DC house fire on Massachusetts Avenue

- We are at a house fire at 4743 Massachusetts Avenue NW between Fordham Road NW and Van Ness Street NW, as we see a number of DCFD engines and trucks coming in on arrival. Here is a partial run-down of the companies that operated: Engine 28, Engine 29, Engine 20, Engine 5, Engine 31, Truck 12, Truck 14, Rescue Squad 2, a couple of Medic and Ambulance units, Battalion 4, and Battalion 5. Later on, the PIO and a Deputy Chief showed up. The actual fire ended up being an electrical short in a dryer, that spread into a couple of rooms in the house. The rigs featured here are Seagraves, Spartans, Pierce, Freightliner, International, and GMC. Enjoy the response of all of the companies, the sirens, and the view of all of the companies as they operated. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. They're so fast in knocking down fires its hard to get to a scene and get good footage. I've tried many times

My guess would be they haven’t been replaced with the new gear or they do it as a way to reel between who is one the truck and engines

Black gear is new. Brown/ Tan is the older gear.
