Well from the 8 Minutes and 49 seconds I have seen I can say this. The wood splitter seems to be having a hard time pushing logs through and you can clearly see how it is struggling . Next is notice how much of the split wood is falling over the side noting they did not have a nice flaring set up so that would not happen. They say you get what you pay for but from this video it would seem more like you are not going to get even close to what you paid for. Knowing the issues just in the first 10 minutes you would think they would have addressed the issues before making the video. My vote would be Eastern Made. The simple little things I have pointed out would have been fixed before Eastern Made sold it and they would fix any problem that should happen after you bought it. True you would pay more but in the long run it would be well worth it.
I have one of the first ones ever made and it has worked flawlessly. No bending over like the imported junk at the farm stores. I have a 5 way splitter.
@@tomblack4796I would have thought that it would have 2 4 inch cylinders but I was waiting on it to kick in a second stage to bust them and then go in full steam ahead
@@randywilson6869 It is making 4 or 5 pieces of perfect sized wood per push and shoot did you see the retract time? That thing cooks pretty good. Once I sell all my wood, this machine is high on my list.
Beautiful machine it did a good job in splitting but the only thing I didn't like was the firewood falling to the side, as a manufacturer I'm sure you can come up with a diverters plate on the side of the grizzly bars to keep the wood on the conveyor. Thank you for sharing a quality machine.
The things that hurt a box wedge, a) timber getting jammed in the sides of the out chute,,, which it looks like this machine adressed. B) the operator not taking 3 seconds to remove any shavings or quater inch thick bits that are stuck at a weird angle,,, the operator didn't remove thise a few times and the machine groaned. It nearly doubles the splitting force required and its only a small piece of shaving. Nice machine
i had one of these machines from this company wood got jammed up in the wedges all the time! and wedges bent up badly they had the send out replacmend wedges! and created alot of wast! i sold it!
That machine is sick! I’d be tempted to see a diesel on it without the two stage pump. Really flies when it’s in the first stage. But I’m sure that makes the price go way up
Great machine but what a lot of machines need is a second log lift handle so a second person could use the lift wile one is working the splitting so u don’t have to wait for the person to lift or drop it
That sounds cool so where do you think it might be? I’m wondering if could just add 1 where either person could grab it I’m thinking a 2 stage pump and yes I think this might be his first time operating it I thought if he would drop it and let him load that sucker up then maybe the second guy could keep up
Its about time someone makes a real box splitter in North America. I thought I would need to buy a Raptor splitter to get a real box splitter.. Now all you need to do is make that pull back arm spring loaded and get rid of the Honda crap
I like the concept of this splitter. Would like to know what kind of wood your splitting and would also like to see the smaller wedge in action. Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Very nice splitter and great speed except the pushing part and the wood coming out the side. I think the splitter design needs to be looked at.... I am actually looking for this kind of setup but split like 19 pieces at once . I cut trees for a living so I bring all sizes back home.
When the rounds were good and straight it split plenty fast, knotty not so. But what wood was it? Dumping new roundson top of slash in the chamber doesn't help. Like to see another vid with say ash or cherry and not bone dry. Cheers from HB NZ
I think that wood splitter needs stronger hydraulics. It makes some nice looking firewood but it also makes a lot of what I call ugly firewood. Personally I’m not overly impressed with this machine. It might be the type of wood but it seems to have trouble splitting some of it. The best thing about box splitters is you don’t have to worry about re-splitting which makes them faster.
I'm only 5 minutes into the video and can tell this box splitter is WAY underpowered. Add 10 horse and try again. Wouldn't pay $9k for it let alone $15k. However, it did get the job done and that's what it's all about.
2 things I see that boy running that thing is an accident waiting to happen and I dont know what you are splitting but ether your pump aint big enough or your motor is to small.. just my humble opinion,, Over all Im not real ompressed
I wouldn't buy that if I needed a splitter. Engine is grunting most of the time and too much back and forth action. Get a bigger engine and put a knife on there that will split in eight pieces on one push. Fill that trailer in half the time! Address that stuff that falls off too. That was all easy Maple, lets see how it handles Oak or Elm. Do like those squares it produces.
I would not buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure what kind of wood that is but machine seems to be undered power. If that is a hardwood I can understand that.
With a box wedge and 4" cylinder splitting hardwood, it looked darn good to me!

I’d say it needs a bigger engine, probably a diesel for torque
This looks like a very nice machine. I like the style if this box wedge

It needs a 6inch cylinder ,bigger motor ,and a bigger pump . Butt end towards the blade and it won't shatter the wood as bad.

Great recycle time. Seems under powered. Engine? Cylinder size? What kind of wood? Some variety that is difficult to split?

I remember that box model, at shows.
Wish I had gotten one then, at the 6k price.

Awesome. Didn’t give up on the knotty stuff. Just need a 2 inch pizza wedge.
Seems to be a little bit underpowered like it's struggling. What tonnage is the ram?
awesome wood splitting machine i like it , hello new friend
good spliting john
When the rounds were good and straight it split plenty fast, knotty not so. But what wood was it? Dumping new roundson top of slash in the chamber doesn't help. Like to see another vid with say ash or cherry and not bone dry. Cheers from HB NZ
Will you guy be putting diesel motor on your auto splitter or the alpha 6 splitter?
I have an older Autosplit that I’m looking to put a 3.5 inch wedge on, would the wedge on this model work on the old style Autosplit?
How would it do with Eucalyptus???????
Don't know but that looks like white oak seems under powered for a box wedge. 4way maybe
it does struggle but keeps moving which is the idea. Sure more horses would speed it up a bit, but that means more $ and more gas.
How does it do on knotty stuff
How do you charge for all the garbage that lines up in the trailer?
First through was motor working hard. That things fast.
Is the conveyor also hooked to the wood splitter hydraulic system?
This TWC-16 conveyor is separate from the splitter. Our Pro MP and Pro HD series of firewood processors are available with integrated conveyors
Ive run Timberwolf products for 20 years and love them. This thing runs like a tired dog and pukes out a lot of trash
I think you need a bigger motor
Hey, IT"S RAINING
so the splitter shown here is $4,995?
Under powered
Title says autosplit doesn’t even have an auto cycle valve

I would never abuse my equipment like this. I would rotate the logs to a smaller surface area. Anyway.. way to smaller motor for this amount of work.

I bought the TW-2 back in 2014 It has been nothing but problems. Sorry I am very disappointed. Joe The Grower Farm in Pouughquag. Scrap metal now
Box wedges are nice but they make a lot of waste!!
Piece too big and not enough power.
I would not buy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not impressed
Makes a lot of junk and scrap , underpowered. But not to bad. Still better than swinging an 8lb axe
