The metal flakes in the tins will get into your transfer port hole and damage er! Not sure about the cheap magazines either. I've also heard they scrape and get plastic dust or particle in it as well. I started using the single shot trays only unless they have a metal magazine. Out the box i was slinging JTS 29’s at 880 FPS. Reg 150 HS 3.5-4 turns in. Wanted to run the 25’s but for whatever reason they loaded really tight in the breach. Ive run a bunch of JTS pellets in 22 and 25 and the 25 gr are the only pellet that was tight.
Getting ready to purchase the avenge x thinking 22 cal but watching the 25 cal which do you prefer. I do own a couple of springers in 22 cal thanks for the video.
Honestly I love them both, but I do lean a little bit more towards the 25 cal. I'm using the fx hybrid slugs going about 925 fps. It is devastating on small to midrange game. Super accurate. The main thing is getting your hammer spring and regulator set. It's just a little tinkering. I know you will love which ever one you get. Great stuff! I have a mag holder for this but developed for the tactical version. It uses the screw on either side that holds the stock on. Can anyone tell me if the classic model also uses an m5x10mm long screw on the side?
Wes, do you like the synthetic stock? Is it a more substantial stock than what was on the avenger? I’m leaning toward this over the wood stock because of the price difference and also because I don’t like the wood trigger guard. Thanks!!
The scope is level, but my side shot scope cam mount wasn't adjusted right lol. I have fixed it since that video. Check out my avenge x backyard plinking video. I've got a Fx chronograph on the way with some slugs to try out. Also ordered the avenge x classic synthetic bottle version in 22 caliber.

Nice, some of the h and n's fit really snug in mine. I just can't get over how accurate the avenge x is.

It all depends on what you are going to be using the rifle for and what ammunition you are going to be using
I use mine for hunting, so I use slugs with a pretty high fpe and fps for knock down power

I love the synthetic stock, I have it in the tube version and the bottle version. These rifles are amazing. Super accurate and adjustable.

Imo it’s better to zero your scope shooting your targets at the same elevation as your gun. If that makes sense

It's just an 8-shot rotary magazine, you can also get the 13-shot extended magazine.
