- I was sent these amazing covers by www.ukcustomcovers.com to install and give my opinion on - Spoiler, I LOVE THEM!

As with all my videos, I will continue to update you all on how they do over time.
Had these delivered last week for my t6.1 after seeing your video . Emailed custom covers as they weren’t advertised on the website but they did have some left in the warehouse . Excellent communication with staff . I had a bulkhead fitted so managed to just loosen the double seat to tilt it forward and slide over the back covers . The front seat did require removal which was simple as per the video . These are a super fit and I’m really happy with them . I’m physically fit but still managed to swear a lot and work up quite a bit of a sweat 😅😅😅 well happy though 👍👍👍

Had a response from UK Custom Covers regarding supplying two single covers as a stock item and they have informed me that it will be coming next year!

Nice job! I fitted covers on our van on a sweltering hot day only to for my OH to say they make her sweat and slide around 😖😫😡 but I thought they were great! 💕🐾

@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Very. Hardest part is lifting the covers up....so twice as hard for you 😂 The holes are already in the seat skeleton. You then have to make a hole in each side of the covers......easy, but time consuming mate.

Hey buddy, I wish there was, but I think there are so many variations of rock and roll beds, it would be super difficult to get a set that fits without it being bespoke .. took about an hour to fit all in all
Nice looking covers👍. Seems like there is no option for front single -single captain seats in Leatherette styles on their site though 😕, just an option for standard PU coated polyester pull-over ones.
Ah thats a shame, not sure (maybe check with them) but wouldn't the drivers side cover also fit the passenger side?

Hiya buddy its the Stop Lock Pro Elite, not sure on the sizes but it's supposes to be better than the others due to the way the key is designed. Nothing is perfect but a deterrent nevertheless. I never understand why people dislike great content. I love your channel and I just got myself a beautiful Vivario 2017 van to begin converting- mainly for photography trips like you do. Love the seats. Proper quality.
Thanks buddy, me neither but people will be people... its to be expected. However, what they don't realise is that even a thumbs down has a positive affect on how the algorithms of the channel work so happy days 🤣🤣
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Quick question Colin.You have the CRE50 in your van I believe? How reliable have you found it to be. I contemplated buying one for the van conversion ( I just got the dometic 9722 sink/cooker today before they all disappear and was looking at one) but being warned off on all the facebook converter groups saying its unreliable, sucks your battery dry like a current vampire and has cheap Chinese compressor. I'm torn now between that and the crx50-but thats a hundred quid dearer. I'd be interested in your experience months on after fitting the cre50
Hiya buddy, the CRE50 has been amazing, I was led to believe (by the manufacturer) that the only difference between the CRE50 and the CRX50 is the external look, the internals and the motor etc are exactly the same.
I have had zero issues with it, it can run pretty much indefinitely (with my solar panel) but would run quite happily (and has) for about 3 to 4 days on medium on my 120ah AGM battery!
It runs super efficiently because that's what it's ultimately built to do, other options we had were cool boxes (super heavy on power and drained our battery, pre solar panel, over night) or domestic but smaller fridges, all of which drew lots of amps and would therefore drain the battery faster.
I belive there are some slightly more efficient fridges on the market, but the power difference in my opinion is negligible.
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures Cheers Colin. That puts my mind at rest. I wont be having solar fitted atm but will be having two 110ah batteries plus eu6 battery to battery charger . Hopefully my van will be fully converted by a converter mate of mine within the next few months. Who knows, we may bump into each other on our photography travels. I haven't used my Nikon D850 in over a year.
When you unplug the seatbelt wire do you have to have the ignition on or do anything else. I’m worried about the seatbelt light staying on?
No buddy, just unplug it. To be on the safe side, once unplugged, don't turn the ignition on until its plugged back in again!
So three months on and some daily use, how are the covers doing? Any slipping or bagging?
Still looking as good as they did when I put them in Jenny, can't fault them for the price at all!

Hey buddy, I have just checkesd the link in the description but sadly it doesnt seem to work any more. Having looked online I cant see that they still offer these on their wesbite. Maybe worth a quick message to UK Custom Covers to see if they still do them, they are great at responding (especially on Instagram messages) - Say that it was this video where you saw the covers....
What is the quality like one year on? Does it still look good?

Haha mine were much tighter than yours, i almost gave up but once on they are ace, good laugh though yer buggar,. enjoyed it 👌👍
Did the seat cover eventually move forward?

Hey buddy, not 100% sure what you mean mate. Do you mean, did it move forward over time, ie come loose? If so, no. They are still looking as new and as well fitted as the day I fit them bud!

@Yorkshire Pop Top Adventures No that's spot on Colin, I installed with seat in place and it was hard to get the seat cover as tight as I would've liked.
I will take the seat out and realign / tighten things up. Its only moved a couple of inches but takes the look of it.
Traveling over to lake district end of April to meet my brother who has a t5 and don't want him picking faults 😄
Trying this now with a van with a bulkhead and no room seats don't pop up or move iv had to take everyrhing apart much more swearing 😅
Nice covers, i went to check their website but cant find the option for two singles in a Bentley stitch, "contact us" box is wobbly too. so if they are reading... sort your website son.. ;-)
Ey up buddy, in not sure but wouldn't the drivers side also fit the passenger side? Maybe check with them! The contact us form isn't great on mobiles but works perfectly on a computer....

Ah right, OK... hopefully they will read this (as they have watched the video) and make a few changes, because there are lots of folk (like you) who have 2 x singles etc so it would be great to have that as an option

When I got mine I watched a vid on how to fit them. They said oh 15 mins and done.

it toke me well over an hour. Nearly lost my nails, and didn’t half work up a good sweat and I was swearing.
