Thanks for the comparisons! Personally I think the Bokeh with f/2.8 is plenty. Any more and it would look unnatural. The real issue at that aperture might be lowlight performance but yours looks good. Have you tried catalyst at regular shutter speeds? I have had pretty good success with it at lower shutter speeds as long as there isn't a ton of movement.
I agree, the bokeh produced by this lens at F/2.8 is already a lot and beautiful! I also made a video about trying different shutter speeds for Catalyst Browse stabilization and I was able to get decent results to with 1/50”, but those were daytime shots. I haven’t done a test yet for night shots but even at 1/200”, I see “ghosting” in the videos.
Good test, sir! I'm about to buy this lens for everyday use. have you tried using ultrawide converters with this lens? or is it even possible to attach those to this lens? thanks.
Hi. Thank you for this good video. A short question. At 0:27 I see an adapter ring from 55mm to something bigger. Maybe for an ND filter. Can you say why and which diameter you are using? Would be great. Thanks, Sebastian
Nice review sir.. nag iipon din ako para sa lens na toh.. ayoko kasi madaming dala na lens and I think tamang tama lang yung size nung lens na to for everyday use..
You are right 18mm is too high for vlogging. I do like the 18-50mm for everything else. I have used the 16-50mm kit lens with Ulanzi WL-3. It is good(not great) for vlogging but the bokeh is not as good at f3.5. If you have have the kit lens the WL-3 is only $50US and acts like 12mm.

Yes, it’s for an ND filter. Good catch! I use 67mm. It’s cheaper to buy adapter rings than to buy ND filters of different sizes :)
thank you! I‘ll buy also one. Your video look is great.

Glad it helped! Yan din dahilan bakit ko binili lens na ‘to, parang one lens for versatile use. Hirap daming dala talaga pag bumabyahe. :)
How does it compare to 28-45mm f/1.8?
Great video. You're so cool! Keep up!
Thank you for the feedback and for watching!
For me he is a catch ❤

this was shot 1080 or 4k ?? I mean for crop
As the lene doesn't have any kind of in body stabilization, what about handheld photo taking situation at 50mm?
Good point! I assume it would be good as long as the shutter speed is fast. I should probably test this too and make a video about it. :)
Bone appetite my friend.

Yes! Super happy sa lens na to.
