You could argue this is less a promotional video than almost every other UA-cam review I've seen of this watch.

Another fine and exact detailing video Hafiz - thank you. Like other GS with "Z" polishing, the titanium case and bracelets are SCRATCH MAGNETS. Also, as well made as GS watches are, you have pointed out there is room for improvement: 1) lack of bracelet adjustments; 2) I was not aware of the lack of fine finishing of the movement - OUCH! After watching your Snowflake and Blue Skyflake videos, I've decided the Snowflake SBGA211 sill be my next GS piece.
The GS Snowflake has been around for a while and I was expecting another rehash of the same talking points. Very glad to see your fresh take on this oft-reviewed watch as well as the candid discussion of the "cons". I do agree that GS needs to up their bracelet game. No excuse for that. As for the movement, Rolex is 2x the price and their movement looks so bad, they don't even show it. :-)
Imagine a snowflake with 39mm dial and 46mm lug to lug, then up their game in the case back department to bring ALS level movement style and finish. I'll get one right now
one aspect that is never mentioned in the reviews is that this watch is silent. No TikTok. This contributes to the sense of peace of the dial and the blue hand that glides smoothly
Thank you for doing an in-depth and fair review of GS Snowflake. I would love to see comparisons to other brands at similar price points. Seems like Seiko is smart to focus on putting money into things you can see (gliding seconds hand, case finishing, dial composition) vs. leaving out things you can only see in macro (movement finishing). To get top tier movement finishing it seems Credor is the way to go in the Seiko family.
Seiko smart to focus on things you can see (hardly) there braclets are shockingly bad for the money and that's something you can certainly see. The GS snowflake has a great dial & movement, the rest well not up to scratch.
How the movement badly finished in any way at the pricepoint? Its much better than the likes of Breitling and Tag - I would argue the "tokyo stripes" are much finer and superior to finishing on the omega 8xxx series as well.
Amazing video. Your technique has done such a fine display of craftsmanship justice that would be hard to duplicate. Nicely done. You have an amazing collection.

Great review and great watch. I am so glad that Grand Seiko branding is separately since 2017. Too bad that this watch is in Ti and that it is only 40mm. Fantastic review and imagery, but I disagree about the bracelet - polished beveling and striping throughout is lovely and definitely a step up from the basic GS bracelets.
I've never been more disappointed in a watch in person than the Snowflake. The lack of clasp adjustment, the small/flimsy crown stem really killed this watch. I instead bought a Seiko MM300.
