spot - sucks too
Hace un mes la compré color negro, super, pero soy principiante. Me gustaría tocar así, a mis 50 no crreo q lo consiga, pero lo disfruto.
The colour selection for this one wasn't really thought out, the options are: Red, Black, puke green, or Disneys "go away green"!

I would wonder if you play it clean would it match in a way with a am perforner or a am special or with a Mim classic. 70 s or a Squier or is that sound totally different ( seen some of your start vdos amongst others, you've got that experience)🤔

How does it compare to the 50s CV Squire??
They fall sort of in between the CV and contemporary series, price wise. But they are pretty close in terms of quality to the CV line
