Mechs vs. Minions 👍👍, so rare to see this game on peoples lists. This game has some of the absolute best components I've seen, the campaign is fantastic and humor thrown into the mix. I can't recommend this game enough!!
Another great video! So happy that Gloomhaven: JOTL is here because my brother and I play it and have a lot of fun. Have you guys played Project: Elite? I don't have it but I've been watching many gameplay vids and I think it could also been fun as a co-op game!
I’m watching this a year after it was posted and just wanted to say I love the energy and passion in this video. The content is great but your love of the content made this video for me :)
Totally agree with Pandemic Legacy. I had my best cooperative gaming experience. Actually playing Season 0 and started a new round Season 1 with a new group. Same for Mechs vs Minions. I play actually Gloomhaven JotL solo.
Not a mean intentioned comment, but in case you cared to know, as a total non gamer interested in trying a campaign style game I clicked on this expecting to learn a little about these games to see if any of them sounded fun, but don’t really know anything more about them other than that you apparently like them. Would’ve loved like a synopsis or something about the game story/. Maybe that’s not a thing gamers care about 🤷♂️ anyways. Cheers mate.
This is incredibly helpful feedback and certainly is something we’ve been working on! We want to provide good recommendations, and a synopsis of what the game actually is makes a whole lot of sense to add value to that recommendation! We appreciate the comment!! 😁 I’ll see if Evan can give a quick synopsis of each game for you! - Alex, Being Friends
Space Alert is my favorite game that I can't get to the table. I own the base game and expansion and I'd love to get a dedicated group to play this. All my friends say it's too stressful though ::sigh::
@@BeingFriends Definitely worth getting. It adds a new level of difficulty and classes that players can choose and level up to add new abilities over multiple playthroughs.
Lol my top games aren't in here. Aeon's End, LotR LCG and Renegade do have a actual campaign mode. In Spirit Island we make one ourselfs (it's super easy to do). Campaign games we didn't like: LotR Journeys, Pandemic and Dawn of Peacemakers.
@@stevealbert4050 you plan a route of scenario's and levels before you start. You can set a starting number, shuffle the scenario cards and then count up, getting the level you have to play for each mission. Then if you want you can randomise the adversaries with a d6. (I might have mixed up adversary and scenario, it's been a while)
My friends and I were enjoying Pandemic Legacy: Season 1 but got really bummed out about the theme of the game after the actual pandemic. So, we haven't played it in years. After watching this video, I ordered Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion for us to give a try! Thanks for all the recommendations!
I love the journey you get to go on with these kinds of games! Definitely agree with all of these.
thats what makes them special!
I've never played a legacy game but I'm so excited to try one! By the way, you look so much like my friend Greg that it freaks me out! LOL
You are awesome! ❤
Arkham horror is probably one of my fav co-ops

City of Kings is also really neat. 😃

Jaws of the Lion is so so sooooooo GOOD!!
Yes yes yes 🙌
Spirit island is soooo fun too. Thanks for the suggestions!

Mice and Mystics is my daughter and I’s favorite game.
Mechs and Minions sounds like an advanced version of Robo Rally
Omg thank you so much for that!
Gloomhaven is my fave :)
its pretty dang GOOD
“Aftermath” is on the table at this moment waiting for us to continue 6th mission :D
I want to love this game, but the rules take all my fun away....
@@bradspiel3576 100% agree, we also chewing on it
Enjoy it. I had sold it 😥.
Unfortunately my friends bailed after 6 scenarios for Gloomhaven Jaws of the Lion. We had more luck with King's Dilemma and Betrayal Legacy.
Very helpful video! Thanks. Will buy JotL.
Thanks

@@BeingFriends Hey Alex. Thanks for the reply! I’ll check out some of your other videos too ✌️
I learned a good deal about each game he described.

ughhh i feel you. it’s so goood! i am just now hearing about the expansion😮 is that one that’s worth getting?!?

Wanted mechs vs minions so badly when it came out but the shipping to Australia was prohibitively expensive.
I bet it was, the box is massive and so heavy…

How did you make one for spirit Island?

I misread it as camping board games. Now I’m disappointed, but it’s solely my fault

It is certainly crazy how close it hits home now that we are all going through a global pandemic. Jaws of the Lion is a fantastic choice!
What a ducking snowflake
Can you do a top 5 video on app assisted board games
So where can you get it for 80 bucks. I see it for 200
Riot Games website sells it for 95. Worth every penny and then some imo.
No too many bones detected, opinion rejected
The video, the host, the games, all of them, boring.
