probably running out of gears and out of torque at higher cadence. my 160Nm Toseven mid drive brings me up to 65ish with a 44t chainring at around 120rpm pedal cadence, at which the motor still delivers full power.

When you’re descending into fast terrain…for example a jumpline at a bike park, last thing you want is a sudden loss of momentum or “engine braking” when your about to hit a large table or gap
Hmm, so it hits 40km as the unlock is 40km? from what I've seen in another video you can choose 30 or 40km. hoping to get an unlimited speed unlock that doesn't screw up the speedometer data. also e-bikes are low gear'd. so want to fit a larger front chain-ring. and get the skinniest slick/road tyres I can fit on my bike. *why turn an EMTB into a road bike?* bcus it's fun. speed = adrenaline = fun. Basically becomes a motorbike without all the extra costs. and x100 more responsive.
this is my plan aswell, full suspension ebike with road wheels for those days... Cannot find any unlock for new Shimano EP6 though:/ Buying bike is on hold
Mostly power limited. It becomes quite difficult to go any faster and you are not spinning super fast at those speeds. With a gearing change and some more appropriate tyres you could likely go a little faster.

Unless you previously spent a lot of your rides riding unassisted above the limit battery life remains similar to before the derestriction

The shimano EP8 can only provide power while you pedal so Max speed without pedaling is 0 Km/h

Hi Mate, You won't get much faster then 50km/h Unless your going downhill, Range depends on a lot of factors so hard to say
