The critics and the band did this album so dirty, it's got so many of their best hooks on it, and that raw aggression from the early days was still very much alive at this point. Not just criminally underrated but wrongfully hated
Same thing with see you on the other side. Yeah, the band did something completely different and alot of people don't like it, but it's really a great and underrated album

That year, 2003., i finished highschool and move with my family to another town. All my friends stayed or move to different cities to go to college. Lost my friends, alone i listened Crystal Method - Starting Over and Korn - Everythin I ve known. Both albums by Crystal Method - Legion of booms and Korn - Take look in mirror was released that year. Perfect songs for that new era of my life.
Korn changed my life. Hearing them for the first time in '97 as a teenager..there will never be a band like them.

Oh yeah. Used to see this on FUSE tv before school when they had their countdown videos.
Something about that bass in the intro was just so nasty and gritty sounding but so fuckin badass. Korn is literally one of the best metal bands ever and I know they're currently working on new material right now, I just really hope something comes out soon cause I could definitely use some new korn stuff now
I love the atmosphere the bass creates in the beginning, plus the imagery of the red sky in the music video. So dope!!
They've been my favorite band since I heard em & they've done it all had ice cube & cheech marin featured on Follow the Leader then did some work with Skrillex went through losing Head then david they stayed strong 3 deep Jonathan, Munky, & Fieldy then Head came back & they got Ray I'd like to see the 5 originals together again rocking out but david is just being impossible to deal with so I don't think that'll happen but they're still doing the KoRn thing & going stronga lot of bands don't last this long

It’s interesting because, on the album this song comes right after “did my time” and this song feels almost like a sequel, in that they share sound and instruments and they play off of each other very well. I don’t know if lyrically it feels like a sequel, but in terms of sound and choice of instruments and the mood in which the song is going it definitely feels like it could very well be considered a sequel to “did my time”
