I need to get on board with the tube lights! Right now my light of choice is from the company Ligjht & Motion which make the Stella Pro CLx10 with a max output of 10,000 Lumen continuous LED daylight. I also have in my bag the new Stella Pro Reflex S that can do both continuous LED or when you put it in burst mode, it can do up to 20 fps with no recharge time like a strobe would do. Just used both lights on a photoshoot and my images came out nice!
When I’m ready to buy a tube light, I’ll be getting these

Excellent video! What is the maximum number of amaran Pixel Tubes that can be connected simultaneously from the sidus link application?
I’ve slowly been moving to all Amaran lights. I even have the strip lights in my workshop. While they may be the lesser cousin of Aputure, the quality is fantastic and can be used with the Sidus app just the same. Side note, I too want a bank of lights for music videos!

I know it depends on what protect but would u say the 2 foot tubes ptc2 are more useful than the 4 foot Amaran pt2c for music videos ? some say the 2 foot are better for most things but for music videos they say 4 foot is more of a music video light ? whats your take?
I personally would have pt4c if I want to utilize them as practicals & use to light my subject. The pt2c are smaller & more so for less scenarios. Honestly, they both are necessary at times so I would grab a set of both realistically.

Just a heads up. There have been many faulty PT2C pack tubes that only turn on when plugged in. Lots of people having the same issue. I returned mine to Amazon today. Such a shame. I will repurchase but from a local shop to make sure they turn on properly. Amaran should have tested each tube before boxing. Smh
Interesting. I never experienced this issue & these work incredible for me 🔥 sometimes simple issues occur with anything in life, just send in for a replacement 👍🏼

T2C is stronger. I have both. Have the battery inside and gradients are not a big deal. I prefer the power of the old one.

Are these an upgrade to the T4/2c’s?? Just bought the T4c & T2c not too long ago 🫢😬🥹 Should I be regretting that purchase now or are they better still in some way?? 🤔🙃😓
Yeah I bought a t2c in November lol, I wanted no battery handle and pixel modes but decided to stick with Amaran so it’s all in one app. Gonna sell mine this year and get the pixel version. The battery life is better I believe on the t2c though
@@alphadanger2223 these new lights last 2 hours. what happens when the battery dies? with the older t2c, you can swap out the battery. i dont think you can do that with the new ones. i think you will have to recharge them again before you use them. these are also twice the price of the t2c. these new ones look cool but not as practical as the previous version.
@@phillip2446 yeah depends how long you need to shoot with them, for me 2 hours on max brightness is good, the T2C is basically unlimited battery life for me so I don't mind that going down for the pixel modes and no handle so I can integrate them into the scene in more ways now. and the price in the UK for one T2C is 210 but I can get 2x PT2C for 609 so 50% increase which isn't terrible
