Going for SK early is actually not bad at all. Talon goes with Traya and Savage (don’t even need to farm the other two for a crazy good defense team), Kyle goes with CLS or jedi, and I still use dash just to solo lower gear teams because he just walks on and nukes everyone
Yeah it would depend on your definition of early then. I was thinking before CLS/Traya as a rush.
I use Kyle in my JKR team because my other jedi are not reliced and he can punch quite well even with mediocre mods ;)
@@CalvinAwesome I went straight into SK after hitting lvl 85, had CLS done before that. Traya is now super quick and easy to get, so if I were building a guide around an early SK farm that’s how’d I’d say to do it, but I also totally get that he’s not the most “early game friendly”
The big thing is that a defense in GAC with SK on one wall and Travage on the other is damn near unbeatable early on

@@kubagraczyk3715 I found that to be less useful than putting another character that can call assists in that slot. JKR/JKLS/Jolee/Basti/Hoda are the squad I've found to work the best. Basti's buffs on JKLS make him a real monster.

Padme is brilliant in the mid game! 3 stars most of the proving grounds which is nice and solid in all game modes even on def
Yeah she's pretty great, courage has aged very well
i am also impressed by her performance in rote. she absoloutely slays some of those missions
I wouldn't really say it's enough to move them up in the ranking at all, but best value for JTR/BB8/R2 for me has been using them to take out Adrad teams pretty consistently. I'm usually able to do that while preserving a strong Zorii team to take out Traya+Savage double omi teams or place on defense and I use a Rey team with no resistance or just holdo. I've also gotten good use out of JTR in 3s against CLS, even with chewpio cron, but it relies heavily on having a better potency cron than they have tenacity and is going to be worse once set 7 expires.
Great call outs for best uses, the 3s counter for CLS has bailed me out a few times

Palps should be number one based solely on the fact that you can unlock him super easy and super early and he'll be one of your best characters for the entire time. Comparably, JKL, GAS, and Malak are nightmare farms.

I just got back in to the game after three years off due to medical school and am 150/330 for SEE. After that, then I’ll probably go for Executor since a lot intertwine with SEE

You can. You'll need the 50 and 100 crystal refreshes and then 200 as needed. 200s will vary on your drop rates

BB8 is way better than most people think. He turnd GG into an absolute monster. 40% tm preload is crazy. And illuminated destiny gives them a huge tm and offense boost which will continue their tm loop
I've been pretty satisfied with Nute. But I could see the roster split for certain players being advantageous

@@CalvinAwesomeIMHO Aphra is a top 3 Legendary for me, her team melts so many squads! I definitely don't regret getting her, plus she gives a home to IG88 who you need for Executor anyways.
This is why i never geared most legendary chacters ...but what stinks is u need to get what u need like GL etc...
Still a thing to not upgrade 3po's ability that gives potency? Think I left that skill at lvl 1 to ensure more resists and thus TM gain.
You could probably go either way with it now. Team has a lot of ten down either way

She's not nearly as good, however he has other things to prop him up in TW. Being Juhani, TB he's solid particularly just because he's a mixed squad

Before unlocking ultimates? I don't think I've ever seen one like that.

@kingly794 i mean, slkr is a better guy and you get a fleet for offence. Personally though i would say to not go either of them and instead go jabba. This is from a man who rushed starkiller.

@kingly794 he's just so important in the game. SLKR is a good gl and a good farm but without the sith raid he fall out of value, jabba on the other hand has so many things that he is ised for and his team is also really good.
Starkiller has expensive kyrotech requirments to get him doesn’t Mara jade need like 5 of those pieces to get to gear 12

I use c3p0 with JMK over CLS, I use old Ben in CLS, since that team just runs circles around teams, c3p0 makes JMK squad even more annoying as JMK will just have 3 stacks of translation majority of the match, special abilities for days lol

The second most common comp for SK in 3s is Savage lead barris, which is pretty easy to outspeed with Gideon

Why is thrawn so low? Hes practically an LV lifter. Hes essentially always taunting because AI targeting, he can fracture CAT, stopping her in her tracks. He gets maul foing faster, he stuns GK, ect ect.
I've never really thought of him that way. He's great for sure, but most counters don't change with him present.
Totally overlooked how crucial BB-8 can be to outrun fast teams with GG, even moreso in the GG nuke build
It's probably because I've never really used that team. I've found Nute to be better in almost all situations. The GG team is reactive in nature so I've never really seen the need to go so quickly other than the drevan counter

Personally i would put thrawn higher simply because of his capital ship and the stupid amount of work it can put in with tie defender.
Oh yeah that's a bonus, I guess maybe the same could be said about BAM being an executor pilot?
@@CalvinAwesome That's a massive selling point for both of them, and the only reason I have BAM with double zeta and R5 lol.
BAM is way to low. His reqs are useful. He’s one of the most important pilots on the most economic fleet. He has krait raid viability and he’s part of the LV counter. Considering dash and vandor as endgame characters is a huge arbitration.
I still think most of characters above him are more universal. They're pretty much all crossing over with a GL or GL ship.if not both.
BAM (lead), Kuiil, IG11, Dash, and CAT make an incredible scoundrel team. That team gets through almost anything for me due to the stat sharing and balanced complimentary skills. I know some folks will say “but you’re taking away CAT/Dash from….”. While that might be true, that scoundrel team is something to be reckoned with!

This list has the same problem as most tier lists I see these days - it's not comparing power or cost, and it tries to do both, and it ends up with bad placements because of it. GI can kill most GL squads once you have Third Sister. We have to consider the team a character is on when we consider power, so if the tier list is about power, GI should be close to #1 if not actually #1 - not to mention multiple datacrons have let us kill JMK with just GI. Putting DR/Malak ahead of them, who have never been able to even come close to taking out a GL is just silly.
If the list is about cost, then GI is only slightly more expensive than the 10 characters and massive pile of GET and Raid resources needed to finish Malak. Putting GI that low just doesn't make sense.
It's attempting to see the most general value.
Tying GI to Reva makes sense for certain players in regards to value, but it outrageously unrealistic for others.
@@CalvinAwesome sure, but which ones? If you have GAS, a GL, and a Tier 3 ship (exec-level), you should probably be getting GI and be in a guild farming Reva. She's just that good, right? Even if your guild is progressing middle to zone 3 only by day 6, you could all be getting a GL-strength character for farming just 6 other characters. In terms of value, that's insane.
if we are doing that then considering how long and how many outside factors it takes to get third sister, grand inquisitors value stays about the same due to the cost and difficulty of getting her. and outside of how long grand inquisitor takes to really become that useful team, revan and malak receive much more short term benefits due to being easier to get and also extremely powerful in the early game while also adding a flexible weapon to the arsenal in the late game.
@@ruibarian5187 yeah from a farming guide what you've said can be pretty solid. As long as you're in or searching for a guild that will also do the same.
@@chriszhang8583 You'd think that, but he's actually cheaper than most GLs and the team ultimately kills essentially all GL teams. As far as *value* goes, he's the most valuable pound-for-pound in GAC or TW, not to mention your entire guild gets 2000 GET3/month once you have her on top of a full Assault Battle clear, ultimately making up a very large chunk of that investment. In just a year, you get 865 kyros in pure GET3. None of the other Journey Guide characters make up that large of a gap.
