Its amazing how differently we fish in different parts of the country for the same fish. Here on the west coast, we use flashers and downriggers to get down 150 to as much as 200 feet for kings. I also routinely fish in 50 to 100 feet of water for walleye out here.
If it’s a 3 year old planted fish, it was planted 2 years ago, a 4 year old king would be planted 3 years ago. They are a year old when they are planted.
I loved Al's talk about prayer! I'm 61 and in the same spot!
James’s narratives never get old, love watching him fish.
Your way of trolling and catching a lot of fish is so interesting, thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching
How far south are salmon showing up in Lake Michigan? Would love to join if you are looking for another body. Great video!

Also, do you all run a fish hawk to find thermocline? Thanks in advance!
A lot of people do, you can also adjust the settings of your sonar and pick it up.
@Adventures-with-smack Good times!
Great video! What rod holder and base are yous running? I have an impact with the same sport track..

Cramming all your gear into one zone, interesting.
I know, right?
They are very temperature orientated.
It wasn’t only a new Michigan record chinook salmon, it was a new Great Lake record!
