La fantastique Kim Wilde !
Reacts too please Kim Wilde - Never trust a stranger
"Chequered Love"!!!😊
YEAH KIM.Our gorgeous girl.I love the whole 'Catch as Catch can" album from the RAK years. So many great tracks in it,'House of Salome","Sparlks" the Blondie/ABBA-ish 'Sing it out for Love",the haunting ''Stay a while",the dark 'Shoot to disable",the beautiful 'Can u hear it?"....
She is still singing today. I loved her in her hey day. Greatvreaction❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Saw her live a couple of months ago (she seems to have been on a non-stop tour for the past couple of years :), she was out of this world! :D
@@mgparis She's a very good live performer and her voice still sounds like a girl.So youngish.
@@alexioverdo5225 Absolutely, her voice sounds amazing live, plus she has so much energy and is so engaging and friendly with her fans :)
@@mgparis had seen her live in Paris October 2012.Fab gig flawless vocals very beauuutiful woman.I lately bumbed into Ricky and Roxanne after the show while leaving the venue.
Adorooooo...Kim wilde ❤🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Kim didn't like this one but i do.Twas the age of the big impact of David Boewie's massive dance hit 'Let's Dance" that had also inpsrired this and Duran Duran's 'Union of the snake" with Chic's Nile Rodger's collaboration woven around them.I like this album. The Michael Jackson flavoured '[Backstreet Joe" is another great one that imo should have been a single.
Catch as catch can... What a brilliant album it is.
Still have my vinyl from '83
Kim Wilde is still a fav of mine
Regards from South Africa

Great memories when I was 6-7 years old at the start of primary school. 😊☺🥰😍
I remember this song but a little less the clip which I probably saw once or twice (surely the song didn't do very well or didn't enter the charts in France especially) but a little more on the other hand of a program in 1984 called Passeport Pour La Forme on TF1 (first French channel) where she performed this song presented I believe by Sydney (first black presenter in France to present to the world a program for the time on hip -hop: H.I.P H.O.P which was beginning) where musicians, famous sportsmen of the time and of course singers like Kim Wilde for this song rubbed shoulders or others like Madonna with Holiday or the Australian group INXS who left for destinations in dream: Marrakech, Senegal, Balearic Islands...
The show was rebroadcast many decades later on Melody TV where we can (re)see Kim Wilde's performance : ua-cam.com/video/QjEZY-VwlSE/v-deo.html
In this album, I remember Love Blonde a little more from the same year.
There is also a song House Of Salome (only released in certain countries) that I love but too bad there is no music video!
It entered 64 in the French chart, least it was a hit though in Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria, + Switzerland!
'Cambodia' made up for it. It sold over a million copies in France which is like 10 million in the US!
Sinon, oulalamesolives
Seeing her in Australia in October!!!
Thank you...check out Teedy swims the door and loose control.
😍
If you haven’t already reacted to those other songs of hers: “Can’t get enough of your love”, “Love is holly” and “Four letter word”. All very different, but they perfectly showcase her vocals.
Hello Dereck, you must listenning "bananarama cruel summer" great hit of 80's
Check out..Tim.Elier, s cover slave by gary numan...and the fall.
i agree but i still think her the best perf was Peters Pop show "You Keep me hangin on"
Yes Peters Pop show You keep me hangin on. reaction
I'm a *massive* fan of both Kim Wilde and Nile Rodgers, but for some reason I've never been into this song, which I find repetitive and uninspired... In my opinion, Kim is best produced by her brother Ricky, and she has tons of much better songs...
Dereck, PLEASE react to Kim Wilde & Junior's Another Step - that one is truly unique and super catchy, I think you will love it! Also, as others hace said, Never Trust a Stranger. Both songs have pretty cool videos, too.
What you said about UK charting was correct, but what is wrong a few of the countries didn't get in the top 30 but in top 10/20 like in Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Switzerland, Germany got top 30 though!
I seem to remember that this was one of her last songs for RAK. Is it true that RAK wanted her music to go in a different direction to what Kim was happy with? Please can someone let me know
Please react to "Have you ever seen the rain" of Bonnie Tyler
Can u react to the silence alexandra burke
React please to brazilian music: CANTO DAS TRÊS RAÇAS WHIT CLARA NUNES.
THANKS
Nah…that wasn’t that good. 🙂
Love Kim Wilde
As someone mentioned…”Never trust a stranger”
And I think every track on the Select-album is worth a listening as well.
Kim didn't like this one either, but the song was brought to them by RAK boss Mickey Most and he really, REALLY, wanted it to be on the album - and as a single. The single failed big time and dragged the album with it, and this was one of the reasons for Kim leaving RAK records. It is easily the weakest track of the album - and of all three albums so far (1983).
