How many Fire Fighters are assigned to this station per shift? Does one crew cross staff both the Medic/Ambulance and the Engine like St. Paul, Minnesota dose?
6 members are assigned per 24-hour shift (4 assigned to the Engine Company ; 2 on the Medic Unit) yes we do have crossed trained Firefighter/Paramedics
Im curious about the lactation room..... Does this mean the female firefighters can also bring their babies to work with them at the firehouse? I mean why else would there be such a room.... But I guess I dont understand the whole concept ..... Who watches the child if a call comes in ? Etc? Just seems odd they make an entire room about breast feeding.... Babies shouldnt be at the firehouse anyways in my opinion.
Women who are breastfeeding must pump milk during the day while they are away from their baby and store it in bottles. No babies are at the firehouse while members are on shift.
You had me.....right up to the lactation room....WTF over!!!!

Nice tour, Lieutenant Norris!
Very nice tour!
Are you serious about a lactation room. Maybe they should get rid of the men’s locker Room and replace for a menstruation room.

@@DCFireandEMS Thank you DC Fire. I was just curious. Thank you for answering for me. I love your channel . :)
Since democrats say men can get pregnant, can they use the room as well?
When we remodeled our stations with a lactation room, we was told there couldn’t be any windows. Noticed yours had a window.
Women lactating also pump throughout the day for later hence the fridge to keep it in😊
No partitions for the beds? Lol
That building is 112 years old.
