I am convinced that to beat basin, I used the most difficult yet interesting approach. There's a vent on the bottom left (below the 3rd core, that leads to the nuke) in the enemy region. Once I got nuked, I literally remade the whole thing around 1st core with additional 10 defensive units at the bottom side. So 1st core was protected. In the mean time, I built a mini base around the enemy vent using the gun-like-looking-stuff-shooting devices (whatever it's called) to transported troops on the other side in a sneaky way. I transported all my 2nd level tanks to the mini base and began my onslaught once I had around 30 of them. It was difficult as hell but totally strategic and felt unique!
thank you so much for posting this video! i struggled so much with basin, failing it at least 4 times before i decided to google strategies, but thanks to this video i've finally beaten it and can move on :]
since I came here for help in my beating of the map, I'd like to offer one free piece of advice: There is a free extra core you can set up at the bottom left of the starting map! if you use mass drivers you can get a head start on that area, and its a lot easier to get units from there to raid everywhere else since you have far less defenses to go through, especially since you already blew that core up
To beat basin i discovered the bottom left part of the map with radars and set up defenses there. Down there theres actually a core you can easily capture that wont go towards the early objective. Then after capturing that core i set up unit production there and used propulsion cannons to send them to the other side of the mountains. Then i destroyed the top right core with my units and destroyed all left buildings. In the top right core i once again set up unit production with cannons sending units down and when i had 60 tier 2 tanks i captured their core and completely obliterated the 3 bases left.
That's another strat you can do before the nuke lands, but afterwards, the enemy units destroy any buildings you place down there, great idea and another way to beat this map.

This game is so old and I'm new in this game. Because of this I have so many island and I learned how to use different items in this game. Salute to you brother! Keep making content of this game, we need to learn more😉
My method for basin was: - get a watered breach as soon as possible, after that, we build walls in a certain fashion that cause the enemy unit rts ai pathfinding to get lined up and lured to the breach, cleanly setting them up - slowly expand towards the base near you, in the meantime, fabricate stells and mix them in with your defense. - the nearest malis base can be raided rather easily, send in the stells to attack and destroy that core there, replacing it with ours - mine the tungsten, would be great to set up drills for the 9ther resources there. - leave the 2nd core intact, during this time you can fabricate locuses, merui and cleroi, to reach that unit capacity of 30 - destroy the 2nd base. - get nuked - launch a full scale attack with your approximately 120 units
@@LookIntoGaming I've beaten the whole erekir 2 months ago. Thanks for the tutorial in basin. I might still stuck there if i hadn't watch your video. I am very thankful
i beat it before watching this, i really went from stupid mode to ∞IQ by making as much units as possible and attack enemy core after the nuke launched
bro, I initiated the nuke early and was literally swarmed with alternators and spiders t2 enemies the moment I break the first enemy defense, gods be damned, 3 hours down the drain.
Fuck, my main core always harassed by the enemy(after I got nuked), 5 times deleted the saved campaign then import it again until my stupid brain realized I can google the strategy. Lol
I spent 12 hours in total and kept losing so I just decided to use this video, ty
I'm glad it helped!
Should have used breaches first and build the units its wayy easier that way...
You are a life saver@@LookIntoGaming
real bro. i was suffering

me and my friend did all that before the nuke

It's been a long time since I beat Erekir, and I have no plans to try that planet again, but very good to know, thank you!
thank you i no longer have to cry in the corners
No more crying in the corner for you! lol
Legend. I’ve been stuck on this all day
I'm glad it helped! The reason I made this is because this was the one level I got stuck on.
Fun fact : pause the game when your planning or building something to save time
Thanks! I'll give it a try.
he was preparing for PVP😎 (sry for late replied…)

Are propulsion cannons something you unlock later? On my first play through and I don’t see this as option…

Perhaps someday I will revisit Mindustry, but Erekir reminded me how difficult the game is now, so who knows.

Thank you. Now i could finally beat this map. I've been beaten for 3 times already and i was so pissed
Hopefully this does help you beat it!

on the area of the destroyed core, I just literally reconstructed everything xD
So good at game i usually use air troop since they are fast i just run between enemy defense attack their troop factory and then their core
Thank you bro, you very help me in this map
Glad to hear that
I think i have done like more then 10 try of this map and since they all toke like 2 hours i just need to say thank you very much
You're welcome! It's neat to see this guide still helps.
I hope that this guide helps me

That's heartbreaking man!
Damn, I feel you brother, no one told me their units will harassing me after the nuke. TT_TT
Tip:get the time control mod so you can speed up time snd dont have to wait an hour
I'm definitely going to use that if I play again, as I always had to afk wait for resources for research.
ok so, sidenote really but the Speed Control mod saves you SO MUCH TIME
allows you to speed up to 2x, 4x, 8, 16x
I have it
I rushed the first part of this level 💀. Then got crushed later by nonstop tier 2 enemies cuz my first base got only turrets
When i first played i lost i tried again but with 60 tier ones 60 tier 2 tanks then obliteraded every enemy core they stood no chance
Can you share the silicon schematic
This is the point in the game development where the developers started doing meth full time
Well, the dev's name is Anuke. He finally deiced to live up to his name and make this abomination of a map and planet.

Yeah. That's one way to do it. Everyone plays games differently, and I'm not that great at this game anymore. I peaked in V5.
@@LookIntoGaming that's okay, but if your ever interested in looking back I would recommend using this trick!
I have to reset trice to defeat those 2 ...
