- So I figured with all the love this knife was getting (at the time of this posting anyway), I should probably check it out. Civivi has come into 2021 strong with good designs, build and price. How does the Riffle stack up to its siblings (like the Brazen for example)?

I'm a fan of this style flipper tab.. as it's less likely to catch in pocket or scratch your hand reaching in pocket

I like the Riffle. I can't speak to the micarta because I have not had the knife in hand. I will sometime this year probably. I have it ahead of the Brazen and the Keen Nader. Unsure of where it falls in regard to the Appalachian Drifter. I admit I have underlying reasons for wanting those 2. It isn't because the Brazen is a tanto with recurve because that style is great for getting work done.

For me the flipper is no issue. Never even thought about it.Micarta is thin, but works and feels good to me. Sticky enough.Super sharp. Ergos are awesome. Light weight, hardly know its it your pocket. For the money it is a super winner. Plus it looks great also.
I can see my keys getting stuck in the open hole left when they removed about 20% of the blade. Also since so much blade is gone it seems like a weak point both at the top strap and the hinge point. Very little metal actually attaching it to the handle.

Great review! they could’ve toned down the flipper tab a bit.the micarta is very odd.the flex is from the micarta and milled liners thats why spyderco added full liners on the cruwear pm2 in micarta i think.

Looks like another nice offering from Civivi. I'm still behind on my purchases... want to get the Ortis and really LOVE that Brazen tanto. Yes, the Baklash is one of my Civivi favs. Still wonder about the button lock Elementum. Like the size but only button open??? Any chance you'll be reviewing it?
