Thanks everyone who joined in today for the Live Mixing Drums Stream! I love being able to do these! Thanks for your incredible support and great questions!
Wow, when you changed the delay on the bass tracks it sounded amazing
Thank you Warren! Omigoodness loved the end results of this session!
Thanks ever so much my friend!
That lack of electronic crosstalk takes away from the glue type feeling
Man the bass and those drums are killer!
Hi Elroi The Overseer Thanks eve so much!!
You have been invaluable to my work Warren. Thank you for all that you share and the passion you put behind it!
Zion S so glad to be able to help my friend! You Rock!
I absolutely love your, "is the live video working?" face. haha
Haha yes, indeed!
this has been really helpful, wish i'd seen/known this way back.
this was very educative...many thanks
One of these times I'll get to jump in on live stream. Lol
Great stuff again!
Great video! i’m going to be tracking a metal band and then a rock band next two months. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your talent. You're brilliant. ❤
Hi Jessica Lansbury you’re very kind my friend!
Yes in my studio on my new release of course I've just begun mixing and messing up everyhing but my gainstaging is getting better and my drums are a lot nicer but I'm still finding my sound.
That was wicked
Hey Warren, thanks so much for sharing all your work ! THANK YOU
I have two questions:
-Why/When do i have to take a low/high-passfilter or when is it better to use a low/high -cut
-Why does some producers use a reverb (EQ after the reverb) on there kickdrum, but nobody talks about it?!
Kind regards
Love the people that wait around just to instantly dislike something.
Haha it's quite ok! Thanks for the support my friend!
Yes. Home studio
Yes! Thanks for letting us know!
Sorry i put this comment in the wrong spot. Should have been the live coments. Oh well hehe. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge Warren . You are an inspiration. Cheers
Nice !!!!
watching in brazil
Hi Leonardo Moço fantastic!! Hello in Brazil!
Again there's one honourable personality among us with a great mind for pressing thumbs down...
Haha it's quite alright! You know you 're doing something right when they do that!
thanks for this, rly helpfull...would be nice to try another one with vsti drums since they seem to be hard to fit in the mix, and i think many of us have to use them
Marvellous idea! Thanks ever so much my friend!
I LOVE TO HAVE BASS ON IT TONY WORK TOO COOL
Hi Dan Peltier yes, Tony is amazing!!
ive recorded live drums in basements, living rooms, garages, basically wherever and whenever we could. now i record from the comfort of my own living room. tracking some drums for the band "Hoe Bagz" this weekend. ill email you a before (raw) and after mix
Favourite plugin: CLA MixHub
I only record live/acoustic drums, no samples used ever. Not because I'm all that great or anything or opposed to samples, just forcing myself to get the best source material I can and then build on that. Keeps it simpler for me and I'm not currently recording/mixing anyone but my own music.
Where was it that you explained your method of drum replacement?
Ahhh missed the live stream, re watching now :)
Synth Street sorry you missed it! Please enjoy the replay!
@@Producelikeapro Thank you! Enjoying it very much!! ❤️
@@SynthStreet Thanks ever so much!
1:07:10 the time adjuster on the bass made a huge difference to me, and I'm listening with 10€ earplugs ._.
Looking at those kicks ....... I don't feel so bad about the unevenitude of my kick foot, having only been even trying to play drums for just under 6 months....
Oh, a favorite plugin is a tuff call...
Elisia compressosrs are so above the rest for me.

Reverb 0ne isn't free
You need to show some ethnic/ genre diversity in your studio tour videos...there are many hip hop/ R&B engineers and producers of color you need to reach out to in NY, LA, and Atlanta...they don’t bite.
It amazes me how shitty digital plugins saturate. But that's none of my business.
