I watched Reclamet's channel where they repaired a classic Austin A40 that had been hit. Second hand door from the owner, and panel beating the rear wing. All fixed and painted, very smart job indeed.
Can you imagine 50 yrs ago if you said to someone in the future one single car headlight would cost £1100 and it would have to be coded they would think you were completely off your rocker but here we are? Great video as always is the case 👍👍
Excellent work. It never ceases to amaze me how much modern headlight units cost. But then I was brought up on sealed beam units and conversion to plug in units. Cheap as chips! That’s going to be a great car for the money for someone.
Loved this. Can't believe how much you take on, so many things to do and you never give up. I'd be in the mental asylum faced with all these challenges. My hat is off to you both.
Very nice to see the bemmer finished and reclamet having a paint shop is also very handy for you guys and they look after you nice little partnership parts and paint
What i love about you guys, unlike ALOT of other UA-camrs, who i think fleece there follows to some extent, with putting there cars through these competition car sites to make an absolute killing! You guys set a fair price of what you want for a car and thats it, i see that as helping you're viewers getting a decent car for less money than you can buy one for anywhere else completely done, its refreshing
Never really watched car repair videos before, love how these guys are so positive and hardworking and the gentle polite English manner they speak to each other. Great channel.
Quick turn arounds = more projects = more profit. These guys have been making a living from this for years and they know what works. So many comments from armchair warriors complaining it’s too cheap - they can’t have a £25k+ motor sitting in the yard for months on end, with the price slowly depreciating over time, waiting for a buyer, so that they can purchase more projects. Just enjoy the content and go back to your Tesco shift in the morning
That’s quite funny probably 2 of the best crash repair experts that get someone to fix there van That sounds like me a builder that pays someone to work at my house 😂😂😂😂❤
Rob, I used to work at Ford factory for 27 years and anything that could possibly damage the body work of the car was covered. I have always wondered why you don’t put protection on your ramp post to prevent you guys accidentally opening a door on it especially when you do such a nice job of finishing the cars. Regards Rob
That made me smile, you spend your lives repairing other people's 'bladdered' motors and when someone bladders your own, you farm the repair out. I know it's time and you farm out the paint anyway and someone else is paying, but it made me smile
Rob, the gap above the headlight is probably for the headlight ventilation. Alot of modern headlights now have ventilation built in, so that gap probably is a little duct of air. Well spotted 😊
The BMW is looking very nice now it is done aside from those few bits to be fitted. It is good that you have another option for doing your painting for you. As you are pleased with the results no doubt you will use them again. Another one is saved and it will be out the door when you are ready. Thanks Rob and Chris for the final video on this lovely car. 👍👍
It’s testimony to you guys that you’re not charging silly money for what are clearly sorted cars. Shows you are decent people, happy to earn a coin from an honest days work. Good on ya 😀
Hi Rob and Chris, turned out very nice, lots of fiddly bits, programming etc.. lovely car and a bargain as usual. Really nice to see all your jobs always going out the door quality repaired..Alex.
It’s to stop thieves taking liberties of people who work hard for their cars and stealing them and breaking them for parts…Simples 🤷

Just replaced my two front headlamps on my 2006 audi a3. Bumper off, remove headlamps, upgrade bulbs into new headlamps, refit headlamps and bumper, slash shields. Thats it. No programming. I managed to source 2 brand new genuine Audi lamps from two different sellers for £105. Euro wanted 250 each aftermarket.
@deekthetrucker5885 how is it stopping thieves if really anyone in the after market can code them?, i know several places that can code other than the dealer.
Had the same issue on my sons M240i when we repaired that, because it was the adaptive icon led headlight, dealer price over £1200 plus modules and programming! Managed to find a used one online and luckily the smaller module was still with the damaged headlight in the boot, the larger one however we purchased an aftermarket one from eBay from Xennonsuk, we still had to have BMW program it but we had it done at the same time as it’s scheduled brake fluid change. This was nearly two years ago and it has been perfect since. So they seem to be decent quality and only £90 where bmw wanted something like £400 for genuine. I don’t understand why headlights are so damn expensive these days
Always a pleasure seeing you guys solving a puzzle!, resourcing parts, working out wiring and faults, far from the days of plugs, points and colour tuning! 😉😉
not sure if u sorted the parking sensors but the outer sensors are PMA sensors and are different from the forward facing ones. check part numbers. each front sensor shares a positive and neg with the other sensors but each has its own signal wire that have to be pinned correctly at the plug.
Cracking repair Rob & Chris 😊 Love how honest you both are about the repairs especially when you get a problem 🤔 You’re never too cheap guys as you always say Rob there’s enough profit for you both and plenty for the next trader or private sale. If you bought that car off a sales pitch they’d have to load it up just incase something went wrong and they had to fix it ☹️ Anyway fantastic as always cheers Stevie 😎
Chris is a magician Rob, and Rob you need to do another will it run video you remind me of my little girl when she comes down stairs on Christmas morning, when use get the car started! the excitement is unreal 🤣
Love the channel keep it up. When you were talking about bodyshops in the video i thought a few month's ago you had plans to build you're own booth ? Any chance of a yard update as well as a lot seems to change in the background.
Mint video again fellas she is looking 👌 well smart your new paint shop did a great job looks like another good contact you have found take care fellas and stay lucky and healthy looking forward to Sundays video 📹 already 😊❤
Thanks guy its always very entertaining to see you 2 get difficult problems over come and I so like the prophet is good enough and leaving a bit for the next guy.
Great channel. Absolute stars. Just a couple of points : Did you fit the under bonnet sound deadening to the BMW? You often refit headlights but you never seen to show them being adjusted / aligned etc - I think viewers would like to see how you do it. None of this is a criticism - please keep up the good work - your skills are fascinating.
You're also missing a quite important bit; the hood liner, you don't need that just for sound dampening but to prevent the engine from burning through the paint on the outside!
Great job fellas looks brilliant the paint is a good match to and it’s a lovely car for someone that BMW and a car for a good few years fantastic guys! See you in the next one!✨💫👌💫✨
DiagnoseDan did a repair on the wiring harness of a crash-damaged BMW that was throwing up multiple parking sensor errors. As for 'coding' headlights - boy, have we come a long way from sealed beams and tungsten (not halogen!) 40/45W globe bulbs.
I watched Reclamet's channel where they repaired a classic Austin A40 that had been hit. Second hand door from the owner, and panel beating the rear wing. All fixed and painted, very smart job indeed.
Yes, I saw that some time ago - very impressive!
have you got a link for the video pls?

Thanks guys. An enjoyable watch as always. 👌🏻
Hi Chris, try a bit of steam on the backseat where it’s dented the leather and it should pop back out on its own
Correct
Looks great, that should sell easily at that price anytime of the year! 👍
Good morning Rob and Chris, the BMW looks lovely all your hard work has paid off. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
That made me smile, you spend your lives repairing other people's 'bladdered' motors and when someone bladders your own, you farm the repair out. I know it's time and you farm out the paint anyway and someone else is paying, but it made me smile

Fantastic work as always gentlemen, well done. And great to see the number of subscribers increase too. Very happy for you.
Amazing work again 👏👏👏👌👌👌
Ridiculous that you have to program a headlight to work on new cars these days !!
All about the dealers trying to have more coin out of the customers
Long gone are the good days of being able to simple jobs on your drive
It’s to stop thieves taking liberties of people who work hard for their cars and stealing them and breaking them for parts…Simples 🤷

Great video again lads, I had a 2013 M3 that had condensation in it the stealers charged me £1998 to fit a new unit with modules and reprogrammed!!!!!
Saw you coming 😂
Great channel.
Absolute stars.
Just a couple of points :
Did you fit the under bonnet sound deadening to the BMW?
You often refit headlights but you never seen to show them being adjusted / aligned etc - I think viewers would like to see how you do it.
None of this is a criticism - please keep up the good work - your skills are fascinating.
You're also missing a quite important bit; the hood liner, you don't need that just for sound dampening but to prevent the engine from burning through the paint on the outside!
Programming a headlight, how things have changed! Do you think the gap above the headlight is for air flow?
Excellent as usual and very fair price, (too fair of course) leaving plenty for the next person. Thanks guys 👍👍👍
I would put a resistor in the pedestrian crash tube plug slightest little bump a airbags will deploy
Noooooo never mess with a safety system
Great job fellas looks brilliant the paint is a good match to and it’s a lovely car for someone that BMW and a car for a good few years fantastic guys! See you in the next one!✨💫👌💫✨
DiagnoseDan did a repair on the wiring harness of a crash-damaged BMW that was throwing up multiple parking sensor errors. As for 'coding' headlights - boy, have we come a long way from sealed beams and tungsten (not halogen!) 40/45W globe bulbs.
Great job guys! shame about the loom 👍👍
Great video, as always, boys. Car's so complicated these days. Cheers.
Nice video gents 🤓 👍
Rob I don’t comment much but that’s a very reasonable price and as you said both you and Chris are happy that’s all that matters 👍
