Sure is a blast taking the little ones out for outdoor adventures. Each smile during the adventure is worth a Million bucks $$$ and no one can take them moments away. Plus bonus, awesome meal to boot. Doesn't get much better than that...
I was fishing in Muskegon that same night and the ship followed us into the channel. It was a great night for sure! We got 8 fish but all in the 20 pound range. Hope the wind lays down soon for us little boats!
Awesome video! Quick question, I noticed you using a trolling motor when trolling. What are the specs of it and the specs of your boat? Size, brand, etc
@mattk3026 for Salmon I am just using the trolling motor for steering. I am running the big motor for the power...For Walleye I use just the trolling motor for trolling. It is a minnkota Terova, 24v 70lb thrust with 60in shaft...the boat is a polarkraft frontier 179WT. (17' 11" long, 8' 3" wide)
@@outdoorbelievin5259 that makes a lot of sense. Thanks so much for the reply. I’ve got a 19’ StarCraft and I’m looking for a trolling motor. Thinking I need to go at least 70-80 pounds.
@mattk3026 a 70 or 80 should work just fine...for a 19ft, if you can afford it, I would go 80. I also would recommend something with IPiolet...having the remote is life changing ...so much easier when u dont have to be in the front to use it and spot lock is amazing as well
It looks like I get to come to Western Michigan in October from North carolina. Haven't been home since May 2015 . I can't believe it's been that long anyways plan to go hunting with my brother near pentwater. I won't actually hunt I'll just camping hike not going to pay the out-of-state tag license lol
Amazing trip with your kids, nice job!

@javasoccernut have fun when you come into michigan...out of state tags are not cheap, that's for sure
I'm looking forward to Scrib's Pizza in Muskegon
@javasoccernut always a good choice
Yeah I went to school with the guy who owns it. His parents used to take me to Muskegon Mohawk games way back in the day
No Red Vines for the kids?
@javasoccernut I had them in the cooler lol...just to busy in the boat to bust them out.
