Dogs making new friends with the Mules!
Переглядів 2621 годину тому
Mules are a year old! The male is a mini donkey cross with a mini horse The female is a mini donkey cross with a shetland pony. Both ornery as hell!

All that previous socialization with her paid off. Congrats to Chu Chu and welcome to all the piglets - may they thrive and grow!
Wohoo little piglets! So cute
YAY, We got new piglets! Chu Chu you're doing great!
Proud of her congrats for her!
umbilical jumpscare! I'm glad you found her - that's an impressive nest!
@@birdeaux7991 pretty much 😂😂
Oh! You caught her sill in labor
@@mingkee27 sometimes i get lucky 😅
Omg can't Waite to see them
That was a *very* mild kick (~ 1:35 or so, to Hawkeye), a friendly warning. Mule still in willing-to-be-friends mode. :-)
Love to see they're making friends!!
Cayuga ducks came from England a very long time ago. They were believed to have gone extinct until some were found near Cayuga, and while they are still rare, they are coming back.
Aw that's the sweetest video ever! Thank you for sharing this, the mules were such a surrpise when I first saw them appear on the stream I was thought just like huh Ryan? Donkeys? But mules! That's so nice to get you some mules! How they interact with you so far? :)
Thank you for sharing, Ryan
Nice to see them interact, Ryan
I think yours might have some barnyard mix mine are blacker and more erodessent not any white spots 🤔
@@christinapierce3497 theyre old. Every cayuga ive had does this.
Hey bud. So....if your sows have male piglets, do you take them to a vet to be castrated? Everything I read/hear says one cannot use the "traditional" slice and yank method due to inguinal hernias. Thanks man.
What small pigs would you recommend if I want rooting for a future garden?
Potbellies, julianas. Kune kune dont really root… so not those.
Trying to figure out how to build my own, because they're $369 now. Even if it costs me $400 to build, I'll probably be happier with the final product. Any updates on yours?
I’ve pretty much stopped using it cause they only last about a year. Utter trash. Last i looked, you have to source brushes directly from china, and they dont really have ‘egg brushes’ readily available, so they have to be custom ordered… and those guys require a MOQ, so youd have to buy 1k brushes minimum. Honestly, its a market thats lacking… the best next level i found is from Gibson Ridge Farms, at 2k a machine… and they seem to have the market cornered. Everything else seems to be either too small, or too big. Nothing for say, 300 chickens.
Great video
Can we get a copy of the code?
My wife and I saw it just fine... It looked like a little white worm...
Yep. Like a little corkscrew!
@@RyansGoslings It looked like a little white maggot worm to us... But the main thing is, we saw it very clearly... And the funny thing is, you sex a chicken the same way...
How are they for working the ground? Do they root much? I’m looking for pigs to help clear some forest area that’s overgrown with underbrush and if they can break up some of the ground, it would be great too.
They’re not super destructive. First 3”, generally. That said - if you’re doing that, I you have to keep them just a little bit hungry. Just like you would with goats.
@@RyansGoslings ty!
Cute dinosaurs you got there!
TREATS!
This can explain why I see grapes by the pool
Hey ! Cut it out
Do you have any videos on your pig fencing and housing?
I like black pigs.😊
What nice pigs!
Awesome thanks
Is there a reason why a duckling would hatch with this deficiency? I’m dealing with a 2 day old baby with this exact issue!
That wouldn’t be a niacin issue since at 2 days, they still have internal yolk. It’s likely a failure to thrive. That said, i’ve had ducklings that seem to have issue absorbing niacin, and they never ‘grow’. They’re always tiny and kinda frail.
@@RyansGoslings omg. Do you know what the chances of survival are? This is our second hatchling from a duck who was hit by a vehicle the day before she was born so I can’t give up on her.
Nice setup, Ryan

Bro was trying so hard not to get demonetized great vid tho thanks
😂😂😂😂 Gotta be monetized first!
Got this video sooner than I expected, so big thanks for that. :-) Glad to hear y'all got so much done!
I'm very sorry to hear about the chickens although you know you'll be like yeah apparently it happens but still that really sucks then the rain flooding down that just sucks But you made it through like you do!
I actually noticed the pen 3 vulnerability as I saw a chicken flew in Ah... I caught Ryan's action on live, and captured some on D
Nice to hear some news, thank you.
THANKS !!!
i had 2 ganders and 4 geese and the ganders fought with one anohter somewhat rotten. Had to sell one and then the fox got the girls.
what a gorgeous place for chickens :) i've just bought a japanese goose to my emden gander and he is acting up, up until now he thought he was a chicken , had been hanging out with them for a year as i lost his goose girls last year to a fox attack. I had to put the wee goose back in a crate i think i wait til evening and let her out again as he is chasing her. Is that normal?
Ryan's Shorts, LOL
A short one, Hahaha
Update on pengu
Hey, u were running low on ducks, yeah? lol
Not anymore…. Lol.
They're adorable I can't get over the squeaking of a duckling
Oh yeah, it’s poultry season in full effect now, got my own strain of meat chicken eggs in the incubator along with some Muscovy eggs and mixed goose eggs. I see no breeding or nesting activity from my Egyptian geese, but my ruddy shelducks have found my neighbors pond and are definitely nesting there. All my baby farm geese from last year are mating and nesting in the pen, got 4 ladies sharing 1 nest and each one has about 10 eggs they are sitting on. The pair of white Chinese is a monogamous pair, but I see my big super African male mating with the pilgrims and the Toulouse females, and my pilgrim male mating with African and other Toulouse females, gonna maybe get some interesting combos if any hatch. Happy goosing!
Awesome - Offer still stands to buy some egyptian eggs once you get em!
They do not look like a Juliana, but if they are friendly, that's all that matters. And Potbelly are a totally different breed again
Look at JPAR. There are literally no requirements to be juliana in genetics, only standards.
@RyansGoslings A breed standard will give you direction. The problem is most people do not do research and so often take other mixes. But if one just wants a smaller pet, than it shouldn't matter. Just be prepared it might get traits from the other breeds mixed in as well.
@@RyansGoslings There's always has to be at least one! "well actually...."
