(Not Overused as it was just referer to his dog) Now had they placed the dog in a car that zooms off and left fire trails (like in the first movie). I think this is a combination of "The cake is a lie" from the Portal games and "There's always money in the banana stand" from Arrested Development.

Using portal as an example, there are things like the cake is a lie, the companion cube, and the cores are used a pretty good amount. In cases like Castaway, they just reference Wilson. So, I would say it could be considered overused if the joke itself is used often, but not if the joke isn’t as reused.
A deadly bar of soap is a reference to DUSK, not ULTRAKILL (which also was referencing DUSK). And there's a lot more in Fallen Aces not mentioned here. There's a Big John action figure, a meme rat, a recreation of the scene of John Travolta walking out of the bathroom in Pulp Fiction etc. But the biggest reference is in plain sight. The main character's name is Mike Thane. He's a noir thriller detective whose story is narrated through stylised comic book cutscenes. He was being watched and photographed from the flat across the road. When alerted, goons sometimes shout "IT'S THANE, WHACK 'EM!" or "HERE COMES THE PAIN IN THE BUTT". Get it? Don't answer that. A deadly bar of soap is a reference to DUSK, not ULTRAKILL (which also was referencing DUSK). And there's a lot more in Fallen Aces not mentioned here. There's a Big John action figure, a meme rat, a recreation of the scene of John Travolta walking out of the bathroom in Pulp Fiction etc. But the biggest reference is in plain sight.
The main character's name is Mike Thane. He's a noir thriller detective whose story is narrated through stylised comic book cutscenes. He was being watched and photographed from the flat across the road. When alerted, goons sometimes shout "IT'S THANE, WHACK 'EM!" or "HERE COMES THE PAIN IN THE BUTT". Get it? Don't answer that. A rhetorical question.

In case you haven’t heard of this. In Fortnite there are NPC’s on the battle royals map and two of them are Persephone and Cerberus. You can talk to them for normal dialog but if you are wearing the Hades skin they greet you accordingly to their close relationship to Hades.
I don’t know if this is an Easter egg, but in the new dlc for gta, at the new bail office business, there is a most wanted target you can capture named Chaz Liberman, maybe his name is a reference to Joe Liberman

Like some other comment says before me: The Overused Easter Egg of the Week, should be the element on itself rather than their origins they come from, I will pick another exemple: The Bonefire from Dark Souls we saw that many times, but if it's the big crow or maybe the healing potion it's fine.
EASTER EGG/DETAIL: in the end of another crabs treasure in the room with the perfect whirl the background music is a slowed down rendition of the crab rave song. it may be the song of the depths i lowkey forget exaclty when it happens

Captain Eggcelent, in people playground (a steam game) has a easter egg that, when you play the game at 3AM or PM i think, a TV will play a scary graveyard instead of the normal ruzzian channel that plays
