I live in western NY, and about 20 miles from me, in Medina, NY, we have a large Amish/ Mennonite community. I go to the Amish market and they are very nice and have great grocery items and baked goods. They are known for their woodworking and sell sheds, Adirondack chairs, bird houses, etc. We don’t have any Amish owned Goodwills though. Very cool to finally know the history of this Goodwill. I have watched you thrift there so many times!
Just visited this store today. This super nice lady, shown in this video, gave me this information as well. She's a great ambassador for this area. She's a sweet woman and the shopping experience was great as well. I am from the deep south, in Georgia, and I googled Goodwill New Holland. As I was driving out to this place, I was more and more doubtful there was actually a store in the middle of cornfields, but low and behold....there it was, in all of its (very unique and different) glory. I got some great Tshirts for my sons, I found a 100 % merano wool Irish sweater for me, and I love it. It made my day to visit this place. After I purchased my items, I visited with this kind neighbor lady and bought a succulent as a souvenir. 😁. Happy to find this video.
I live in Scranton, Pa but my grandparents are from Lancaster. Gonna have to check this out the next time I’m down there cause I love thrifting. Crazy to see how clean and organized in there versus the ones near me. On a different note, I used to go to the Crossroads Auction/Farmers Market in Gratz, Pa with my grandparents on the other side. I visited a few weeks ago and had the best fried chicken of my life from one of the Amish stands. Definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in the area on a Friday!
I found myself here a few months ago. I was with my baby in a shopping cart so I had to use the old elevator…scary! But very cool. Love your videos and I imagine it’s only a matter of time before I run into you at a Goodwill 😄
I was just out that way a few days ago we are out that way frequently thst is area is where all our flowers and plants come from towns edge greenhouse isn’t far from that goodwill Next time your out that way go to Dutch country pretzels and Martin’s custom butcher in new holland highly suggest the beef sticks and ring bologna 😊
We used to day-trip to this little town called Strasburg and in it was a sort of returns/Ollie's/junk/antique store that was on two levels. Same principle, maybe the same cats lol! But yeah, they cleaned it up eventually and they even sold prepackaged food!
Something's Amish. They put the Goods in Goodwill. Literally. My Goodwill is bizarre because it is next to a pot dispensary shop and smell likes marij thru the sewer grate in from of the store.
Corey Bell: Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who live sad meaningless lives. They need to leave negative comments on UA-cam videos to try and feel important. Thankfully people like you and I can enjoy life and all it brings. We can find history and adventure exciting and entertaining.
Seriously if you don’t like it don’t watch it just because it doesn’t amuse you doesn’t give you the right to be rude not everybody is the same respect other people opinions. I enjoy the video. enjoy the video.

We have Amish country here in southwestern part of Wisconsin ❤
