I have a Barra 12-60X56mm rifle scope. People at my range think that sixty power is over kill. It is a great scope for me. Have it on a Browning Xbolt target with a McMillian stock. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a twenty nine inch barrel. Will be joining a new range in October. They have a thousand yard range. Can’t wait to stretch my legs out. Ordered some Lapua bullets last night. So I will be working on load data.
Hey John , first . Thanks for all you do for our sport! And 2nd for answering my questions promptly. One more on the majesta 8-80 hm . How much weight should I allow myself using this scope? I’m re barreling now and was trying to get as much length without going over with that scope.
Isnt this a repeat video
Hey John, left a comment on the first video asking about your thoughts between this optic and the 10 to 50 kahles. Due to the five power erector range versus 10 probably only going to ever buy one of these once thanks for the help! probably never shoot an F class, just some range work
More interested in the electronic target. What is it,who makes it,please some information. New to your channel. Thanks.
shot marker
Hi. Great video. Quick question: how do you put the little target on the low right corner? Is it a video edition where you put the shots manually or do you have any sort of equipment / device to capture the shots ans make statistics? Thanks
Now I have to get one of these? I haven't even had my Tenmile for a year yet! 😄
I shot mine a couple weeks ago at ratelsnake and so far I love the thing hated what I had to pay for it Mine has the 1000K reticle
What camera are you using to film through the scope?
I noticed you didn’t opt for the mtr-wfd. Did prefer this reticle? Or this one a loaner to review?
Nope this is the one I bought. I'm not a fan of busy reticles and prefer a more simple setup like this one
Very impressive scope. Could you tell us about your rifle please.
Is this the new setup John
John , What height rings are you using with that scope ?
1.25"
did hear but what distance were you shooting at there
This video was 600yds
More of this!
The scopes are MOA or Mil?
They offer them in both but I only use MOA. Mil is no good for F Class.
@@FClassJohn I am very very newbto long range or precision shooting and I am seeing plenty of debate on MOA vs Mil and which one is better and easier. Can you make a in-depth video aboutvthese two systems, advantages and disadvantages of each and who and wherevto use either one
Nice. Very interested in this scope.
Hi John. What Reticle is your scope?
I'm using the W1 reticle.
Thank you. How do you set the zero stop on this scope? I can't find a video.
Can you please do a video how to set the zero stop?
@@DanteNoah-i7e Yeah sure, gimme a few days.
Hey John. I I narrowed it down to kahles 1050 or March Majesta. What made you to get the March and not the kahles?
What kind of action is on that rifle ?
It's a Borden BRMXD
is it just me or is the left/right backlash on your rest pretty pronounced? can't you tune that out with a SEB? looks like you are fighting getting it to point exactly where you want.
This is your 7prcw gun, right?
Correct.
two videos and no mention of weight or price or comparison to previous optics?
Yeah the first video got deleted on accident, sorry about that. This was just me excited to get it out and I'll have an in-shop video talking specs and such next week. In this case I was able to get it mounted and out for the 600 and 1000yd shooting before I had time to do an in-shop video but I understand and appreciate the comment. FWIW they are 40.21oz and can found around $4300 at EuroOptics and others. I'm actually trying to see how much cheaper ScopeList is with their offer system as I've gotten really good deals there too and they're listing them now.
Theres a thing called google
Image at 50X much better than 80X plus less mirage.
No need of 80X for 600 yds.
You need better trigger control and mire uniform tensions when shooting to improve your groups.
Personal I think the should have made a 72mm scope with this magnification.
Tobget thos in england ots £5500 plus delivery
No sound...?
i own one and above 60x the scope goes black not grey black its useless reached out to march to discuss no response save your money
The reason I ask is that I’ve seen weights from different sites that are all over the place. But you actually have it …. You know … horses mouth and all
I appreciate that. I don't have it off the gun right now but I know it was right in what March says at 42oz stripped down. But it's obviously more with sunshade and covers and such.
80x? Good for targeting the moon
blue is pretty flat
Never mind...lol
I am 14 and dont care about your disclaimer for underage lol.
Am not impressed for a 4000$ scope youd think the lenses would be alot clearer and is this guy shooting free hand cause he cant be in a vise with how much shaking and movement there is.
He is shooting at dusk and this part of the range is surrounded by 50 foot berms. Since his target is 1/3 of a mile away (1/2 kilometer) it is only about 1/2 to 1 inch of movement on target. Just settling in for the pressure on the trigger.
that better be at 2000 yards cuz that group sux
Let's see your group at 600 yards smooth brain
