Shifter is good Vs Unchained, you just wait for Yama + Shyama to be on board, then no matter what they lose Shyama for the grind game and don't get Yama in grave.
@@darkstarmkv wow, card has counter, who would have guessed? If they have it, so be it. Thrust wouldn't be able to add it and the same would happen to any handtrap.
@@besterranx3217 for the exact reason I said in the original comment. They lose Shyama for the grind game. If you Shifter in standby phase they end on Rage which is 3 interruptions with S:P and they still have their full engine for turn 3 when they can use the grave again.
@@francisbartoszewski2284 still that would be a strong board. Yama + caesar + escape. Escape pop and caesar's 2 negates. The Meta overall is somewhat weak. But bloody Spright followed by Tear followed by Kash has completely warped everyone's perspective of what is 'good'.
The meta is "weak". Yigioh for the past 3 years has been dominated by absurdly powerful cards and archetypes that warp the game around them. Halq, Litch, Adamancipator, Tear, Spright, and Kash are all decks built around the most powerful types of effects that exist in the game. The metagame now is only slightly more powerful than TOSS. The game still revolves around power spells but unlike 2020 until now back row is actually playable. What's really happened is all the bullshit power cards are banned or limited which allow for more deck diversity.
He set Zeus in defense position, which allowed Dryas to survive the attack against Zeus lol. If he had just placed Zeus in attack position, there was nothing Rikka could've possibly done to win the YCS
