- My take on what the 25 best characters in SWGOH are as of October 2023, aside from GL's. Let me know what you agree or disagree on!

Its when you can't fault this list; that you begin to realize that Darth Vader needs a buff. Not saying he belongs at position 1 or anything; but he should at least be in the conversation for one of the best; sad times indeed.
The annoying part with it is the version of Vader we have right now IS buffed Vader. He was even worse before
I wish Lord Vader would be reskinned to Darth Vader and give him merciless massacre.

I think Darth Vader needs a buff and a serious model touch up. Or, not exactly the model, but the animations. I think having more unique animations makes him a bit less boring to use, but of course also buff him because it’s Darth Vader

The two should have been swapped.
Ranking is perfect down to the last minute detail. No complaints. Everyone is in their rightful place. I bet you are enjoying all these bonus drops, maybe you can get Leia waaaay sooner! Great video (as usual) and keep up the good work!

Only (very minor) suggestion I’d offer is maybe consider using a different background picture for these rankings. Something a little less visually chaotic 🙂👍

Hey, thanks so much! I would just say try to prioritize key characters for mods - if those 2 GLs are Rey and Kylo I have some recent videos on that :)

I dont think you stated how bad Taron's cron actually is - it literally makes him EASIER to counter because you can immediately target him with gidme. 100% a bait, should not be using his l9.

Even if you do not agree with every single character placement, you still know that all the characters in this list are good.
The primary purpose of these type of rankings is to help serve as a general guide for what characters to farm and use resources on based on their overall performance when compared to the rest of the roster.
The purpose is not to tell you that this ranking is factual and should not be treated as such. It is opinion-based in response to personal experience playing the game like how all gamers base their opinions.
If you do not agree with the ranking, then that is okay since we all have different opinions.
What is not okay is to harass people who do not share the same opinion as you.
I started at 7,400 crystals I am already at 6200. Worth it though. I can have them all at 5 stars with no other farming besides this and the Marquis’s I consider it a win

I would definitely put Mara Jade up there. Low and mid level she dominates everyone
I disagree with Tarfull being on the list. Sure Tarfull can create a Wookiie team, but in general most people will never use the team outside of the conquest requirements. All of the characters that are in the "out" category, I would rank higher.
How would I even get Darth malgus, I can't find a way to get him! I'm a relatively new player.
He a conquest character, and sadly the old ones can only be farmed very slowly once a month in an event called proving grounds. It’s an awful system that they need to change

@songeta how does one access proving grounds, I'm a new player who just got hyperdrive bundle with 800k GP. Also, is malgus relatively difficult to farm. Also, would u say that LV is a good GL to aim for as I don't rlly want to grind for SLKR or rey. So would JML or LV be better to aim for.
@@rav2296 sorry but you’re not going to like proving grounds 😬. You need 4 million GP to access it and it comes around once a month after conquest finishes. All old conquest characters are in there, and most of them are really good. It’s something I wish they would change. And Lord Vader is usually someone’s last priority for GLs cause it’s a longer farm
@@songetayh, I think they should definitely change that system. That aside rn in focusing on getting jkr and Darth revan. Just curious, is revan reborn gonna become a gl soon. Revans my fav character and I would love to see him become a gl

Nope, he is long dead, he was in the last top 25 ranking but the new characters took over his place.
Dunno, dont agree with gas on the second place since wampa can smash him in gac, we love the guy and this ranking takes in consideration all game mods but this is a major flaw which shouldnt rank him above starkiller
Wampa only takes down badly modded GAS teams which are all in the lower leagues.
@@obitouchiha4739 he is still nowhere near starkiller, he cant kill gls and even if he wins again some teams the banners are terrible

i would swap out cls for drogan with his insane dc and also crazy dmg. cls is great as a lead but a lot of times when u split han and chewie to do their own thing, cls has no job
I've found a lot of success with CLS, Chewpio, and Threepio on defense.
but it’s literally almost never worth splitting han and chewie off of CLS in 5v5. Han and Chewie don’t have their own thing. Their “thing” is with CLS. plus, he said he was trying to avoid ranking based off DC’s

Jedi knight Anakin needs a rework
Not so sure about GAS so high. CLS team seems to beat him every time. And easily. He’s tough against other team, but since a CLS team is somewhat easy to build, I would probably put GAS lower.
Maul loses to Jawas, Malgus loses to Cal + crap Jedi, Reeva loses to Phoenix. CLS is a strong team so it's fine.
You said you don't consider DCS but you have Phoenix on here beating Lord Vader and that's completely DC dependent
Probably better stated is I “try” not to - as in CLS and Han don’t get a boost from the rebel set that’s in now - with Phoenix they were able to beat some versions I believed without the DC, but I think Rex is where I put him even if they lose a bit of a step just cause they’re so insane even without stacking offense

Darth Vader is a joke in this game. Removed all buffs.
I think you put the wrong Mando in the honorable mentions. BAM really has only limited usage, whereas Mando is the key to the top BH team.
your idea of limited usage is being an integral part of one of the best fleets and also a cheap off meta counter to lord vader?
@@nancyturner217 okay, I didn't think about ships, but apart from that he's really a one trick pony.
BAM works with all scoundrels, while the other Mando only works with Bounty Hunters. Also he’s a pilot. How is BAM more limited?
@@allg3559he only has one ability that makes him viable. I wouldn’t even call it “synergy” with scoundrels.
@@allg3559 BAM works with all scoundrels but doesn't bring too much to the table, apart from his one trick. Mando has an instakill and turn meter pump. Apart from the ship(which isn't even the strongest in the fleet) BAM as a character isn't that good
I think reva is not #1... I see her on Def in GAC all the time and I just take Malgus and obliterate the 💩 out of her for max banners most time, every now and then she snipes some but I always win...
So is being unbeatable a prerequisite for #1? Everyone on this list can be beat, but Reva can beat more strong teams and GLs than any other non GL. Just cause there are counters doesn’t mean she’s not the best
@@songeta it's not that she can be beat or countered it's the fact that you can do it with a 2 man squad for full banners...
@@ctrsupplierthe others can be beaten easily too, what's your point? Gar Saxon and Super Commando can 2 man GAS for max banners, Cal with trash Jedi can kill a full Malgus team, Maul gets killed by Jawas of all teams. That's 4 of the top 5 characters we just mentioned right here. So tell me who exactly is supposed to be above the team that can beat all 8 GLs?
