i drove an NSX. and it was one of the tightest gear boxes i have ever driven. at times it feels like your not sure if your in 3rd or 5th. but such a fun car to drive! AMAZING!

The NSX sounds much better. If anything, it makes more sense to say that the Aventador sounds like the NSX, not the other way around. The NSX is an older car.

In a way, I think the 280hp limit actually helped the production and the aftermarket tuning of many of these cars. For example, such as the NSX, the engineers had to go completely out of their way to make the car as fast and as graceful around a circuit as possible.
No way it has 740ps. More like 400. Acceleration is very slow and it sounds horrible. Fart-mobile.
This engine is one of the best sounding production engines ever..
Accelerations is not slow.
With 740ps you should get from 0-100 in about 3 seconds. Maybe it somehow doesn't put all the power down. I've seen a Honda Civic hatch do 0-60 in 4,4 seconds and it had only 430 hp. So you're telling me that with 300 more ps it can't go faster than a turbo civic?
davidencoification And why exactly do yuo say that 740 ps should get you to 100 in 3 sec? it depends so much on weight and gearing ratios. And also you should now that is doesnt have 740 ps at low rpm when accelarating. the 740 ps is probably somewhere between 4500-7000 rpm
or better yet, its probably somewhere in his imagination. At least provide a dyno sheet. A real one.

In a car like this its a real good idea to ease into the launch by slipping the clutch, if you simply drop it you will either spin the tires or break part of the drive train. Its not like a drag car where you can just take into the powerband and swap feet.
