It is much more than a game, it has much more depth than any movie that deals with war, it makes you understand the feeling of war veterans, and why their life is no longer the same after being in the field of battle fighting for people who don't care about you at all.
This game changed my life... When it first came out I was a straight A student destined for great things... Now.... I'm a weirdo who runs around military bases occasionally hiding in a cardboard box that my dog pissed on.... Live the dream!
While I really don’t like MGS2 to this day, I truly respect the game as Kojima was basically creating an entire universe in one sitting. Perhaps the vision was limited by the hardware. I would be down for a MGS2 in current gen.
