I wanted to thank you dude, because of this review I bought one and it’s exactly the way you described it here. Your crony numbers are accurate, the groups you shot were right on the money and similar to mine and in short everything you said in this review is true. I bought guns sometimes based on other peoples reviews and sometimes I was disappointed but not with this one. Keep been honest and a straight shooter, thank you for all the work you put in these videos.
Can't wait to see a bottle version come out , with more shot count 🎯
Great video and review on the JTS 30CAL 🎯
I bought 1, it’s amazingly accurate out of the box! Great video!
Very similar performance to the Hatsan BT65 Carnivore .30 cal. The Carnivore's somewhere in the same ballpark for price, depending on where you look. I got mine on a really good sale in early 2022. The Hatsan has two advantages. First, instead of the spring loaded rotary magazine, it has a removable disk style magazine, making it easier to load. Second, the air cylinder on the Carnivore is removable, so you have the option to just carry an extra air cylinder. Shot count and velocity are nearly identical between the two guns.
Same with mine, got a deal on it for $429 @ Natchez Shooters Supply. In 2022. Id probably buy one of these JTS guns but i have a FX Dream lite in 22 cal now and if i want another 30 its just $300 for a conversion kit. js
Shoot two mags before needing a refill.
Comes with two mags.
850 fps with 45 gr pellets.
Make your investment in a good compressor, and dream about an upscale rifle in the future.
Additionally, Ben, I've watched your shooting skills improve over time. I just wanted to mention that.
Wait for the Bottle/ Adapter
model 👍🏻✌🏻
Great!! And damn. Your dog is getting big fast. Luv your posts, brotha.
Very nice Ben! What a powerful hunting rifle, you dont need any more than two mags for that purpose. Perfect for taking down larger game humanely. 😊
Fantastic! Thanks for this!
Hey Ben love your videos first off. I was wondering what is the optic you are using here? Thank you again. Keep the killer content!
Thank you Ben i ordered this gun today. I appreciate ya always, even when we disagree ,which is rare. I thought id give it ago
That's nice. I just bought the Avenge-x in .25 but found out Arizona restricts larger game to .30 and up. I was hoping to hunt some javelinas.
It's why I bought a texan lss in .457 I love the smaller calibers for plinking and small game but I want to hunt the big stuff too
Great review Ben. Great shooting too!
That is a heck of a rifle for the money! Really good looking.
72 ft lbs would be enough to take a coyote down if you can get them in close enough.
I guess, as long as you take into account its shot count limitations, it would be a good hunting rifle.
This might be what I go with if Air Venturi doesn’t come out with a .30. Saw a review on one of those British channels. Very accurate, and heck, it’s regulated. I would even risk cutting the stock down, and going bottle with an extra reg. Fill it to 43-4500 set the primary at 26-2800 if it’ll handle it. Be a dang good coyote gun.
I have the same gun. It is as accurate as is yours in this video. I am getting right at 890 fps from mine. All I did was adjust the hammer spring (very simple), and the Regulator just a wee bit (I turned the reg screw about 1/4 of a turn counter clock wise). I too am getting 14 shots before it starts falling off the reg.
That looks like an accurate, affordable rifle. When you are pushing that kind of power, you are definitely going to want a rifle with a bottle. Great video.
excellent filming
Based on the scope view and where it was hitting in the 850’s, it was about an inch low with the 840 fps shot not 5-6”. So not too bad. I’ll give Air Venturi till shot show to produce a .30, then I’m buying this. 18-20 shots isn’t an issue with me. In fact I’d bring up the reg, which would lower my shot count, for a bit more speed and thump with slugs. I would plink with this, but it would be primarily a hunting gun, so as long as keep seeing the positives I’m looking for, looks like this will be my next buy.
Cool videos. Did you ever review the Seneca dragonfly mk2?
Very cool looking & accurate pcp.
Right on
It is putting out the same power as my.25 cal LCS with 34 grain pellets @ 960 FPS. I wonder if it has the capability of more power? I mean it is a .30 cal after all. I would like to see at the least 85-90 + FPE out of this gun or any .30 cal for that matter. It’s a nice looking gun and the price is right but 72 FPE imo is low for this caliber.
This might be my next PCP
I have the rifle in .25. I've had trouble with accuracy after attaching a suppressor. Supposably it's a known issue with the JTS rifle. Could you possibly do a video with a suppressor attached and see if you have any issues. Thanks. And really like your vids.
Here is 2 vids for ya ua-cam.com/video/aJUxECsJ1yc/v-deo.htmlsi=fzVnZ6KRC7qX6HiF

Seems like good power for a "small bore" based rifle. The tank isn't big, so the shot count is expected, they have to compromise somehow.
I own a .22 cal i love it i am considering shooting 100meter indoor benchrest compititions theterhed do you think it os suited for that or do you think i meed a bigger caliber for that ??? Greetings from the Netherlands
This thing is in dire need of a 580 or 700cc carbon bottle. For a better gun or for one to let other shooters use on the weekend this is a must have.
Beater gun****
That's a great gun. Now if you can outfit your truck with a belt driven compressor for 3,000 psi so you can fill a travel tank on the drive to your location that would save you a lot of pump work. I think that you can hunt with this gun and get off 21 good shots. What hunter needs more than that? It shot accurate for 17 or 18 and after that you will have to adjust the height a bit for the last 3 or 4 shots but that is still lethal and accurate. And 30. cal is my minimum for an air rifle for hunting as it will take down a deer.
Does it have a steel barrel? Since I saw a rifle advertised with a plastic barrel, I always ask now.
The only other guns comparable with price for this caliber is the bt65 in 30 amd 357, can get for 480 typically..this is without doubt the better gun tho, would like more shots too or the ability to buy cylinders
whats the name of that scope would love to have one
Think if tuned better you can get more shots?
The new benjamin bulldog m357 is only a 5 shot gun
But i would still like to c a reveiw on that one
So at 100 yards the .30 or the .25 airacuda max ? Which would you pick?
Hmmmm 30
Can’t find them anywhere
Talking about some holes on holes on some holes! 👍
Pretty much!
I'd like to compare a mcavity ma 2 against it
Finally. A 30. 😂
Hello guys, i m beginning the pcp experience, i m curious, could you kill a deer with the .30 cal?
You'd need to check your state regs. I'm in Indiana and they require .44 cal and 400ftlbs. Really limits what rifle you can buy.
@@clintsummers9728 Thanks but i live in Europe.
@joachimpeiper4488 IMO it wouldn't be enough for our whitetail here in the Midwest of the USA. Deer in Florida are much smaller though so maybe a well placed shot on one there. I'd want at least 250 fpe. Here where I live the deer are regularly closer to 200lbs and the 400 fpe required is barely enough in my experience.
@@clintsummers9728 ok, thank you sir! Still have a lot of things to learn ;-)
Would love to see your whitetail for real. Maybe someday...
In Michigan the minimum caliber you can use legally is .357
thats over 73 fpe i believe
Good looking rifle. Nice performer
Might be ok for a small game or small hog hunt? How many shots do you need on say like a squirrel hunt. Seems to me with all the other options their is it's really not worth it. In a 30 cal it should be at least 100 fpe or more to start with. 60 -70 is bogus in reality. A .22 and .25 gets more shots and not that far off for power. My .30 cals gets 115 - 240fpe on the power level and more shots! The JTS is accurate just not worth it that I can notice. Hey good review and shooting it tho. Sta slingin that sweet air rifle lead!
What 30 you shooting to get 240fpe? My hardest shooting 30 maxes out at about 170fpe.
@@EDCandLace AEA Challenger Gen1 32" barrel
U said U can't plink with it??? .30 cal. not a plinker cal. save that for the 17 and 22.
Showwwwwwww arma top.
😂😂😂
I bought a 25 cal max .it broke in less than a year. No warranty or support. It's junk.
Really? Did you contact jts and try to order parts?
😴
I heard it’s very accurate , I can live with filling it , only if it doesn’t blow the seals 🦭? Ty Boa
30 caliber is not bigbore.
Is says "big bore" on the box... I'm not making it up. I'm just repeating what the manufacturer says.
Big bore is a relative term... .25 is big bore compared to a 177.
