The tip of taking a claw hammer to remove pegs is brilliant. I was just on a site and the ground was so hard, the peg puller actually ripped through a few new pegs as they were so hard to pull out. I’ll be at the local hardware store shortly to buy myself a claw hammer. Thank you so much 😀
Great video, but I found the fact that your yellow cushion was upside down very distracting. Only joking brilliant as ever, but yes I have a problem 😂😂😂
Mention of head torch always makes me laugh. When I bought my first motorhome 6 years ago I bought one for the dog's bedtime toilet duties .... all the bugs fly into your face 😂 I laughed out.loud and.looked.around to see how many people were watching and thinking "stupid girl, she fell for it" .......whoever thought they were a good idea 😂 Never used it for a second time 😂
Great video Colin, now I'm sitting after work looking at your links like a kid in a sweet shop 😂. Ordering a couple things before my wife asks what I'm at, toaster gadget and toilet cover, top man, thanks a million fella 👍
Crikey those magnetic prices are not in my league, great idea, got me searching chazzers for glasses with recessed bases, I’ll get there. Great vlog. Cheers AJ
hello Colin Some great ideas, I use the aeropress all the time, I would get one of your mugs if it had a red rose instead of white😅. keep the videos coming.
In addition,- we have a fire extinguisher like yours but are considering a fire stick having watched another UA-camrs video on them. Only problem is, they are much more expensive, but…… 💕🐾
If you buy another kettle check out the 0.5L Bodum, 720W and is a perfect companion for the EF. What I like is that it has a base, it's narrow so easy to store and the body is Stainless Steel. Classy.
Not on this video, but the rock and roll bed protector/fitted sheet you have arrived today. Les was on your Amazon shopping link yesterday doing her nosey. Nice and fluffy, go well with the duvalays.
Really good video, thanks. I could really do without that background music - I’ve just spent 5 minutes looking for an alarm or gadget that I thought was alerting me to something! 😅
Each time I watch your channel, showing what you have purchased, have installed, fitted recently, improved, is making me want-one. Cost is a big factor, so I'll keep trying to win one from Aspire Comps. Great stuff Colin!!
Just a warning thought Colin, people with some types of heart pacemakers should stay well clear of induction hobs. Thanks as ever for your videos, always interesting and good fun.
I always love seeing videos on van gadgets and essentials and your was particularly enjoyable - so many good ideas. Thanks for sharing. Btw love Michelle’s bunting - also a necessary addition to the van. 💕🐾
Just stumbled across this channel, looking at all the links you’ve provided (thank you so much) I have about 3 things that when you showed them I became a little smug… (awning, heat mat, head torch, powerbank - although I think I do need to invest in a higher powered one -) absolutely loved the outakes - 😂 now off to watch all your other videos. Ta.
I seem to remember you showing a gadget to allow the back tailgate to close with a cable running out the door! or did I dream it ? please tell me I didnt dream it! ps another great upload 👌
I have the Helinox chair similar to yours as an accessory they do a tie out stake thing that connects to the chair and then stakes into the ground it’s fab stops the chair blowing away in the wind it’s only a bit of rope and a strong peg so would possibly work for other chair makes might be worth a look
@vimagemedia7962 hey, its the Kiravans bracket for the T6 - it's an art and a LOT of practice that makes it look smooth 🤣🤣! I've had many an argument with it in the past 🤣🤣
Hey buddy, I'd love to go e you a link but I got mine from Dub Styling and sadly they don't sell them any more. I did find an eBay link to something similar not so long ago, but now that's disappeared from the face of the earth too :( sorry bud
Hi Colin great videos been watching for a couple of years and yes I have subscribed 😂 I’m looking to change my worktop in my t5 just wondering where you purchased yours if you could help cheers mate 👍👍👍
Hey buddy, that's awesome. I didn't buy the top, I searched Facebook marketplace for a free oak table top and somebody was getting rid of one (not a business). Have a look on FB to see if anyone is getting rid of a table for free, that's good starting point..
Hi there please put up your list of packing things as a newbie I’m already skint😂 and Claude dam van is a money pit so help out a newbie then I can amend to me and my family
Great ideas as always. How have you found the ‘Runzi’ induction hob disc works, any problems? Can you use your Ridge Monkey with it, or do you need a flatter version, the handle that just clips on? If you don’t want to miss the puffins this year the YWT Puffin event is 13/14 May at Flamborough.
Hey, I'll be honest it's not been very good.... Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't... The ridge monkey is useless on it 🤣🤣! Thanks for the heads up re: the puffins but sadly I'll miss them this year :(
A few videos back you spoke about a nico boost battery jump starter after a flat battery, which model was it Colin there are so many, cheers in advance
Great video as always a quick question. As I've just purchased my first t5 I'm in the middle of kitting it out for the summer do you have a link so I can find a outside mate like the one you have. Thanks Ian 😊😊
Great accessories video I think, not fully sure yet as I think it’s now going to cost me a fortune…. And I’m tight too 😂😂😂 Do you have a link to stickers anywhere ?
Another top notch video mate, ta. What happened to your surf board swingout table? I'm about to get one but interested to see if you found the shape a pain in the bum hence the change
@@Yorkshirepoptopadventures cheers mate, just need to convince the Boss!! Im also thinking of getting River 2 Max... Dont do masses off grid but useful for laptop. Is that what you have?
Hey Mike, yes matey, they have to be induction compatible. Some older pans do work though so always worth checking them before you go out and buy new pans ;)
Love the carpeted cutlery drawer! Stealing that idea!
Fabby stuff sir. Keep up the great work.
One wee tip….mega hot frying pan (no oil), chuck a slice of bread in; turn a few times and voila…toast 😋

I love the fact that you are still refining and refining the van
Great video, but I found the fact that your yellow cushion was upside down very distracting. Only joking brilliant as ever, but yes I have a problem 😂😂😂
Haha I noticed it when editing the video and went straight out and put it the right way 🤣🤣🤣
Great tips, thank you. I enjoyed your video very much even despite having to check several times whose phone I could hear ringing. 😀
Exactly! 😅

Loved this one. I’m sure you’ve changed the overhead locker and seat front storage again too. Always tinkering! 🤣
Need to get those glasses. Mmmm red wine.
Great video Colin, now I'm sitting after work looking at your links like a kid in a sweet shop 😂.

Colin the Canny Tipster! Really useful…as always. Thank you
Crikey those magnetic prices are not in my league, great idea, got me searching chazzers for glasses with recessed bases, I’ll get there. Great vlog. Cheers AJ
Haha they are pricey aren't they... I was given them to review a few years back.. no way a Yorkshire man like me would pay that much 🤣
As you live proper coffee; i recommend a 1zpresso q2 hand grinder. The smell of the freshly ground beans is awesome.
Missed these kind of videos!
Potty is a real game changer!
Great video and recommendations
All the best 👍👍
Thanks so much Colin for all the links in the description. That's so helpful!
probably one of the best channels for camper info...keep it up col!!
hello Colin
Some great ideas, I use the aeropress all the time, I would get one of your mugs if it had a red rose instead of white😅. keep the videos coming.
So bizarre! About an hour before you posted this, I re-watched Pt.1 of your van essentials 😂
Glad there’s another as love them!

Reminded me Ive got a clay pigeon in the van after our trip to the huntsman holmfirth 👍

Great vlog with some great ideas.A good alternative to a standard extinguisher is a Fire Safety Stick with a longer run time and long shelf life

Suggest coolbigo tarpaulin clamps, saves putting pegs thru your mat.
Enjoyed the video

Cooking fumes in the van made me think Yorkshire pop top adventures does breaking bad 🤣
Loved and laughed so much at your outtakes thanks 😂

I prefer minimalism. Love the AeroPress though, i use it all the time
What swivel seat bracket do you have? You make it look so easy in your van tour videos. 😂
@vimagemedia7962 hey, its the Kiravans bracket for the T6 - it's an art and a LOT of practice that makes it look smooth 🤣🤣! I've had many an argument with it in the past 🤣🤣
@Yorkshirepoptopadventures thank you for the reply. You've nailed it. I'll look into it. I've been trying to decide for my T5 for 6 months. 🤣
Great content Colin but you did not mention the folding shelf beside you. Really neat any chance of a link👍🍺

This one buddy ua-cam.com/video/8yOflwKMe-k/v-deo.html
Hi Colin loved the essentials video -what was the make and size of the table you use for outside cooking please?

Hey buddy, mine is the GB70 ;)
What’s the black liner on your ceiling?
Is there insulation behind it?
Hey buddy, its the bottom of the pop top bed. It was installed by the pop top company when I had it fitted 6 years ago! C&H Poptops
Where do you get the washing up bottle holder on your window .. asking for a friend :-)
Hey buddy, it's a B&M special bud... randomly saw it and thought, "That'll fit in the space I have in the van" 🤣🤣
Nice :-) 😅
And what about your table on the picture wall ?
That's from a company called USR Design :)
Great video as always a quick question. As I've just purchased my first t5 I'm in the middle of kitting it out for the summer do you have a link so I can find a outside mate like the one you have.
Thanks Ian 😊😊
Haha I think you mean mat not mate 🤣🤣! The link is in the description buddy ;)
Can you tell me where you purchased the storage cupboard above your side window, thanks.
Hey buddy, I actually made it ages ago so sadly no link for this one
Great accessories video I think, not fully sure yet as I think it’s now going to cost me a fortune…. And I’m tight too 😂😂😂
Do you have a link to stickers anywhere ?
Thanks buddy, no stickers just yet mate..... I'll announ when they are...
Hi Colin what was that that you used on your induction hob between hob & the pan ?
Hey buddy, it's a plate you can use between the induction hob and non induction pans... It's not very good I'll be honest
🤔 have you in any way altered your current suspension following the conversion, keep up the awesome work
Hey Steve, I've not changed the suspension on the van (yet)
Another top notch video mate, ta. What happened to your surf board swingout table? I'm about to get one but interested to see if you found the shape a pain in the bum hence the change

Hi Colin great video as usual, do you have to use special pans for the induction job?
