I like how they got in there and immediately formed a spear at the chickens. Talkative, too! I'm glad you documented their arrival, especially their first group rejection by that goose, haha
Hi Ryan. I know with chicken including/introducing to a flock it's best to do it late in the evening and over night for a smooth transition. Is it the same with ducks and geese? I guess it is.
what a gorgeous place for chickens :) i've just bought a japanese goose to my emden gander and he is acting up, up until now he thought he was a chicken , had been hanging out with them for a year as i lost his goose girls last year to a fox attack. I had to put the wee goose back in a crate i think i wait til evening and let her out again as he is chasing her. Is that normal?
@@RyansGoslings I went back on live stream and saw first meeting/confrontation of the new guys with Ron and rest of the gang, scene straight out of an Attenborough documentary right on your farm. LOL

Yessir.
I try ti stick to late-day introductions as much as possible to keep the drama down. It works :)
i had 2 ganders and 4 geese and the ganders fought with one anohter somewhat rotten. Had to sell one and then the fox got the girls.

Nice intro to your new ganders! Was the one you mention getting picked on by the other two, or some different birds at where they came from?
They were picking on eachother at the place that i got them from. Im sure Ron will straighten em out :)
