Pokemon/GameFreak perfected the turn based competitive formula. I’d take the subpar visuals so long as the gameplay and satisfaction of competitive Pokemon remains in tact. Competitive Yugioh isnt the lifeblood of the game. Its attracting casuals through anime and better value packs/products. 99% of people dont care that these top players dont make a living off Yugioh
i think the better value packs is kinda false if u live in the us, especially with the most recent packs limiting cards to only being in the highest rarity in the us, whilst having multiple rarities in japan.
Thank you! I didn't even bother to argue with them. I simply backed off. If Konami only cares about sales then why should I care about staying loyal to a game not loyal to it's player base? I stopped saying the game sucked and simply concluded that they are heading in a direction I or my wallet don't want to be a part of.
ngl, most of the yugioh playerbase are sadistic and hypocrites, they love to make so others dont play their game, but bitch about when they cant play it. But when you talk about how the game needs balance, the powercreep is fucking the game, and all that, they rather side with konamis design, than to improve the game they play.

2024 is gonna go down as one of the most comically bad years of this games history. Painfully boring tier 0 snake eye formats only being countered by decks like tenpai who want to play as little ygo as possible, no European events for the first half of the year with no explanation or reason as to why, 1000$ meta decks, and of course the constant slew of pro players either quitting/retiring from the game or at least competitive ygo or going to other games. Of course it’s all temporary and won’t be like this forever but MAN this year is only half way done but it’s been a rough one for ygo
"It won't be like this forever" Okay. What do you expect the next deck to actually NEED to do to replace Snake Eyes and or Fiend Smith? Cause I'm betting it's not going to suddenly improve the format but make it worse. At BEST? They ban Snakeeyes and Fiendsmith stuff; and just make Snakeeyes 2.0.
facts. I was great on master duel and once snake eyes got there I just got bored facing it 24/7 then go to see it’s the main thing in competitive too. Then I didn’t want to spend half a check or more on making a deck. I just been watching streamers cuz I do love it but there’s nothing making me personally go into it right now.
Player: Oh look a new blue eyes deck nice I will be able to play my favorite archetype and win with it. Reality: play the blue eyes deck just as a tool to summon an unbeatable board full of op monsters that none of them are blue eyes related. Question: are you really playing the archetype you love or just a different tool to summon the same unbeatable board as other decks? Same shiiit different decks.
I run a Galaxy Eyes deck because I love the design of the cards Don't really care about the strenght I don't need a deck that is super strong and works against everything so I win 9/10 matches I just wanna have some fun playing cards I like
Here's the thing with power creep and card design: They don't have to be one and the same. You don't have to make cards SIGNIFICANTLY more powerful than the last to get people to buy them. They just have to do something DIFFERENT so the game doesn't get stale. You don't have to make another negate to add to an ever growing pool of negates. However, Konami is creatively bankrupt since they created a Fiendsmith Fusion that has a RIDICULOUS negate effect even among negate effects.
But then, who would buy cards ? You realize if they werent made like that they wouldnt sell ? No one wants to play a slow game if they do they go to pokemon or magic, one piece ect.Yugioh players are extremely fast paced.
@@ramonmorales6831yep. fast-paced. and whatever form it takes, it'll always boil down to this ; a player play to ensure the opponent cannot and with how things goes, yugioh kinda struggle to lure in newcomer (its complexity quite a huge turn down). meaning yugioh playerbase would be in shamble once current playerbase which consist mainly from late teen and older either get bored of it or find something else to do

I know at least 50% of the player base would go back to 5ds pre zexal era Yugioh in a heartbeat, the game was at its best mechanically and pace wise. Xyz is when Yugioh started to go downhill
I used to laugh at locals players using their decks that cost over 1k$ to win 3 OTS packs. Just for some kid playing a pile of cards to pull the ultimate out of the box.
I've played the game off and on for about 23 years. Personally, I think locals is a lot more fun anyway so losing people in the competitive field isn't a big loss since I have never been to a competitive event. I just wish my local shop didn't stop hosting tournaments.
Local shops stopped hosting for primarily 3 reasons. Lack of product movement. -Everyons sticks to their deck type and build on, Konami just keeps releasing legacy decks/boosters/boxes. Lack of etiquette from the scene. -Lbr this scene is toxic and violent. Lack of engagement from the scene. -Because of Konami's shitty release schedule and selection pick, we just aren't showing up, P.S. If there isn't an anime about it lbr, we don't care either.
Someone just won a 30k prize card playing Lorcana this past weekend , Konami can make exclusives that makes these events worth traveling too but they haven't. tbh, while i blame konami for being crap, at this point, i blame the players who compete and still complain even more. It's been years. who _doesn't_ know the deal by now? if you're going to tournaments, you already know what you're in for. there are no surprises to be had. go to a locals, the cost of travel is lower, and the prizing is arguably better overall (my locals are all usually 20-60 bucks per week for top 6 placings). it's fine to want to play at a higher level, but we already know that it's not worth it by now. either folks stop playing in big tournaments to get the message across, or stop complaining about the tournaments when we all know that it wont change so long as they keep hitting high attendance. if you won't make konami feel it in *their* wallets and reputation, then there's no point complaining about your own.
Yeah, as someone who's played this game since the day it arrived in the US, I have a lot of feelings about this and they're in line with Jessica and others. I'll try to condense my thoughts and feelings. Edit: I mostly failed to keep it short, but thanks for reading if you did; just tired, and I feel a lot of what Jessica feels as a long-long-long time casual player. I think a lot of us have shackled ourselves to (at least) two pillars: one is that of nostalgia and all the feelings of community and comfort that come with that sort of shared sentimentality; and, the other is that of the sunk cost fallacy, wherein the time and (legitimately insane) money commitments we've already made to this game make it increasingly difficult to abandon it (whether it's abandoning it in totality, and probably out of some mixture of fatigue, disappointment, and resentment, or abandoning temporarily in protest in order to announce, in action, that the state of things is unacceptable). This is my position, as well. My friends no longer keep up with modern Yu-Gi-Oh! at all because it's just completely inaccessible at this point, and these new overpowered archetypes certainly don't make for fun and interactive game nights. The secondary market for cards is atrocious as--as with every other resale market--resellers and card shops and influencers manufacture hype and insane markups for cards, which is terrible, but the root of that problem is Konami's weird contempt for its customers expressed in its decisions about rarity bumps and card availability/accessibility, and it creates the monetary death spiral where sellers are forced to either stop selling a card game that isn't profitable for them (because they can't sell as much, and part of that reason is that no one can afford the game anymore), or are incentivized to sell everything at an insane premium. All the powercreep sits at the top of that rarity and pricing problem to the point that the game is increasingly pay-to-win. Can't shell out $1000 for the new hotness? Idk about you all, but this is why my friends and I play GOAT or Edison only, or play non-meta decks or previous meta decks that have been defanged and have had their cards' price plummet, and usually with house rules about what's fair or not (e.g. a lot of us don't allow BLS in GOAT just because we had situations where it was 'whoever summoned it first wins'), and we have more fun that way. And sadly, part of that is because the nostalgia of those older formats has us chasing the greater levels of fun and camaraderie we had when we couldn't afford all the meta cards, and couldn't bling out our decks, and had to get creative and weird to win with our sub-optimal strats. Sorry, for the long-ish post. Like you say, much much much more can be said, I think. Symptoms of the disease(s) that have poisoned our beloved game have been there since /at least/ TeleDAD and Lightsworn's first emergence. Konami learned then that it could get away with the sort of horrible garbage that is causing this wave of quitting right now: insane prices for rarity bumped cards; $1000 decks at the top and "sucks to suck" for everyone else; and a community in love enough with the game to buy in, then and now. At least back then, setting back-row mattered, and turns lasted less than 5 min, and I actually got to interact with m opponent. But sigh.
I jumped back in to Master Duel last year and I went from "What the fuck is happening" to "oh there's some interrupts and things I can do on the opponents turn now thats kind of neat" to "oh so I have to pay an arm and a leg to be able to play my turn or stop them from playing their turn meh"
I haven't played Yugioh a month and have moved my time to playing Tekken. It has made me so much happier and my wallet too. Fucck Konami and I will not support them anymore. I loved YuGiOh but they killed it with GREED
play casual my guy. as a casual and competitive player, i can say 100% that the casual scene is infinitely better than competitive, and if you have some friends who play casual, you are far better off than wasting your money on some distant ycs that's gonna run you $500+ travel fees.
Have you ever applied for a job and asked the interviewer whether the position was newly created or vacated? If so, you'll have a better understanding why what you just said is a hollow gesture
I think "competitive" is one of the reason why Powercreep exist. Because "Casual players" will happily take a "bad deck" if the deck is interesting, good art, or has any unique value.
You'd be correct and that's why m.e.t.a. and tiers exist as well as well as why a prize pool exists (as little as it is) for the #1 player. Unless your competing for survival or pride then their isn't another reason to do so.
Hot take and I will die on this hill. Mystic mine was a blessing in disguise. It helped make other decks viable against meta decks and added more variety.
Im sorry, but i don't care that pros quit. They are not the reason i play yugioh. And someone else is just gonna take their place anyway. And ultimately this means nothing anyway, game will continue and we forget about jess in a week.
Konami has proven to use time and time again that they really just don't care about the player base and would rather focus on cutting corners and stuff for money instead of furthering their game. So many people are focused on the pros leaving the game and not the years of mistakes and problems Konami's been having with the TCG for its entire run. I'm rather glad people have stopped praising Konami for their "communication" posts when we still don't even know the date of the forbidden list and moved on to how abyssmal prizing has been and how people have been flocking to other card games just because they're burnt out. Everyone's been making videos, hell, I've made a video about the above topics; hopefully Konami can wise up but what are we expecting from a company that thinks pachinko machines were the way to go.
Konami never wanted to go panchinco. They did that cause that was the only source of revenue they had left that made money. Who's to blame the failures of MGS 4 among other failed projects and IPs. Which Kojima ran Konami to the ground and the sales did not pay the heavy costs. Cause Kojima despite being promoted, he legitimately thought he was like some sort of CEO. Of course this is a story no one wants to get or discuss cause Kojima fans are the biggest zealots of the internet.

Funny how most of these reasons are why I quit in 2011. Are people just finding out what yugioh is all about as a business? These people who are "quitting" will return in no time. People can't get away from their expensive cardboard fun, therefore Konami has no reason to improve the prizepool.
All companies follow a structure. Consumer and Producer. The ones that buy the products and the ones that promote products, Konami already doing their part with the products, selling it to vendors and players alike. The same formula worked since 1996. Konami doesn't have to do cash prizes or whatever these "pro" players are complaining about, because at the end of the day, you still going to buy products, compete in these tournaments with your 1000 deck, and complain about prizes. Lets be real
MTG: 1 million USD prize pool, 1st place wins $100,000 Flesh & Blood: $300,000 prize pool, 1st place wins $100,000 Pokémon TCG: $160,000 prize pool, 1st place wins $30,000 Lorcana: No cash prizes, but special print prize cards can be worth over $25,000 (Golden Mickey Mouse print, as an example) Yu-Gi-Oh: A base model Nintendo Switch and a playmat worth MAYBE $20. You can't even say "one of these things is not like the other" as a joke. Konami might as well spit in the winner's face and wipe it off with Kazuki Takahashi's exhumed ball bag. It's an insult.
Creator of the game didn’t want cash prizes and was adamant about it being a family friendly game. It’s Konamis fault for not offer better substitutes like exclusive cards and statues.
It's sad to see Konami treat their money maker so bad, either they will fix the issues, or in 10ish years Yu-Gi-Oh will be no more. There isn't new players/collectors to carry the torch, which is why it will be gone too soon.
One can only hope the physical part dissapears asap, then again that would probably make all released physical cards increase their prices so no point i guess
When Yu-Gi-Oh went from my turn to our turn everyone should have seen this coming a mile away lmao New players turn away because they can't play because of power creep and the unnecessary amounts of mechanics to learn.
Yugioh is fundamentally flawed. I will die on the hill that the "My turn" era wasn't any better than the modern era. You are completely fucked over if your opponent draws anything better, even if slightly, because it has a larger tendency to snowball. Going 2nd has always been significantly worse. To this day, it's only really Tenpai that can change the whole "Going 2nd is bad" Going 1st barely limits you from doing anything besides the SOPTs and HOPTs, but that's applicable to going 2nd as well. No mana system = people are free to do whatever they want. The mechanics are fine and understandable. It's a game that's been out for like 20 years at this point. Decks can improve over time, not all, but a lot of decks still get support so power creep doesn't entirely kill it off. Also, I think the price is a much larger concern than it is the actual game itself tbh. I only play MD because I'm in Asia so TCG is unavailable and OCG is basically dead in my country unless I head to the big cities, which are expensive and time-consuming. Despite liking Yugioh, I wouldn't ever touch the game if the sims never existed
With all due respect, who cares about "pro players"? Yugioh is a hobby. If you're burnt out, do something else. Im sick of all of these videos of people complaining about the game "dying". At this point, the game has "died" every other week.
Exactly! So a couple groups are deciding to go NOT pro. We're just not downgrading our decks and just plan to win at locals, anyway a couple of the guys could use the store cred. They want a copy of Dragon Master Magia
Yeah the whole "Pro players aren't doing well" and "Power creep" arguments Jess trys to make are very weak. But the rest is valid complaints about the game. I don't think they really even directly touched on just the insane cost of the game as well. Just that prize support didn't justify the cost of it. Like prizing shouldn't have to justify spending 1500 dollars on 1 deck. The game should just simply not cost even remotely that much to play.
@@vla1ne Its crazy imo because every locals I go to maybe 25% of the players tops have the new expensive deck. Otherwise I'd say total 90% of players I see at locals are on budget or some jank version of the new deck missing key cards entirely or missing them at key ratios.
@@gubigubigubigubi my locals are a tad more crazy, many players have really good jobs, so i get to face full power fiendsmith snake eyes. luckily, there are four different locals within an hour of me, at four different power levels, so i can have fun at two of them, and have to bring my A game at the other two.
@@vla1ne yeah a lot of the people that can afford expensive decks fall into 3 camps from people I mostly see irl. 1. People who make like 65k+ a year at their job. 2. People who have really rich parents or are otherwise not really having to worry about money. 3. People who are literally going into debt to afford the current best deck and realistically ruining their lives doing so.
For me, the issue is every Extra deck being the same + half of the deck being the same staple cards in every deck. All decks have the same generic boss monsters, and they just go put a board to stop you from playing until you scoop.
Sad thing is people probably wont give a shit until its Josh Schmidt or Jesse Kotten before they hit the panic button. The biggest fish, maybe entertainers like MBT or Farfa, too. The really big ones.
That'll be an interesting thing to track. Joshua literally just posted a video about why he's staying, MBT has posted about why he's leaving (and also basically covered this as well so more eyes seeing it)
Josh Schmidt and Jesse Kotton are addicted to this game. I would even say they are obsessed. Hell, Schmidt said that he got his current fiancée because he met her at a YCS. They’re never going to quit because they’ve actually been rewarded by this game financially. They can cope all day about not being pro players, but they actually have careers that make them money off of YuGiOh. Both of them stream about YuGiOh content and about them playing YuGiOh, and Jesse at least offers coaching lessons based on his own claims. MBT, Farfa, and other content creators though? They’re probably gonna leave sooner or later because they’re not as obsessed. Cimo has given up any pretenses of playing modern format and is basically looking for new ways to play the game, and you can see which Yugitubers are also on the way out by the ones that collaborate often with him. Dzeef is doing the same thing.
Big time Pokemom TCG player and Causal Yugioh player here. Hearing how bad the prizing is when this has become one of the most expensive TCGs to play is absolute disgusting.
We got a man down 😂 Im tired of pro player crying every format. Komoney is sht but nobody is forcing anybody to play or to buy all these expensive cards. Sht will fix itself if people stopped playing their game
It's understandable. Will the konami gods change? Probably not. Perhaps the competitive part of Yu-gi-oh! will have problems here and there. I don't expect it to be an end all, be all.
And that's the kicker. Many Yugioh fanboys will excuse consumer unfriendly practices, almost going "Harder, Hurt me more!!" It's both sad and almost disturbing how masochistic they are
the realest comment. i used to, and still do blame konami for their trash practices, but if players are gonna still sit there and buy 500+ dollar engines, how can i be mad at konami for doing what clearly works? I hate it, but the players are what excuse the practice.
The better you get at a game the less fun it becomes. Let's be honest, you can lie to everyone and say you play lesser skilled people for fun but there's no fun if there isn't a challenge. And when there IS a challenge the game turns stressful due to your own expectations you have of yourself winning given you're so good at it and defeat just becomes an impossible pill to swallow. That's just how I see it. IDEALLY, we'd always just play with people of our own level to keep things forever interesting and fair. Not only am I talking SKILL but all other factors that may give someone an edge (better cards, or setups in this tcg situation) This is why overpowered dlc fighters in fighting games are such a big, upsetting deal to me. I try loving my fighting games, I try loving the online community and being a part of it but it's hard to accept someone shitting on a game that you once loved with everything in you due to a dumb ahh character addition and knowing that it can't ever go back to being how you once knew it. I personally only like the old school Yugioh. Cards and rules. Back when it was simpler.
1000 to 1500 dollars for the big metadecks, win a 6 dollar mat and or a normal monster prize card. They don't need to change the rewards, they need to make the game affordable
Something no other creator has talked on is how she also said (even though she didn't alebrate) that toxicity is another big reason that she's wanting to leave. I read these comment sections on videos like this and all i see is "that's a he" or "it has a Addams apple," and like, imagine how you would feel if every time you did good, all people talked about was how you look different, or how your now what you identify EVERYTIME. @PBJA89 honestly I've been an advocate for rotation formats because let's be real we have past format duels like goat, Edison, hat, etc so might as well just have rotations. As for the summon restriction I've always said no more than 6-7 special summons because we have Nibiru who requires 5+ to use its effect
Some people are viewing the situation wrong, many players 'feel like' Ko-money is disrespecting the top best players, it's basically saying even if you got good you'll be clowned on. It kinda bothers me how many people's solution to Kazuki Takahashi not wanting cash prizes is begging Konami to weasel around the spirit of his request with a technicality instead of just accepting the fact that high tier competitive Yugioh won't offer you a return on investment and just play the game at a lower level if you're not willing to throw your money down the drain.
The best of the best players in a sport should be decided by skill, not if they have the disposable income to travel to the tournament to begin with lol.

Xyz, Pendulums, and Links - and any card that makes any mention of their unique mechanics whatsoever should simply be amputated. That ****** is not fair or fun or familiar to the original spirit of Yugioh. Also, 50 card main deck always. Also, all cards are limited to 2 copies in the Main Deck and 1 copy in the Extra Deck. Only written exceptions and Normal monsters are excluded. Any level 10+ effect monster is limited to 1 - errata ALL the great iconic cards and limit the powerful ones to 1 copy. Edit: Fixed Ritual mechanics and better Ritual cards would complete this alternative version of the game. If "Link" monsters hadn't already been tarnished they could have incorporated Union monsters like Tuners and actually revitalized that mechanic but all that is wasted potential.

It baffles me why Konami dosent support its competitive scene as TCGs like Pokemon or MTG do. It as if they go "we clearly dont need to offer incentives for pros as long as people continually shill out hundreds of dollars for cards just for a chance at a Nintendo Switch"

The key issue here is the tier 0 formats with tier 0 decks that you pretty much have to play (or at least those engines). These decks cost a ridiculous amount and then those very same cards that were so sought after.get reprinted at breakneck speed. The prizing support is laughable in the worst ways. it's like Konami is effectively trying it's hardest to kill the game outside Japan.
Ignoring the debate on if this is Tier 0 or not, i feel like the actual key issues are pricingS and prizes. It's not like the non-Snake Eye Fiendsmith decks that can still stand, it's not like they're rouge playground cheap alternatives. So tier 0 or not it's expensive no matter. And the other issue is no good prizes. All professional winners are basically just not making anything off of this. It's not a sustainable career, and at the risk of getting too depressing, it's not like the real world is in a freely open to all jobs whenever time either.
Are content creators so desperate for views nowadays that they have to create clickbait videos like this every other week? The bulk of this game audience are just casuals who love the game with disposal income enough to not care about cost and play for fun. Anyone otherwise frankly are in the wrong game and wasting their time and money if that’s all they care about. They are not the target audience of this game and Konami does not care about them. Period.
I respect Jessica her choice, i quited yu-gi-oh years ago (before links came out) for certain reasons. 1: the game and cards are getting too expensive, i litterly spended €1000 euros on comp decks back in time like: Shaddoll, qliphord, Stellarknights, infernoids, dracopals and more. I had to work 1month for a comp deck, fortunately i was 2 times Champion in Belgium, but with the prize cards, boosters and new ban lists i never recovered my spend money. 2: toxiticy, most of the comp gamers are sooo focussed on winning that they try to distract you and dont even like to play for fun, an example of this is when they repeatably move cards in their hands to think, when's my turn, when's my turn.... 3: the disigns of decks, its looking more cheap knockoffs from movies. I have one question to all of you; is it still worth playing this game for comp? Or for fun? I have no awnser for that.
Right now imo there are so many single cards that cover so many aspects of the game that archetype themed decks are fading out and now are just 'engines' because cards with multiple effects require less cards to be used.
Honestly? I don’t care. They will be replaced by other pros Edit: yugioh ain’t dying for a very long time. Too many people still buy and play the game.
Whale will be whales. Also I seen whales spend way more on gacha games then Yugioh. I seen gacha players mortgage their house for their png character lol. Yugioh whales are nothing in comparison to gacha whales
Konami Management and Executives are thinking: Why waste monies on these card addicts? The top executives are too busy using the profit of Konami for their new Big Cars, Yachts, Mansions and Private Copter/Planes under Konami name ~
Yugioh players spend hundreds/thousands of dollars each year. A 5k to 10k or even 50k cash prize, would be nice. The players need to be reimbursed. If "Komoney" wants people to keep attending events, they should "spread the wealth". The Pokémon TCG provides waaaaay better prizes for their players.
I buy cards with artworks I like now. I haven't played the game in over 10 years not do I ever plan to ever again. Feel like I've outgrown the game almost or it outgrew me now, it's not the same feeling as it was before.
I agree that Konami needs to stop being so f***ing cheap, the game has been going on for almost 3 decades and you still treat your players like shit. IMO this game could be the best TCG in the world if Paynomi would do it right instead of buying another yatcht.
My 12 year old cousin asked if this was a girl and I said yea. He than paused the video and looked at him and said “you are lying cousin What’s wrong with these boys that think there girls”. Ended up just telling him it’s the food, didnt know how to answer the question.
@@Rumblethon Same energy as the douchebag moms on Facebook claiming their 5 year old went on a whole speech about Christ, the salvation of Man, and restoration of morals.
The answer is a bit too heavy for a 12 y.o. But there is a great visual novel called The House in Fata Morgana. There is a small and really good scene about this. Anyway. The scientific answer is that, as a fetus, we are born "female", it's our template state. And as we develop and grow from being a fetus to a baby, hormone density makes our body choose a male or female form factor. But there are cases where hormone imbalances disrupt this process halfway, stopping the body from finish its development as male in one case (high estrogen/progesterone and low testosterone imbalance), or forcing it to finish its development as male in another (high testosterone and low estrogen/progesterone imbalance). During puberty, a body can develop a burst of the initial hormone (the one which the baby was deficient in while developing) and develop as a person of the opposite gender assigned at birth, but these tend to be rare cases. All this is under a set of traits known as intersex. It's unlikely that this situation with your cousin will ever come up again. But now you know at least a small piece of the puzzle (it can go WAAAAY deeper. I am reducing a complex issue to simple biology because it's easier to explain and more relatable with what you already know.
@Handlerhandlerhand only liars have to make issues complicated. The reality is simple, men are XY and women are XX. And there's literally nothing you or anyone can do to change that fact.

We need more cards that read “if your opponent controls more cards than you…” most matches are decided at the coin flip

MTG: 1 million USD prize pool, 1st place wins $100,000
Flesh & Blood: $300,000 prize pool, 1st place wins $100,000
Pokémon TCG: $160,000 prize pool, 1st place wins $30,000
Lorcana: No cash prizes, but special print prize cards can be worth over $25,000 (Golden Mickey Mouse print, as an example)
Yu-Gi-Oh: A base model Nintendo Switch and a playmat worth MAYBE $20.

New players turn away because they can't play because of power creep and the unnecessary amounts of mechanics to learn.

Despite liking Yugioh, I wouldn't ever touch the game if the sims never existed

this. the gaeme is leagues cheaper in the ocg, so it's entirely possible, but people keep buying the expensive decks, so tcg keeps doing what they do.

Konami treats yugioh like a burden.
I started my magic career 2 years ago because i have noticed this game only makes me angry all the time with how this game plays. Yugioh just isnt fun anymore and its nowhere near what it used to be/feel like
I stopped playing competitively when that disgusting Branded archetype released. That archetype ties into so many others like Mirrorjade and Springans. What happened to enjoying the game? It feels like its become a game of "How can i win turn 1?"
