Hi ! Lovely hat!! Does the size fit an average person's head ? 🤔 Can it fit men? If I want to adjust the size, how do I adjust the pattern or the stitches count?
Make more starting chains if you want the hat to be taller. Make less starting chains or Fold up the hem if you want the hat to be shorter. Make more sets if you want the hat to be wider ,looser, and bigger. Make less sets if you want the hat to be smaller and closer to head.

I dont think starting chain matters in any number, as long as you follow the guide and skip last two stitches for six times until row 12 with six markers like 6:28. But have to be careful when starting row 15, where it says slip stitches x 38, if you didnt start with 50 chains, 38 is incorrect, the correct slip stitches numbers should be your starting chain minus 12. For example, if you start with 60 chains, row 15 should be slip stitches x 48.
