I really love your videos. Prior to watching your videos,I didn't care for my hair but now I have really changed that and I must say I am loving how it feels. I know a lot of other viewers might express the same sentiments so on behalf of them I want to say a big thank you.
I heat style my natural hair and I don't protective style either. I just don't like weave/wigs. I wear buns and bantu knots while my hair is straight. When I take heat breaks I install mini loose twists. My hair is a little past bsl, and honestly I'm quite happy with my length. Longer hair than mine is nice to look at, but I don't want that much hair as my hair is already thick and course. If my hair gets longer I'll probably cut it back to bsl. Anyway your hair always looks healthy and I enjoy your channel. Although I can't relate with relaxing, I still get helpful information and styling ideas bc I wear my hair straight. Keep them coming!
Love your hair! Just wondering what styles did you wear before your hair go to that length?? My 4c hair is a little past my neck and I feel like it’s in an awkward stage. To me, shorter hair requires more maintenance//neatness.
Great video! I'm confused though and just started learning more about porosity. I tested strands of my hair last night in a cup of water for a few minutes. I determined my hair is low porosity because it was floating the whole time. I read that it means my hair is not damaged. I have been doing 'hair botox' for about two years now which still makes it easy to have straight hair without chemicals; before that I was doing texturizers and keratin for a few years; and before that I was doing relaxers. Now I don't do any of those (but I still have texturizer left towards the mid-length of my hair to the ends). Could this be why my hair is not high porosity, since I don't do chemical treatments anymore? Thank you so much :)
Thank you so much for this! I'm having a lot of trouble with my relaxed hair due to having to go four months without a relaxer, when I usually have one every 7 weeks. I'm getting so much knotting and matting on my wash days. But the ending of this video reminded me I do love my hair, thank you for the reminder xx
Seems youre like me. We have fast growing hair and it's hard to stretch long. I lose more hair, so im just going to stick to 6 weeks. I never had issues in the past.
@@luckyone2311 You are so right! I've lost soo much hair during this time. I've never had issues either before either but now I've had to buy 4 detanglers. Only a month left then I can finally get it done again phew
It's funny that I only recently discovered your channel. I have been watching all your videos ever since and learnt a lot as well. I'm actively taking up your hair regiment... I'm totally inspired to turn my hair story in to a healthy one. Who knows I might even start filming my story on my channel 😂
girl i made the mistake of texlaxing bc i couldnt fully relax my hair in college and my hair is a mess now...its like 7 years later and i will be fully relaxing again!
nice video!...you are so inspirational! btw where did you get your top from? can you do an outfit lookbook video?...love your style so much! so classy and feminine!
Wow thank you! I hadn’t thought about doing fashion but if you’re interested I can definitely try and incorporate it! My top is from Stradivarius via ASOS x
I would love to see a vid on looking after your hair if you are a regular gym goer 😅. I also want to ask : I don’t have necessarily THICK hair but it’s pretty 4b then in the middle it is 4c. I’m scared that if I relax it, it will look tooooooooo stringy and icky. I want a full love with the relaxer if that makes sense. My mum relaxed her hair back in the day and her hair looked quite thin 🤧 so I’m kind of shook
My hairline looks identical to yours, I’m natural and I’m going to go back to perms because wigs/frontals/closures aren’t an option with a low hairline 😢
You inspired me to take care of my relaxed hair more and I actually loving it more now
I love that!! 💜
Perfect. Something to watch while my deep conditioner is working💁🏾♀️💁🏾♀️
Yes girl! Get your deep condition on 💆🏾♀️
I literally watched one of her videos while straightening my hair last night!
Giiiiiiiirrrlll I love your make up in this video! Can't believe no one has mentioned it. And your hair... beautiful. SO beautiful.
That’s so sweet, thank you!
How do you get to have your hair wavy like that? It's beautiful
She probably braided it with a small amount of gel or lots of mousse.
You're hair goals and I just love hearing you talk you're so articulate.

Yes!!! I use the ORS Moisturiser too💜. Just a pea size as anything more and it will weigh my hair down.
