Good looking panhead. It's good to see somebody straddling the bike to kickstart. I rode a '55 panhead for several yrs - until it threw a rod thru the crankcase. I always straddled the bike for kickstarting. My 150 lb 15 yr old body took all the "kick" I had to crank that thing over. Yep, I do remember the priming kicks.
Nice bike! I hope we can get some new stickers soon in the store. I just bought some last week! I think it would be cool to get something inspired by the ''bobber breakdown'', it could become the sticker of shame to slap on friends bikes if they break down on the road.
it turns the fuel on, and if you pull it all the way up, it goes to the reserve fuel in the tank found this video explaining ua-cam.com/video/88yLTNq3C80/v-deo.html
I've been owned by my 49 Pan for over 40 years. About the time you think you have a one kick bike you will get your ass handed to you! I have been through lots of other bikes but Pterodactyl the Pan is the love of my life.

I have a 48 pan that I haven't ridden in a few years. This brings back memories.

My 57 Harley is the same except I don't have a distributor.

Does that bike have a dual point distributor?
On the start kick do you close the throttle completely or just crack it off idle?
Off topic, has prism supply contact you yet ?
Negative lol
