Very informative. Thanks for educating us on the Peabody assessment i have never heard of it plus I want to become a pediatric OT so it’s nice to know 💖
Thank you for making this video! I’ve definitely been struggling trying to get hours during this pandemic. I really needed this advice. Do you have any advice for people whom like myself decide to take a year off before OT school to ensure I have enough experience and seem more competitive among other applicants? Also, did you have have moments where you questioned whether OT was for you in undergrad, considering you don’t get into your course work until grad school?
Some advice would be to get as much experience as possible and try to work in the health field to make your application stronger!! And yes girl of course!! Especially when I was applying! But I honestly stuck with my gut and just never gave up! 😊

Thank you so much for this! Will definitely try these.
No problem! I’m glad you found some gems 😊
My school asked me for 25 hours smh 🤦♀️
That's not too bad! I did 80 in total for mine. Good luck with everything!!

Super helpful!! I just secured my first observation :)
Yay!! That’s amazing!! You’ll do great! 😊 Good luck!
Can you observe an OTA or does it have to be the actual OT? Thank you in advance!
Yes you can observe an OTA for observational hours!!
Thank you! For a minor would which would you recommend gerontology or behavioral neuroscience? Sorry for the bombardment of questions 🤓
Either would be great! Those are not common minors for OT students so it’ll help you stand out!
So helpful, thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!!! :)
