@@3rdGenGuy sweet, ive been trying to find some good builds like yours, I also just bought a 3rd gen z28 and getting it autocross ready is my goal, im definitely going to be doing the same break system upgrade you did to yours. Love to see your content and I appreciate you writing back to me
@@ph3n1x77 I suggest reading the book "autocross to win"" it's available online for free or a $15 paper back. very useful book to read before modifying cars for handling
I'm surprised you didn't have to completely remove the bump stop as I see most people do. And I'm wondering how close you are to the lower control arms...?
with the right back spacing on 18s you can get away without touching the bump stops. BUT when ur axle goes into full droop it will rub, so don't want to scrape up wheels if your car is up on jack stands grounded down bump stops gets me plenty of room for safety.
watch part 3 for the back Spacing info. 6in BS with a 16s probably won't work in the rear. something like 5.25-5.75 would be the ballpark for a 10in wheel.
One thing you didnt cover in this video is if the tire and wheel clears when one side is lifted up while the other is down. It's important to test for road deviation (think pot holes or climbing curbs) and body roll around corners A rear axle tilt like that is going to bring the top of the wheel in further than you think and could really bite you in the ass
it is a consideration I tested this and the angle required to get wheels to rub is EXTREME. no way you can do that during normal driving unless you are driving on a "frame twister" lol
Not bad video. Just a suggestion, when doing your voiceover try to make it more natural and not sound so much like mark Zuckerberg when you are narrating. Good work though.
Yo awesome video. It's so much better *seeing* the work being done instead of searching forums.
There's something genuinely satisfying about watching a time lapse video of a BFH mod happing. LOL

To fit 305 series on my car I had to remove the bump stop completely

What is the back spacing on the rims you selected ? I'm considering a 16 x 10" rim with a 6" backspacing..

I want to buy those HAWKS IROC Replica 17x9 IROC wheels. Can still fit some pretty large brake systems in there and get some nice 275-40-17 tires.
How did you roll the rear fenders? What size tires are those?
i have a fender rolling video on my channel
Does anyone know what fuse for the headlights are for a 92 camaro
