I watched Reclamet's channel where they repaired a classic Austin A40 that had been hit. Second hand door from the owner, and panel beating the rear wing. All fixed and painted, very smart job indeed.
Can you imagine 50 yrs ago if you said to someone in the future one single car headlight would cost £1100 and it would have to be coded they would think you were completely off your rocker but here we are? Great video as always is the case 👍👍
Very nice to see the bemmer finished and reclamet having a paint shop is also very handy for you guys and they look after you nice little partnership parts and paint
Excellent work. It never ceases to amaze me how much modern headlight units cost. But then I was brought up on sealed beam units and conversion to plug in units. Cheap as chips! That’s going to be a great car for the money for someone.
That made me smile, you spend your lives repairing other people's 'bladdered' motors and when someone bladders your own, you farm the repair out. I know it's time and you farm out the paint anyway and someone else is paying, but it made me smile
not sure if u sorted the parking sensors but the outer sensors are PMA sensors and are different from the forward facing ones. check part numbers. each front sensor shares a positive and neg with the other sensors but each has its own signal wire that have to be pinned correctly at the plug.
Hi Rob and Chris, turned out very nice, lots of fiddly bits, programming etc.. lovely car and a bargain as usual. Really nice to see all your jobs always going out the door quality repaired..Alex.
It’s to stop thieves taking liberties of people who work hard for their cars and stealing them and breaking them for parts…Simples 🤷

Just replaced my two front headlamps on my 2006 audi a3. Bumper off, remove headlamps, upgrade bulbs into new headlamps, refit headlamps and bumper, slash shields. Thats it. No programming. I managed to source 2 brand new genuine Audi lamps from two different sellers for £105. Euro wanted 250 each aftermarket.
@deekthetrucker5885 how is it stopping thieves if really anyone in the after market can code them?, i know several places that can code other than the dealer.
The BMW is looking very nice now it is done aside from those few bits to be fitted. It is good that you have another option for doing your painting for you. As you are pleased with the results no doubt you will use them again. Another one is saved and it will be out the door when you are ready. Thanks Rob and Chris for the final video on this lovely car. 👍👍
Love the channel keep it up. When you were talking about bodyshops in the video i thought a few month's ago you had plans to build you're own booth ? Any chance of a yard update as well as a lot seems to change in the background.
That’s quite funny probably 2 of the best crash repair experts that get someone to fix there van That sounds like me a builder that pays someone to work at my house 😂😂😂😂❤
DiagnoseDan did a repair on the wiring harness of a crash-damaged BMW that was throwing up multiple parking sensor errors. As for 'coding' headlights - boy, have we come a long way from sealed beams and tungsten (not halogen!) 40/45W globe bulbs.

Always a pleasure seeing you guys solving a puzzle!, resourcing parts, working out wiring and faults, far from the days of plugs, points and colour tuning! 😉😉
Thanks guy its always very entertaining to see you 2 get difficult problems over come and I so like the prophet is good enough and leaving a bit for the next guy.
You're also missing a quite important bit; the hood liner, you don't need that just for sound dampening but to prevent the engine from burning through the paint on the outside!

Yes, I saw that some time ago - very impressive!

Superb series and lovely paint job by Reclamet 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Ridiculous that you have to program a headlight to work on new cars these days !!
All about the dealers trying to have more coin out of the customers
Long gone are the good days of being able to simple jobs on your drive

Programming a headlight, how things have changed! Do you think the gap above the headlight is for air flow?
