So if the dog harms something or someone else could there be a lawsuit against animal control for not putting the dog down?
Not a chance. Not to mention…Sam Page would laugh in their face. He *has always* sided/stood with AC.
St. Louis County animal control is a joke. An old neighbor of mines had a pit bull that she would leave outside in her backyard but had a broken gate. The pit bull would get out often and we'd call animal control to come and get it when it ran loose and they never came. I've called them 4x myself and even taken videos of it on my property barking at my dog thru my glass door. One afternoon I was walking my shitzu and the pitbull broke thru the gate and came running towards us. I picked my shitzu up to protect her and the pit bull latched on to my wrist and I yelled for help while trying to break loose. During the ordeal, the pitbull did get a hold of my Shitzu and pulled her out of my arms and started biting her and I couldn't stop it. A neighbor ran out with a metal bat and wrestled with the pit to stop the attack. Ems, county police and animal control came and the dog was taken. I'm lucky enough to still have my 4 legged baby today but county called me after that to tell me that the owner could and was picking the pitbull back up! My husband and I were highly upset. I walked to her house 2 days after with the vet bill, which she said she wasn't going to pay. She said she was bringing the pitbull home because her grandson (who didn't live with her) was attached to the dog. My husband told her before she picked it up to fix the gate and she said no because she was renting the home. Let's just say she nor that dog live on our street anymore.
That dog should be put down it killed her dog!!!!
Jane, I am so sorry for your horrendous loss. 💔🐾
Please contact Sam Page…meet with him…scream your concerns and heartbreak. Your *family member* was murdered and you demand change.
You deserve better, Lexi. Your life mattered. 🐾🌈
Yeah my neighbors pit bull attacked my dog and bit me while I was trying to get my dog out of it's jaws.
They took the dog for 10 days, then released it back to the owners who had moved 6 days after the attack.
The owners said the same exact thing.
I carry my gun to walk my dog now...
You need a gun to fight off a terrier? Weak.
@@tommoore2012 No. I have the Terrier, which the pitbull attacked
@@brianblanke2084 Pits are terriers.
@@tommoore2012 big difference between a 20 pound wire hair terrier and a 70 pound pit bull. 2 totally different dogs with different aggression levels no matter the breed name.
@@brianblanke2084 Did you know out of all the hundreds of different dog breeds Pits ranked 2nd as the most patient? Not to mention they are one of the most mis-identified breeds in the world.
When will you people stop walking around without protection? Mace, taser, boxcutter, legal knife/gun(>25 hours of training). People and animals are unpredictable, especially these days💯
So sad! 😢
RIP,Lexi.😞You were very beautiful.
This is absolutely ridiculous. The dog ran out and killed another dog already without a leash. So they already broke the law and are getting a SECOND chance to have this happen again. Kaiser’s owners do the right thing. .
Doesn't look like a Great Dane to me.
The dog should have been put DowN & that's not a Great Dane they're NOT known to attack AlsO.
That's probably pitbull mix.🚩
@@arealhauntedhouse4171 Did you know that labs are responsible for more attacks on children than any other breed in America? Yet for some reason they aren’t known for attacking either.
That dog would die if it got my dog...i live dogs be dangerous is unacceptable
Poor little dog. Irresponsible owner of the Dane.
Thats a pitbull mix, not a great dane. And the lady is a karen that is running out of time as she is old
Kaiser should not be blamed. It's the owner's fault for not having him on leash. Dogs will be dogs.
What if the 8 lbs dog 🐕 was a child?
It's not the dog to be blame, it's the owner & he should pay
Maybe you should use common sense this is stlouis you should know not to trust anyone or the animals and have a gun on your waist. Always wild dogs and wild cats in stlouis.
.38 snub
That Great Dane must be of Asian descent.
The great dane would be discovered deceased first chance I got or sooner. I'm absolutely positive that the owner would be forced to move away for their own saftey.😮
What if you lost and got killed instead either by the Dane or the owner?
