    Another tip, if you plant the germinated seed direct into its final pot, leave about 1.5-2 inches space between the top of the soil and rim of pot. This way, if the seedling gets stretchy, you can add more soil in order to support the plant. The buried part of the stem will be able to produce roots and further stabilize the plant. In my opinion going direct into final pot avoids the risk of shocking the plant during transplanting. With such a short grow period, everyday for an autoflower is quite precious.

    With the help of the Highagain Channel, and a bunch of other UA-camrs . Grown in build a soil 3.0/ 5 gallon fabric pot 1 top dressing at the end of every month, my first Auto W Widow G it's turning out to be a massive success I wish I could show you somehow. Piney citrusy smelling sticky goodness 3 weeks left. Thanks to your chanel.... success success SUCCESS!!!! I went with the paper towel method for germination and then straight into build a soil 5 gallon absolutely no deficiencies. Seed went in paper towel November 29th germinated on the th 30th straight into 5-gallon build a soil 3.0 fabric pot October 1st today is Nov 28. The one thing that stuck with me from all of your advice is the too much love syndrome once you are on autopilot stay out only fiddle once a day. For the first month I was in there 15 times a day" too much love syndrome", as you Growmies put it.

    I planted my photos directly into soil with nutrients for the first time but made sure to give them a high quality microbial inoculate day one. The seedlings so far have the best color I've ever had with great growth. I think with good genetics and proper microbial environment make planting into hot soil a benefit rather than risk.

    Once you germinate and get a your root, dip it in some aloe goop, sprinkle with micorrhizae, then stick 'em in your pot. This will not only promote root growth; It will also make the plant more disease resistant. I also use an aloe floliar spray after you get 3 or 4 nodes, and remove dome.

    Been growing since 76,, Don't mean to piss on yr bonfire guys but you do not want to put the seed in with " the pointy side down" , the root shoot wants to come 'up and over', not just go straight down,when it has enough purchase on the soil it will then stretch and lift it's head up leaving the wet soft seed case in the ground. If you plant it pointy side down it will send a root down but push it's head up with a seed case on,you will have a lot of sprouts coming up with their seed case still on their heads,and because it will then dry out and become hard its harder for them to bust out of slowing the growth..they can be removed manually but occasionally a stem will snap,,trust me :) ,, And as a general rule all seeds should be buried at a depth of 4 times their diameter . Hope that helps ,,keep on trukin guys :)

    Do you transplant from the solo cup into the 5 gallon bucket. I think you called it a grow bucket? In the video where she is moving to a new house?
    It was just a regular 5 gallon bucket with training wires around the sides? And maybe a water area? Where do you get that?

    Hey guys, i was wondering if you could help me please?
    - Do you plant your seed in the center, or little bit on the side? I'll do only LST, no topping for my 1st time. I've seen some people plant on the side so the main cola can be bent in the opposite direction, but i don't know if this is a good idea for the roots?
    - When do you actually start your light schedule, for example 18/6? Do you start with 24/0 schedule first while the seedlings are still underground, and do you switch to 18/6 as soon as it pops out? Or is it 18/6 from the beginning?
    Thanks, love you guys.

    Just curious...since you guys LST have you tried manipulating the light to get a little stretch between nodes? Or would that take to much time since yall mostly do autos? I have heard this works well with photo periods as it cuts down on the need to lolly pop as much when you go into flower but you still can create an even canopy. Can't grow in my state yet so I'm just gathering information for when the time comes. Thanks

    Love the videos, keep them up. But here I have a question for the community. I am trying to get started in growing. I have beans already and they are autos. I have nothing in equipment. My budget is a little lite, though I have patience, where I can piece my kits together piece by piece. I would like to either get a 4x4 or a 5x5. But in case I get impatient what is the bars minimum needed to get my growing going.

    • @twentytwo138
      @twentytwo138 2 роки тому

      Hey, what is your total budget? Maybe i can help you piece together a basic set of equipment.
      For 4x4 you should have around 400-500 watts of LED, and for 5x5 you should go for around 600 watts of LED
      If your tent is 5x5x7, you should get a 6 inch fan with around 350CFM or even more. The minimum CFM required is 5x5x7=175, but when you put a carbon filter and ducting it will reduce the fan capacity by 50% so that's why you should use double the power. You could even go higher than 350CFM, so you can run your fan at lower speeds. Makes it quieter and lasts longer. In my opinion first you should check your temperature and humidity in your room, and see if you will need an AC unit or a dehumidifer, they can cost a lot.

      I had to piece mine together as I go. I'm disabled and can't work so my husband is the only one that brings in money. Luckily he brought up growing and not me. I originally got a giixer light and it worked for about 2 weeks after sprout and then wasn't enough. Upgraded to the Sayhon sh2000 for around $150. Got vivosun 6 inch inline fan carbon filter and duct for $130 a week ago. Got a vivosun 4×4 a few days ago for around $150. Tent came today. Plants did well under the Sayhon outside of grow tent so we had time. Just got the tent, vent system put together. Added in the grow light and 2 small Oscillating fans inside the tent and a 12-14 inch box fan outside to blow air into the vents at the bottom. Also got pH up and down from PetSmart API brand. I use the foxfarm liquid plant food trio from Amazon $30-$45. pH and tds meter from Amazon for $25. Also got 2 5 gal buckets 2 5-15 gal aquarium air pumps 2 sets of tubing and 2 rectangle air stones from Walmart to aerate water to help lower ppm out of tap, evaporate chlorine chloramines and heavy metals to some extent and all that at Walmart was around $40-$50. Hope this helps and isn't too late
