what new potentional features does it got comparred to oldForge?
@@lilsoul2847 its just a port /continuation of forge a lot of bigger mod devs have transitioned over towards. Forge's creator is a POS, according to the devs iirc

@ 3:13 You can just highlight the code you need to adjust the indentation of and use 'tab' or 'shift + tab' to adjust the indentations together for the highlighted lines. Easier than trying to multi-select all the lines one by one :P
please go for a tekkit vibe where you can emc the base material needed in factories or automated contraptions
I haven‘t played Project Architect but the concept behind the EMC values looks like Not too Complicated 2.
I would love to play a pack with castle in the sky mod added (closer than the 10k default distance please) and early flight options so I can bypass most of the vanilla phase. Over a decade of vanilla content just doesn't give me warm fuzzies. My fondness for occultism mod is for 2 reasons: ample storage and crushing ores for 6x resources. Powah needs ae2, imo. Nothing like having a powah energizing orb setup without a ton of redstone. I am a big fan of lazier ae2 mod, but don't see it often enough in modpacks. BumbleZone needs the queen to sell something unique to your modpack. Perhaps a piece of your final McGuffin.
wow its been a long time since ive seen castle in the sky used somewhere, and i would hope he is already planning to do something similar with the bumblezone, as your mentioned. if not, its kind of a waste imo
I'm confused because the first episode you said this isnt a hard pack and its more about testing the mods out with passive generation but then on the same vein you are trying to "balance" both emc and avoid mekanism... Any pack that has Project E is going to have weird exploitable progression or no reason to use the mod tbf. Its really easy to just pump cobble in and get diamonds :P

He wants there to always be something to do and to encourage automation. Something that's too unbalanced and overpowered yeah it's fun but that fun does fast. The key to longevity is balance. He could easily make everything 1 emc or make it an easy process to get infinite emc but at that point there's no goals to work towards there's no reason to be playing a survival world. At least that's my interpretation.
He isn't against it being exploitable either he has talked about how explotability can be fun but he wants it to be creative and rewarding to obtain so you feel accomplished.

Chosen, you may be interested in a javascript formatter like prettier. It'll fix indentation for you. You can install it in the extensions tab

was facepalming through my head, when he was "fixing" indentation. Should have been either select chunk + tab, or just autoformat

it would be fun if you could like get to a creative item in like midgame not to powerfull ofc and being able to use it to progress in the pack becouse usaly when you get creative items the pack is already complete

I'm confused by the emc cost of sulfer and niter why was it based on a stack of gun powders emc.
I'm not that far into the video yet but I assume its because sulfur and niter can craft gunpowder so he wants to make sure you cant dupe emc. I.e make gunpowder, throw it into the table then grab out more materials and craft more
Oh I just saw what your talking about my bad. It's not a full 64 stack that's saying the 4 stack you get from that crafts EMC value. So it's based off 4 gunpowder

Unless he removed it he added ultimine he just said hes going to nerf it somehow as for paxels hes added silent gear which i don't recall if it had multitools
