In regard to younger guys. Honestly, there's nothing left to ruin. A significant portion of young men (30% I believe) are having no luck whatsoever in dating or hook-ups. For those lads, it's a choice between becoming a monk and looking elsewhere.
It's more then 30% if your looking at gen z I know plenty of younger guys who are successful & still can't pull its honestly sad but hey go where your appreciated.
Basically everything right, Daz. For older men like me at 63 there is definitely the chance to date much younger and very beautiful women in Pattaya. 2 weeks ago I met women for LT at 24 yo. and for ST at 21 yo. and I only paid local rates. What I regret is that I discovered Pattaya way too late. If I had been there for the first time 35 years ago, I would have been spared a lot of stress and a number of pointless and expensive relationships in the West. Pattaya opened my eyes to the truth about the relationship between man and woman.
I barfined my Thai wife from a go go, she is 20 years younger. It was 25 years ago and we are still together best woman I ever had in my life. We live in the states but go back every year.
While the fantasy of being married to a loyal, loving 19-year-old is great, I know that isn’t realistic. As a 50 year-old, I have no problem accepting the fact I’ll have to marry someone about 35. The fact she’ll be Asian and most likely look younger than her age certainly works in my favor. Also, being in Thailand, you can still sneak off and get short time action with the 19 year-olds whenever that mood strikes you. Really the best of both worlds.
I'm 37. Was in Pattaya last week for a holiday from Aussie. Had the best time of my life. Wont go into detail but the girls are something else. I was with one girl LT 4 nights of the 7 nights I was there (Found via TF). She is 39 but looks 28. Never been treated so well in my life. Like Daz says, don't fall in love!! Cause I cant stop bloody thinking of her. Already planning on next trip for next year. Cant wait to go back. Also to answer Daz's question, don't go before you are 30 or financial stable. The place is designed to squeeze you of all your hard earned cash.
I am 45 and will be retiring this November!!!!!! Sweet. I have been going to the gym and am in decent shape. I will be in Thailand for a month in December. Don’t know if I will go to Pattaya though.
The west is dead Daz …. Once the young lads get a taste of Pattaya there is no going back after that ….. they already see how doomed relationships / marriages are in the west so when they hit Pattaya for the first time it’s game over imo …… keep me the great context Daz always a pleasure 👍
After my ex cheated and got away with the house I spend 3 years rebuilding myself. I tried dating various girls only to be dissapointed. I rather just stay alone and go to thailand 6 weeks a year. I'm financially stable enough to enjoy myself here.
Off topic - Today, on my very first trip to Pattaya, second day, I went to the Heaven Above and I got blessed with luck. Greg's birthday party, super-crowded, amazing time with a model who got body-painted and came to dance with two other models right in front of me. Did I mention that I got one of the seats in the middle, right in front of the main stage table? What can I say? It seems that the universe was working for me tonight. Soooo much fun! This place is really amazing! And thank you Daz, really! Your videos and the suggestions about Thai culture have been so helpful to me, as I'm sure to many others here on this channel. Especially about the right things to do here. Keep up the good work, mate!
I was too busy doing the marriage and family thing as a younger man which as we all know eventually disintegrates into emptiness in many cases. 70 years now, pretty fit and functional, I have the money to enjoy Pattaya today that I wouldn't have had before I finished working. We can't have it all in life and while maybe I wish I had made the jump sooner I am happy to know that 'fun' is ahead for me rather than behind|!
Discovered Pattaya at 21 mate , 39 now. Have had plenty of relationships but never married and no kids. Moving to south east asia (probably philippines) from Scotland in near future. Plan to do trips from there to patts and back. Make money from online poker and live poker in manila vs the Chinese very profitable. But yes yellow fever changed my view on western woman from a young age. Got a few beautiful pinays lined up but also love thai girls! Great channel keep up the good work mate!
Without a doubt, the best way to circumvent the "old guy-young girl" challenge is to stay fit, dress well, and look good. Chances improve (why? you don't look like a tubby old man with a young girl)....also, you'll live longer and enjoy "good times" more.
I have been to Thailand about 15 times. Having viewed ThaiFriendly profiles prior to my upcoming trip to Pattaya; the women in their 30’s and 40’s prefer older guys. Makes sense! Girls in their 20’s go to nightclubs; guys in their 50s to 60s go to beer bars. Being in my 50s; I prefer more mature women; not party girls.
I was 22 first time in Pattaya and found several mature women who wanted to hook up with a younger man never did since I had a girlfriend at the time. But for young man looking to scratch the milf itch it's not a terrible place to go.
@@ExtraGuac007 The more i watch these videos of Thailand the more i realize these woman are skanky af and god only knows how many men they have been with. if i had millions i wouldn't be there!
Wow 🤩. Your question at the end of the video blew my mind 🤯. If I’d found Thailand in my 20’s or 30’s, my life would be entirely different today. I would not have kids and most likely not be living here in the USA, dreaming about living in Thailand.
I agree with a lot of what you said. At 38 years old I think now is the best time for me to enjoy Thailand. I've been traveling to Pattaya since 2018 but now I think I'm ready for more of a long term or permanent stay there. I'm a good looking guy and in great shape and have done pretty well in the dating scene here in the US. But just like many other men in my position, I'm done with the bad attitude and entitlement of American women and their ever increasing unrealistic standards for men. It's a lot of work for a decreasing ROI. I know what I can get out there in Thailand and other SE Asian countries, so I'll be making a more permanent move next month. Thankfully I've worked hard, saved and invested in order to set myself up financially to make such a move. I'm sure it will be worth it.
Hey daz , a very thoughtful video buddy, it’s a great topic to discuss ,I first came when I was 35 , bowled over by pattaya ,met a girl in the old bar area near the pinewood hotel on 2 road , I had a relationship for about eight years with her , it was very complicated, happily it didn’t cost to many baht , unfortunately it’s finished now , she was 29, so similar to me , now I am older , I have a relationship with a 40 year old lady who is very ambitious to open a business , but I am now very cautious , thanks my friend for your advice 🙏🙏
I am now 66 and first visited Pattaya in the 80's in my mid 20's. Thailand opened my eyes and changed my perspective on "involvements" with women back in the west forever. I never married and to this day have Pattaya to thank for it. All young men should visit long before they decide on marriage back home and visit Thailand before it's too late! I keep my holidaying and adventures to myself. Very few people understand why we visit this awesome place. Keep up the good work with your channel. The information and advice you offer is top notch and second to none. Love your work here on this channel! I am back again in October for my 3rd visit this year!
I don' think it will spoil anybody, i think i will just open their minds and see how it works. If in the west things don't run good, they at least know there is an alternative. If I knew 30 years ago what I know now, i'd never got married then... you always need to make your own thoughts and experiences. And there is nothing wrong coming to Pattaya and see how life is here , or can be ...
I was stationed in Korea in my mid 20's. I think if I knew of Pattaya back then (1991) I would have never left! 😂😂😂🤦🏼♂️ I'm in Pattaya now, finally made it! Got to admit this place is fun! 😁
I first visited Thailand as a 21 year old just out of his first long term relationship. First night in the bars of Bangkok was an eye opener to say the least! Ended up very drunk, down a lot of baht, and with a gang of four or five gorgeous bar girls in a small apartment they shared. Incredible night… That visit didn’t really change my idea of relationships or expectations of western women, just showed me something better. It certainly changed my life by showing me paradise was real, and remarkably affordable.
Great video, I first came to Pattaya at 25 years old with much older men from my golf club and I’ve never been able to have a western relationship, October will be my 28th trip all 3 to 4 weeks long lol
Pattaya, as far as I know, first became a night life center during the Vietnam War, as it was a place that American servicemen both stationed in bases in Thailand and Americans serving in Vietnam on R & R would go there. It certainly was not on the scale that it is now, but there already was an ex-pat population there, too. I know, because I was there in late 1972 and also 1973. It also was a port of call for the US Navy. So there were plenty of young guys still just eighteen or nineteen getting bar girl exposure there. Indeed, a 22-year-old would be considered an old hand, or at least an older one. I was not in the service, but I was 28 and in a job that had me visiting military bases around Thailand, and believe me, they all had loads of bars and bar girls surrounding the bases. And Bangkok itself was a major R & R center, with a lot of cheap new hotels built to accommodate young servicemen. The big nightlife center then, now 50 years ago, was Patpong Road. Thermae was very popular, too, especially after the bars closed for the night and bar girls descended on it. There may well have been other bar areas serving that trade, but I am not aware of them, as I was only there periodically. There was a large presence of Australians, too, as they served in fairly large numbers in Vietnam, too. Soi Cowboy started up after the war, when a large number of American Vietnam vets moved to Thailand. It got its name from one of the ex-pat American vets who called himself "Cowboy", a very amiable Black guy. Were the patrons and originators of Soi Cowboy irretrievably corrupted by the easy, cheap bar girls of the Far East? Beats me.
My first visit to Thailand was 50+ years ago as a lad of 21, I was up in Isan and the story is the same even in a little town on the river. I had stumbled into heaven was having the time of my life. I just met one I knew I wanted to spend my life with when I got shipped out and sent to England. That was the only thing that saved me from falling into the trap. Absolutely loved my time there and am considering returning there now but afraid I may have waited to long to return.
Young or old as long as you have money. I would say reasons you see more young guys. 1 Information is easier because of internet. 2. Travel is easier more flights and you don’t have to go to travel agent 3. Younger guys are a little more affluent especially western guys because families are having only one or two children instead of four to six.
Great video Daz! I think if I would have come to Pattaya in my 20s with the nightlife there, it would have ruined my standards for nightlife anywhere else and I would be desperate to get back to Patts at every opportunity. Now that I'm in my mid50s, nightclubs and gogos don't really appeal to me nor do 20-something party girls. Luckily Pattaya has something for all ages.
I'm 26 now and plan on going to Thailand for my 27th birthday, I recently saved near 100K and plan on just leaving at this point. I was stuck for years that I need to be constantly working and not traveling and I should wait until I got older now because the early 20s was the time to go, but I stopped last year and started focusing on my goals, which is how I made over 100K in one year. I will no longer miss out on these experiences. I don't want to regret it anymore.
@@sebontuse4338 It depends since he didn't precise 100k in what currency. If it's in $, £, € , it could take him 3 years or more. Definitely more than three weeks. I think you assume the currency was baht 😂
First came here for my 16th birthday with my folks. Now 'retired' here @48 and couldn't be happier. I feel it's the perfect age too. Much earlier and I wouldn't have survived 😂
I'm almost 60 Y.O and Daz was saying half my age + 7 years? that's 37 years old lady. No way, That's why I'm in The Philippines with a 24 years old girlfriend. These are a lot cheaper if you're going to retire and live a decent life. Thailand average people makes almost double (7000 USD per year) than The Philippines average income (3700 USD per year). That's why it's cheaper to find a younger GF here in P.I and it doesn't cost so much as in Thailand.
I was in the military at 19 years old when they sent me to see oriental working girls for a whole year. We were urged never to pay more than 10 US dollars. I had more SX in that year than I did in my 30 years of marriage. I do miss it, some day I'd like to go to Thailand and live the dream again. Did it mess me up? I'd have to say yes it did. Every day I wish I had those cheap girls around again, I had the time of my life. If I ever find myself alone again for sure I'm getting that retirement visa. Its like having the best steak you ever had every day for a whole year, then trying to live on beans and rice for the next 30 years. 😂
I'll be 64 in November but I also visit Hua Hin, Bangkok, and my favorite- Jomtien. I'll be moving there. Very few ppl in Pattaya guess I'm 63 (most think 42). But once I move to Thailand, Pattaya will only be f/ visits. I don't drink, so bars aren't an issue. Fun town though
a great analogy/comparison to the '80's Daz. I actually think it is a good thing that young men are going to Patt to see there are other options besides the ladies they meet in the west. certainly women always have chosen the best men they can find, no reason men shouldn't do the same. go where you are wanted, appreciated and respected.
As you say, it all comes down to money. If you're aged, can you afford health and personal care? If you're young can you afford the lifestyle? Running away from the west is absolutly understandable, it's dying. But, if the west is the source of your money, then so too is the hope of escaping and being able to stay in Thailand. We're at a point in time where a lot of dreams will be dashed.
For guys over 50, who are single, Thailand seems to be a good option. Based everything I have seen online; a single retired guy can live pretty good on $2,000 per month. That amount of money is not enough to even get by in many parts of the United States. You may want to leave options open to return to the US in later years for medical reasons and to use Medicare. I would have an exit strategy and money put aside to return to the US. I think the biggest issue would be men of all ages trying to move to Thailand without sufficient money. Besides a steady income of $2,500 per month, ($500) for savings. A man from the US really needs from $50,000 to $100,000 in the bank. Mostly to be able to exit Thailand and reestablish himself back in the US if needed. Broke men with very limited resources should not even consider this move.
Very entertaining and interesting Content as always Mate..! In my opinion Pattaya is such a Addictive Place..! Like you mentioned DAZ is the Simplicity of daily life plus the fact that you will never feel alone. Whatever is your age range there’s plenty options available for your pleasure . Personally I’m just love ❤️ Pattaya because when you out there it feels like you’re in a bubble and all your problems and worries gone away. I will definitely consider myself Pattaya as a Retired destination in the near future. Thanks again DAZ for your Vlogs and always keep safe Mate.
Great video Daz and a very interesting topic My opinion is no younger guys shouldn’t come to Pattaya ,they’re just not ready and don’t have the life experience to handle it . Pattaya changes people young and old and definitely not always for the better . Not to mention the abundance of master manipulators around only a seasoned man knows how to handle. It just doesn’t end well from what I’ve observed.
Hey Daz. I have a friend who visited Pattaya in his twenties and is now 48 and has been married for 18 years. Throughout his life, the call of Pattaya has been a constant obsession in his mind. He feels miserable with his wife and plans on retiring there when his youngest daughter grows up. The point you bring up about young people and Pattaya is interesting. I imagine many young guys will experience this after visiting.
I think that the best age to move to Thailand is the age when you have financial security. When you can afford a sustainable and enjoyable life in Thailand. I don't think that its too difficult to find whatever age group that you prefer in women. Especially if you prefer short term relationships.
What a great video, thank you. If i had come to Pattaya in my 20s i would be dead by now because i would have lost touch with reality much like the 20 year old girls that go to work in Pattaya from Issan ( Im in my 70s and i am living in Thailand now for 4 years) so much of what you said in your video is true) I tell people so many times thst Pattaya is not Thailand.
We are living in the age of remote work & thats going to grow. Young men are going to be the majority out there in the coming years honestly brother. It’s definitely a growing trend. At the moment we’re in a lull of that trend because the economy put the ball back in the employers court. But, that trend will come back. Companies will compete on how much geographical freedom they give.
I didn't discover Thailand and the Philippines until ii was 30. If i were to have been exposed to them at the age of say 20-22 I would have known what was possible for my future and I would have started saving and planning on quitting the RAT RACE a lot sooner. When i discovered SEA at 30 I immediately started maxing savings and retirement accounts and investments and stopped wasting money on silly things as I want to be fully retired by 50 living in SEA for the remaining 40'ish years after.
What a smart talk, Daz. Ah, the power of expectations and how environment influences said expectations. Methinks that so long as the hypothetical 22 year-old doesn't get roped into a trip to the village, the young man would living a heck of a good time.
I was 25 when I first came to Pattaya in 1996 and it changed me. Going forward I married a Thai girl in 2002 we still together now with 2 grownup kids. I'm coming back to pattaya next week at the age of 52 and I'll be looking for a 20ish year old if I can get one.
Pattaya back in my youth (mid-1980s when I was mid-20s) was nearly all fairly young people, mainly expats from within Asia and visitors from northern Europe. The girls were also all young, not fat, fun to be around and not expensive to maintain. It was a fun, relaxing place to be; it's just highly commercialized now; still fun but not quite the same.
I first visited Pattaya in 1998 when I was 25 and had the time of my life, coming back in April for songkran, it’s my first visit back and I can’t wait, watching your videos it’s amazing how much Pattaya has changed, I’m sure it wasn’t as big back then
You do understand that in Songkran many girls go home to Isaan and also many girls don't work because of the water being thrown day AND Night these days. Many guys consider Songkran to be the worst week in the year. Just to put you in the picture.
I think I would be dead if I went to Pattaya in my 20s but I went to Costa rica instead and I nearly died. Im happy to say Im in my mid 30s now and I have alot of experience in the Eastern bloc and Im very happy to say I never went down that same dark path when I was in my 20s.
Definitely watching made me rethink going back to Thailand!..I am 62 and prefer younger women for fun. But if they lose face being seen with me it may be time to halt my visits.
im 33 an i came a year ago, loved it, coming back this year, i work long hours as a chef have no time for a family, beaning a chef. a vacation every year here to enjoy those male needs has been good for me. but the little voice in my head always has to remind me, its a business. and they are giving me the girlfriend experience. good enough for me.
Great video. Lots of informative and wise information as always.Much appreciate . On my way back to Pattaya for couple of weeks from Europe then return to set up retirement visa next low season .
I was 27 when I first came to Pattaya in 1987, wasn't corrupt ed as never popular with the girls back home. Now 63 can still have ST with a pretty 20 year old bar girl on Pothole and Soi 6. Last Lt was 30 years old very nice. No Go Go Bars last time, maybe as a special treat next time once during holiday. Gents clubs are good, had my first experience there last trip, following your advice.
Been comeing to pattaya sins 2004 september, so next year will be 20 years. About 3 to 4 times pr year. And still haveing a blast everytime. It ditten screw up my head in any way. It only made my life that much more fun, and gave me a "Goal" to save up money for the next trip at a young age :)
I first visited Pattaya when I was 55, to be honest I felt overwhelmed with the whole scene, I’ve been back a couple more times and can confirm that I don’t want to be there for any great length of time, now I use it as a starting point for any travels I have planned, now 62 years young and finding company isn’t difficult though I never take the girls travelling with me.
Came to Thailand for the first time in 2002 , when I was 35 and have never really gone any where else , besides a week for a golf trip to Portugal, for the first few years I would come twice a year 😂now only once a year usually for 25 to 29 days , booked for high season for 28 days this year 😃👍
The small bar you pass on Lengkee with the blue lights (Hug Me Guesthouse) has some friendly girls and beers priced at 60 baht all night. Not very well known. Hunger Pangs is next door if you fancy a bite.
Hi Daz You mentioned Koreans overpaying in some A-go-gos. Can you please make a video about the different A-go-gos in terms of expectations and where to go and where not to go. It could be very useful and Time and Money Saving. Thanks 👍
I always love your channel because it's reasonable. Just the question "Am I too old" I think for many isn't what they are really asking? What they are really asking is, "Do the laws of physics change in Thailand so I'll be able to drink all day and womanize?" The answer is no and you already know it. Drinking is bad for your health, you already know you "can" do it, but it's going to hurt. Thailand offers lifestyles for every age, including gentle, healthy pampering for delicate ages
I only wish I had discovered Pattaya when I was 22. My life would have been so much better without bothering to have to chase a girls in America that didn’t look half as good as most Thai girls. Wish I could go back in time for sure.
Will Pattaya ruin a young Guy? I'm 28 and I have been coming to Pattaya for a couple of years now. I can say it changes your look on western women for sure. And they are a big ''No thank you" for me. In a relationship now since 2 years with a Thai girl who spend most of her life in Europe and that's is working out great for me so far. Can't advise on bringing a Thai girl over to the west yourself. Still going back to Pattaya next month though😅
This was one of your most informative videos. I much prefer this solo format than when you bring in an "expert" who is not really an expert. I am moving back to Pattaya. The one big issue, of course, is health insurance as mentioned. However, that can be taken care of and the higher cost is more than compensated by the lower costs elsewhere. If I decide that I want a "steady" girlfriend (which is what the Thai girls want), your 1/2 plus 7 formula works; however, if I focus on ST, it is entirely a private monetary transaction and the girls don't seem to care so long as they get their fee and I perform. That last point is really important! The girls will get upset if I don't perform. But, there is a partial solution (not 100%) and that is, if you are older (like me) only choose girls that really turn you on so that there is stimulation. Don't get bored; which easily happens. The younger girls are not as experienced as the older girls. So, a combination of good looks and really good experienced performance is worthwhile. And where? Gents Clubs generally and well selected beer bars / restaurants. Oh yes; you have to try Kink and Windmill at least once. But, the girls are so young, inexperienced and self conscious about being with a man as old as their grandfathers. Be smart and you (I) will have a great time.
Hi Daz, Thanks for this informative video. Your video always makes me think. I remember I was in London when I was 22. I had a great time with English and Dutch and German girls. I never thought of going to Asia. Now after watching your video I think yes, if I was in Pattaya in that age I probably never touch any women because I was thinking about love and long term relationship. I never thought to pay money for short or long term. Pattaya would have messed up my mind.
I discovered Pattaya at 37. Arguably, I probably had the mind of a 22 year old at that point still! haha. I actually don't think age is too important when you talk about Pattaya's effect on your general outlook. For me, it didn't change my view of myself. But it did change my view of women, and more particularly what I wanted from a wife (if I were to ever get married). Although the women I met in Pattaya were there for money, I still felt a closeness and kindness that I haven't experienced back home. My next few dates , post-Pattaya, in my home country confirmed that. So, even in my late 30s, I was converted to a SEA retirement, and I'm willing to hold off until that time to find a partner, because I sure as hell don't want a partner from my home country. Unless I find the unicorn (aka non-materialistic western woman).
Yes great advice and information again Daz. I first went to Pattaya when I was 25 and have continued to go there for the last 40 years. Also my budget is simple, beers, bars, great food and no LT or ST as my Thai Mrs would probably surgically remove something from me 🙂
I first came in 2011 as a 30 year old and it did change my life. I’ve been each year since except the covid years. I’m attracted to all nationalities and have had experiences with many during the years here in Pattaya, not just Thais. Walking St gogos is a shitshow now, last march I was asked where I came from before entering one…. not sure why ?? It was first time ever I have been asked this question.
Love the talks... Never been to Thailand, but planning to come to SE Asia in general from December to March... Several Countries, for both Profit and Pleasure... Your question reminded me of when I first started traveling to Brazil... similar kind of vibe, but Latin, not Asian. At that time I was in my 40's, newly divorced and Brazil (and Colombia) was perfect for the restoration in a Man all what divorce (and a disagreeable woman) had destroyed. To continue, if I had discovered Brazil or Thailand in my 20's or even my early 30's as a Estrangeiro or a Farang, the addiction to Flattery and to Pleasure would be too great and this would have stunted the important development of the other virtues of youth besides beauty and virility that every successful Man must have, such as: Hard Work, Patience, Frugality, Ingenuity, Far Slightness and Wisdom, amongst many. In my opinion, these virtues must be learned early in a Man's life without the distractions of pleasure (as presented in both Latin America and SE Asia) are better experienced later in life. For the youth in their 20's and early 30's experiencing the reality that in general people can be had for a price, degenerates one's sense of values toward people in general and women in particular... especially one's expectations for relationship with women. Now, I've enjoyed my 40's and my 50's because I was cleareyed about what I was purchasing and what experience I was living.
Pattaya does corrupt. I discovered it at 23 ish(BKK to start). The thing that I got back home was communication with the partner on a deeper level. But Pattaya just doesnt leave you, ever.
Went to Thailand for the first time when is was 21 (to Koh Samui) and to Pattaya when i was 27. It did corrupt me a little but in a good way in my opinion. Because i realised how bad of a deal western women are. Next year want to check out the Phillipines to see what they got there.
Good advice about insurance. I am 67 now but I initially bought my Thai insurance at 62. I have a 10 million baht policy with a 40,000 baht deductible. That keeps the price down. I would say I have a combination of self insurance and catastrophic insurance. It is pretty reasonable by US standards. Anyone from a country with national health care may have a different view.
Never went to Pattaya but have been going to BKK since i was 21 and yes it definitely affected my ability to form long relationships. Lots of pat for play. All that attention but also some hazing i.e bad experiences with money the next morning, fights as well as falling for bar girls. On the otherhand im 30 now and ill be heading to Pattaya this September a well seasoned vet hahaha
I’m glad I didn’t go here, I would have lost my control and would have wrecked my life forever. I love the vibe thou the feeling you said back in the 80’s. I’m divorced 67 and I don’t recognize the USA now, it’s not the place for me to stay full time and retire. I’ll travel to south east Asia and visit many countries and mingle with everyone and fine a suitable location and lifestyle that will keep me young but sane at the same time. Great video I learned a lot from it.
I doubt I can think of anything Daz hasn't covered some time or other Anyway, I first came in 1986 aged 23 when I was slim, and good looking with a lovely g/f in the UK, and I was only there because I worked for British Airways, and at that time Bangkok was an easy route to get to. I didn't know it was full of 'working girls' and American sailors from offshore large aircraft carriers. I was terrified. I had no need of what the town was famous for. I hated it. I next came back in 2009 aged 46. By this time I was less attractive, and far more in need of some tlc. That was when I enjoyed the town the most. Since then I have been back a number of times. I have just turned 60. My last visit was this January aged 59. The time before that was January 2020, when I was 56. I would say my best visits for my own personal reasons were between age 46 and 56. I think you could could still have a better time age 60 or more... (and I am quite fit) than I might be in Europe.... but it is clear, as Daz points out, that now the girls are less interested in older men than even 10 years ago. For multiple reasons. We can pick over the details. Pattaya gives a lifestyle most red blooded males would find hard to better anywhere else. On a more boring note, yes as you proceed beyond 60, the main issue can be healthcare.
I went over several times in my early 20s i got hitched at 27 and have been married for 16 years. I think it really helped me stay on the straight and narrow as i had been with a lot of woman before i settled down.
I was 28 when I first visited Pattaya and that was 12 years ago. I could not believe my eyes with my new found discovery 😅 It has been a very enjoyable experience ever since. There weren’t as many people my age and I got called a cheeky sod by the old guys out there. It all started changing around 5 years ago and I started seeing a lot more younger guys. I think because the explosion of UA-cam videos about Thailand, you will see more and more younger guys coming… I’m getting on now, well, 40. And I look at the 20 somethings like they are cheeky sods… what comes around goes around
Did I just OD on this channel? I don't think so, but after serial watching a year's worth of shows (and upvoted them all!) I had a dream that I was in a foreign land and was sort of lost. I was with a friend, but he left. I needed to find my car but couldn't. I reached for my phone and it was there. So I didn't panic. But I kept endlessly walking through buildings, corridors, up and down stairways, courtyards, and couldn't find my out of the building. Finally I spotted an opening to a street, which of course looked like one of the many crowded, Higgledy-piggledy streets of Pattaya. lol. So thankful that Daz more gives us an orientation to start each video. If it wasn't for that I might still be lost in my dream!
I am certainly too old (73 later this month) for dallying with bargirls; been there done that and have no desire to get back in the game. But I'm not at all too old for taking in the buzz in the streets in Patters. It's a lively vibe indeed, quite manic late at night. But well, one is unwise to weave these wild streets alone after laying on a drunk. Stay reasonably sober is my advice, or at least, have someone reliable who is reasonably sober to watch your back. As for your question about whether PTY would screw up the mind of a young male visitor, well, it depends totally upon the person. I've got my doubts that it would in most cases. I remember being shown around Pigale and the brothels of Barbés (near Montmartre) in Paris at the age of 22. That was back in 1972. It didn't have any effect on my 'education sentimentale' at all. Having said this, I did end up in Thai's three Pats (Pattaya, Patpong and Ao Patong) several decades later. So maybe it did.
Yes, don’t blame those guys who struggle in the west that decide to try their luck elsewhere. Why wouldn’t they?
@@lonersocietyxxx2371even if I was a “chad” and could easily pull women in the west, I would still prefer pattaya. Way less drama and less stress.
I am 78 and just got back from pattaya, with my 21 year old grandson! We both had a great time!
First time I went to Thailand I was 24 and that was in 1984 and have been going there ever since. There is no to old or to young just enjoy your self
But you would have got sick of it by now, maybe.
@@1990-t1j Who knows? Or perhaps broke...
How hiring service providers for LT and ST did open your eyes to the truth of a normal relationship between a man and woman?
Hiring service providers doesn't equate to dating them 😊
Interesting point of view.
I met my Thai wife when I was 43 and she was 18. We got married 5 years later. We just celebrated out 25th anniversary.
I barfined my Thai wife from a go go, she is 20 years younger. It was 25 years ago and we are still together best woman I ever had in my life. We live in the states but go back every year.
Yes, it changed my life, i went to pattaya 3 times at the age of 20 and 21 in 1985 and can never erase it from my mind,
While the fantasy of being married to a loyal, loving 19-year-old is great, I know that isn’t realistic.
True first time in Pattaya last year I’m already booked up for this November
Took the words right out of my mouth.
If you are fit and healthy , have the right mindset & discipline with regards money and temptations, it don’t matter too much 😊
My favorite Pattaya vlogger delivers once again! Thanks buddy 👍
So nice of you
I was too busy doing the marriage and family thing as a younger man which as we all know eventually disintegrates into emptiness in many cases. 70 years now, pretty fit and functional, I have the money to enjoy Pattaya today that I wouldn't have had before I finished working. We can't have it all in life and while maybe I wish I had made the jump sooner I am happy to know that 'fun' is ahead for me rather than behind|!
Are you thinking of living there full time
Not sure yet. Will have 3 months from next Jan 12 and see how it goes.@@joelkipling2587

& some of us go to fitness/gyms places ...........................
I don't get it. Why do Millionaires fly over 8K miles to date Leftover Women?
I was 22 first time in Pattaya and found several mature women who wanted to hook up with a younger man never did since I had a girlfriend at the time.
But for young man looking to scratch the milf itch it's not a terrible place to go.

😂
Thank you very much for your input
I don' think it will spoil anybody, i think i will just open their minds and see how it works. If in the west things don't run good, they at least know there is an alternative. If I knew 30 years ago what I know now, i'd never got married then... you always need to make your own thoughts and experiences. And there is nothing wrong coming to Pattaya and see how life is here , or can be ...
I was stationed in Korea in my mid 20's. I think if I knew of Pattaya back then (1991) I would have never left! 😂😂😂🤦🏼♂️
I'm in Pattaya now, finally made it! Got to admit this place is fun! 😁
My Dear mum who I lost recently had dementia her carehome cost's were £6000 a month, Sound's unbelievable but that was the price in the UK.

I first visited Thailand as a 21 year old just out of his first long term relationship. First night in the bars of Bangkok was an eye opener to say the least! Ended up very drunk, down a lot of baht, and with a gang of four or five gorgeous bar girls in a small apartment they shared. Incredible night…
That visit didn’t really change my idea of relationships or expectations of western women, just showed me something better.
Beats me.
Interesting post.

Go on and do it Phillip, enjoy your life my friend.
You ain't old.
It's not too late! I am 78 and just returned from pattaya with my 21 year old grandson. Best time of my life!
Young or old as long as you have money. I would say reasons you see more young guys. 1 Information is easier because of internet. 2. Travel is easier more flights and you don’t have to go to travel agent 3. Younger guys are a little more affluent especially western guys because families are having only one or two children instead of four to six.
Most younger guys (the smart ones) aren’t getting married or having kids. Freedom trumps everything …
Spot on mate.

Why do you think I moved to Pattaya 14 years ago LOL
I am 48 as per documents , but ...but I am stuck at 20-21.... mentally doing same naughty things... coming to Pattaya on 21 till 31 August 2023.
$2K a month in Thailand is more than enough
Love Thai pharmacist, easy (& legal) access to gym supplements, many great gyms in Pattaya ................
Rest assured men over 60, everything is soluble in money, even age...

When you can afford a sustainable and enjoyable life in Thailand.
I don't think that its too difficult to find whatever age group that you prefer in women.

Can you please make a video about the different A-go-gos in terms of expectations and where to go and where not to go.
It could be very useful and Time and Money Saving.

Hi Daz,
Thanks for this informative video.
Thanks for your input
Good luck finding a non-materialistic Thai woman as a foreign man 😅

I did. What did I miss?
But Pattaya just doesnt leave you, ever.
in Chiang Mai we have places with beautiful Uni girls if you are 70+. CM is a college town. with 4 universities. forget Pattaya
What places? I have no interest in dance clubs and karaoke bars.
Your best video so far. Liked your age comparables
Wow, thanks!
I went to Thailand at 44. Loved it
I’m glad I didn’t go here, I would have lost my control and would have wrecked my life forever.
Hola Daz! Gracias for the video and for the great story .555
Great information. Thank you!
I first visited pattaya in 2006, I was 26 year old, many younger lads have always visited.
wow you are spot on in every detail
I was 28 when I first visited Pattaya and that was 12 years ago. I could not believe my eyes with my new found discovery 😅 It has been a very enjoyable experience ever since. There weren’t as many people my age and I got called a cheeky sod by the old guys out there. It all started changing around 5 years ago and I started seeing a lot more younger guys. I think because the explosion of UA-cam videos about Thailand, you will see more and more younger guys coming… I’m getting on now, well, 40. And I look at the 20 somethings like they are cheeky sods… what comes around goes around
Mobile phones have ruined people, makes them look very ignorant nowadays! We had the best times in our day for sure!
Ha Ha enjoy
