What a beautiful bark, I don't think I will be around when my hundreds of JBP are old enough to be that beautiful but I take joy that someone will be thankful I raised the seed for them.
I love your videos sir. It was such a pleasure to video chat with you even though I had to work. You are a true master of Bonsai. It would be my dream to have a tree nursery like yours growing stylized landscape trees. You are much braver than I am with the amount of growth you cut off of you question pine. Cheers!
Sunday breakfast with Peter . No better way to start the day. Stunning result the main arch in the top branch almost frames what looks like a smaller tree with the cascading branch looking like its root structure.
Dzień dobry, Peter - we say in Poland. Thank you, for this video. I have enjoyed it greatly. I love how you exposed the pads by wiring it. Such a great work. Have a lovely Sunday 🌿🌿🌿
Peter, you said question mark, but my first thought was bass cleff. Also confirmed the front! If it were my tree, it would be called "Notation" or some such musical term. I am not sure if it is jazz or classical, but it is certainly singing something!
That is one of the most unique bonsai I've ever come across. I love how much alot of your stuff seems to sway from stereotypical "bonsai" shape so much
I like this style of tree. I understand that what some would call 'true'literati draws inspiration from calligraphy or philosophy as well as nature but I like that as a generalization this style doesn't *appear* formal such that it gives me a feeling like 'odd' trees are OK. I often hesitate to call the container trees I'm training g or experimenting with "bonsai" because there's a lot of baggage to that term. I personally like rather odd looking trees, like jin on deciduous trees or the 'ugly' roots. To me some of my trees look like dancing ladies or soldiers climbing out of their pots.
Another great lesson!! Thank you so much, for teaching so many!! Bonsai for everyone!! It is such an enjoyable hobby....the one really good thing that came out of the plandemic for me. 😉
OMG Peter, I've been watching your videos for so long that I know what you're going to say before you say it ! I have learned so much from you , thank you my friend :)
Love this tree. It's poetry. Inside the hoop there is a bonsai, and if u visualise it in 3d the lower bransch is a streem or a field and in the back stands a bonsai. So the name could be Bonsai? Thank's Peter
omg,Great movement in that trunk, really like what you did there. I thought the front was the other way round at the start of the video also, nice to see how it turned out. TY Peter, more Inspiration !
Mr. Chan. Could you do a video on how to create a literati tree. I'm a person who's learned from you entirely. I would truly love a literati, especially considering you history of the art from one of your books. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
That s me all over master Chan using resources around you to save a few quid "The Potato Peeler" genius. Thanks again for your value and extremely diverse knowledge on bonsai. Love it 👊🌲
This video is a really good video I always like watching this channel so much great information, Pater I don't if you could do a video just on overwatering because watering is the biggest thing people struggle with i just think that people may benefit for that as well, thank you for all these videos.
@@peterchan3100 I mean on just overwatering bonasi tree's because you said in other video that the mean reason for sick tree's is overwatering and I have another look for it in your videos Pater
Reminds me of my friend, the split trunk tree we've talked about previously! Incidentally, I contacted the company email about that tree, but got no answer about whether it was still available :(
Mr. Peter. On my bonsai pomgranat the leaves are starting to dry out. new young appear, but they also begin to dry out .... what it can be, and how to treat it. thanks.
Is anyone having Dr. Zeuss flashbacks? I'm wishing that this tree had more taper and was half as tall. Just my beginner sensibilities shining through, I guess.😁 Cheers, Chris
For my personal taste, the total appearance of this tree is not really "my cup of tea", as the say; it's a bit "too much" for me. However, I appreciate and like to see and hear the detailed process of styling: quite interesting. Almost 300 K abonnees: the Heron is spreading its wings more and more! Keep up the good work, mr Chan and all the best for you and your team.
It's as if the tree has struggled against life's adversity, twisting and turning, and eventually came to defend it's spark of life using it's own trunk, which bears the scars of it's battle, represented by the jins.

How interesting to see everyone all over the world watching and learning bonsai from big Peter san! Bonsai for everyone!

what a dramatic tree, just lovely.
i'm learning so much about not just bonsai, but horticulture in general from your videos. really love your content. thank you for making these for us.
It is obvious he is working at making bonsai available for everyone. Thank You
Just beautiful
Thanks Peter. A potato peeler for woodwork - genius! Although my Domestic Management may well not approve.
Great bonsai work
Looks like that lovely tree is even more lovely, after a haircut, shave and manicure!
Love that piece. Its a work of art!
I really like how you've used the curve of the question mark as a frame for the greenery.
Astonishing tree! very beautiful and mysterious atmosphere as a result of the spiral curve and the minimalist aesthetic.
Beautiful Bunjin 😘..can't wait for the next one. Thx for sharing Peter 👍.
Love this one 👌💚

Wonderful video as usual Peter 😊

Between what the tree gives and what Peter takes from it, there remains a marvel.

I thought bass clef as well. The foliage pads could be the two dots.
These are beautiful steel tools on the table.
Now it looks like a drawn clowd! Awesome!
You can call it the riddler, very mysterious and questionable. Turned out quite amazing. Looking forward to seeing your next video.
Great work Peter, the curve of the trunk frames that little branch beautifully!!
This tree reminds me of that nightmare before Christmas’ curly hill.
Absolutely beautiful by the way!
Every piece of your work conveyed a lot of new useful information . Thanks for it. Regards from Imphal

Just in time! I just got one very tall and young one from wild and not too sure what shape I should bend it to make the most beautiful one.

Great tree Peter!

peter u should try covering the soil before the pruning so you dont need to clean out any needles

Good Morning Louise
Do u think it's OK to thin out foliage on a cedar or pine in the autumn?
Even tho it won't grow until spring.
In Autumn you should only remove the old dead needles.
How about naming it "the riddler tree" 😄
Halo broter.... i like
What time in the year would you do this?
Early March

Definitivamente el frente debe ser del otro lado, pero Ud. eso lamentablemente no lo ve. El tronco, la linea va para el fondo y eso es contradictorio.
