Ahrex - Sam's One Bug - tied by Soren Flarup

Nothing is more exciting than surface fishing for predatory fish. The view of a fish inhaling one's fly in a big splash is adrenaline kick in top class. Back in late 1980, American fly fisherman and fly tyer Craig "Sam " Blevins developed a surface fly for his beloved bass fishing, which he named Sam's One Bug. The fly had to be especially resistant to the teeth of predatory fish, and in addition to being able to float perfectly, it had to be relatively easy to tie. In fact, he has managed to catch more than 100 fish on one and the same fly. In this video, Søren Flarup will be behind the vise and demonstrat Sam's One Bug in the classic yellow-orange color - but please tie it in your own favorite colorcombination or other colors.

Seren, thanks for sharing this. I'm in Alabama and I know Wade. This fly has caught more fish for me in the past 4 years than any other fly.
