  • Vytas here, working with you on some full body flow exercises. If you have difficulties standing up, feel free to use a pillow to better support yourself. I often see students either hunching over or pushing their rib cage out too far. It may be hard to find balance at first, which is why I'm here to help!
    These exercises help create length and space in your body. We'll use both muscular energy and breath to make this work. When we work out our cat cows, I'll help you find the perfect position without bending your back too much too quickly. This exercise should be done slowly.
    Then, we move into downward dog. Here's a trick that helps: pretend that someone with really big hands is standing behind you pulling your thighs straight backward. This visualization makes it easier to perfect this pose. After this, I'll give you some specific directions as we work on plank exercises. Upon finishing, these moves will loosen you up physically and spiritually.
