Not a secret but Dark Trooper at R3 will punch most toons into space. Great character that doesn't lead to anything, not required for anyone, but worth it to relic.
Early game player here. It always gets hard to me to put some gear in Chopper that is required in many characters, but I can really tell the difference when I do. Thanks for all the great content!
Merrin at g12 immediately boosted my partial relic NS team to the point where I could actually complete CT1 of the horrible NS event. Previously, I'd just get yeeted by Sidious on a one shot. She also strengthened the team against GG for that counter. B2 is a great addition to Conquest cheese teams, since he gains tm when his allies get damaged, so he can just hit back with buff immunity. He's key to keeping alive if you want to counter JML with GG too.
Personally, I had reliced FOO strictly to give his ship more HP, but I realized afterward that giving HIM more HP and Protection gives SLKR even more bonus turns. So in addition to the video list, I recommend FOO and I highly recommend not stopping the two FO Tie pilots at minimum. I did and I regret it. I wish I had taken them to atleast R5. Both are good attackers, but really give you a strong FO B team.
I've taken on Mace to r9 for platoons but I've wanted to give him a high relic for a while. Just hit r8 today and now the grind for keypads and more z cards. I use him far more than GK these days, he's just that good.
My relic 5 Wampa is brilliant with him omicron. I'm definitely bringing him up. And another thumbs up for B2 - GG is my bug killer squad, and B2 dispels that annoying taunt on the brute so I can take out the Alpha. B2 is pretty much my MVP for that.
My Wampa was countering SEE even at R5 for a long time without any trouble, though it's been getting less reliable recently so I'm starting to feel that pull for R7~
Yeah, I agree with this list mostly. The one I'm mostly in agreement with is the Boush one. I accidentally reliced her too high, bu then I ended up not regretting it at all.
For sure get Starkiller to R9 because the higher he goes the more GLs you can beat and the easier the battles are, especially with a Palpatine and Mara Jade at R5+.
I can't recommend Starkiller enough. I've heard a lot of complaints about how he no longer counters Rey with the current datacron set, but after I bumped by SK to r8 for platoons I've had zero trouble (Granted I'm in k2 so I'm not facing 400% defense crons, but still)
Yeah he's a great high relic... We actually beat a really good Rey with the current defense set last night. Just had to use an armor pen cron It was a 160% plus the 200% lvl6
My R5 Phoenix with omi CRex just beat an R5 501st team in GAC. I lost Kanan to CT Rex because of their turn meter gain but I finished the fight with 4 standing at full health and protection.
Early game, not invested in jedi yet. Should I do mace anyways for the thick killer and his ship? His ship is actually annoying right now early game, if he gets his special I'm either dead or timed out lol
Ship is pretty bad everywhere, but you could see it as a bonus to the character. Definitely worth working on him early on since he doesn't need Kyros. He can also work with a non Jedi GR team like Padmé
@@CalvinAwesome but Zeb can daze on his basic attack. If you don't have Rex the best Phoenix team is Hera, Ezra, Kanan, Chopper and Zeb (defense). With Rex it is probably(!) Hera, Rex, Ezra, Sabine and Zeb (offense).
Relic 9 (only have 5 r9s) Mace is the best Unnecessary gear up I've ever done put all defense mods on him. With all (square, arrow, triangle cross) Offense, and protection primaries. With tenacity, speed, offense and defense secondaries.
I would disqualify Cere from the list because she is required to get to Zeffo. If I had to replace her, I would replace her with Piett, because in the current landscape, an Executor with R8 Piett, just doesn't do as well as one with an R9 Piett. I'm sure I could come up with more. Chewie maybe, because he's the member of the CLS squad that when he dies the squad falls apart.
I think regular Cal should be on that list. He’s really good not only on the Cere team, but also on a Rey team. Every team with Cal and Barris that I’ve faced in GAC I’ve ended up having to two shot. That’s whether I use JML or SK.

The add on toons or “hidden requirements” like Cad Bane for XB on executor come to mind.

Yeah that's understandable. The Phoenix squadron needs a ton of carbs/guns. Good news is that crunch does die down over time

100% agree on B2. The GG droids are an absolute Conquest machine and the entire team at R5 helps in so many game modes.
oh yeah they've been a huge help for the non Jedi/sith/ufu feats
I use GG as a Inquisitors Counter and always for attacking!

I just bought the Din Dharin lightspeed bundle. My Greif was only G12 and Mando, Cara IG and Kuill were all R1,

For phoenix/crex/hera, I’m assuming Zeb and Ezra are the less desirable ones bc they were not mentioned? I’m trying to build a good phoenix team
You're correct. Kanan/chopper have very specific roles and Sabines specials outweighs both Ezra and Zeb

Armor shred and AOE stagger for Crex to knock down is what gets you the TM loop.

Not really no. She's useable in SM on ROTE, but that's such a small value compared to most other characters
