The reason why some people said it can only carry 10 rounds of HE-VT is because they forgot to resupply it to the max amount, so they need to open the modification screen and resupply it. Probably a bug but there's that.

Justin you should've swapped to the HE-VT round while dealing with squishy targets and SPAAs, they'll get overpressured saving you a lot of ammo.

You mind explaining overpressure a bit? I used to use heat on squishies and it would hull break most of the time. Nowadays I'm aware that there is overpressure but I don't know how it works very well.

Open topped tanks like even an M10 can be overpressure from "normal" caliber HE rounds, which is kinda BS 😅
@@liamboyle9199 I appreciate the response but I more meant how it works in war thunder. Like with hullbreak, I could shoot the mounted 50 cal on top of an m18 with a heat shell and somehow it got hull broken.
With HE and overpressure, I assume I actually need to aim? What for? Does it work often? Etc. Etc.
@@Shirvani28 overpressure essentially means if you have an HE round, trap shot can become viable. originally, if you shoot a medium tank at the copula, it just explode there and nothing else, but with overpressure, when the round hit the copula and explode, the blast energy from the HE explosion will now travelling through that penetration, dealing more damage to the whole crew inside even if its fragmentations don't hit any of them. that means HE now can not only kill light vehicles, but can also kill heavy tanks if you know where to aim for, like how an HE round kill a Tiger at the front in one shot by shooting at the commander port.
There’s one thing which I noticed and why I personally also enjoy watching your videos so much.
Of course the great commentary, voice and skill aside.
What sets you off from a fair few other UA-camrs, especially the big ones, is that you “just play the game”. You bring a lineup into the match, don’t have everything maxed out and every crew at lvl150, you capture points and generally play like a teammate I’d love to have on my team, it feels like you play for the victory, not the most kills or the most amazing UA-cam intro kill (Those things just come naturally)
The new PUMA reminds me of when the IS-6 where added. Absolute disaster gameplay at that tier. Played a few hours yesterday. My whole team was destroyed by those things, game after game after game.

You are shut at the game, and I heavily recommend you play the begleitpanzer for yourself, it is not the PUMA which eventually needs to move upto 9.0.
And also the BMP-2M is at 8.7 don't forget that, which is better than the begleitpanzer.
It has better missiles
Rapid fire 4 atgms of 1200mm pen
Gen 2 thermals while the begleit has gen1
Can fire on the move, while the begleit has to stop to fire
The begleit has proximity fuse, however the bmp-2m has proximity fuse missile for aircraft and helicopters
The bmp2m has smoke grenades while the begleit doesn't.
Stop being biased and play another tech tree that isn't America. Freeaboo.
Actually there's a way to get to that area that they "blocked" on jungle for both sides, on Justin's side you have to go to a little spot that if you climb can get you to the other side of the tank traps.
Edit: I can't exactly tell where it is but you should find it on the left side of the road that's blocked by tank traps, there is a little hill and if you climb it you're on the other side, I've done it with and Ariete P without engine modifications so at all mbts should be able to use that path, don't know about ww2 vehicles though. Hope that was helpful
Bud I know what you mean. I was shooting 10.0 and trying to use the XM975 and I live up in Inspirada and the Network just doesn’t want to work out her either. I must have looked strange sending out Roland’s and having them bob and weave all over the sky 🤣👍🏻
One thing that's bit me a few times: the proxy rounds have a 500 meter arming distance, meaning if you shoot at a chopper RIGHT on top of you it has to be a direct hit.

He just has test drive vehicles. They disappear after a month and he has to grind like normal to get them back.
I dont know if you noticed but after the missile gets fired the launcher now goes into the hull to rearm, before to would just face upwards and rearm also they moved the missiles from in the back of the tank to behind the gunner and commander. Still my main 8.7 tank XD
Hint for you no this map, the g-line part isnt blocked for your spawn, you can pass it on the mountain close to your spawn lagoon, even with the maus
You can still move to 6 o'clock on the map through the f6 hill on the jungle map. They didn't block all routes

You were questioning the Italian as that you were shooting at, the commander is in the gun and the gunner is off in the back where the computer systems is, I believe the commander shoots if the battery dies

It's not blocked of get some speed and your over it , some parts are left open , I've gotten on it from both sides , with light to mbt to spaa
That part of the map is crucial for the overall control of the game. Who controlls the hill, controlls the advance to the C cap. Who controlls the C cap usually wins the game because A and B are "handed over" to both teams for free so the only legitimate battle is for the C cap point. This change just made the map the most unballanced, one-sided map in the game. I used to love this map, now I hate playing it because I use that spot literally always, and now when I can use it I feel it is unfair to the other team and when I can't use it I see my team loosing the game a lot more because we can not use it. Utter bullshit. If you want to remove it, remove it completely, snail.

It's annoying in a way because it's going to go up in BR. 9.0/9.3 is already jam packed for Germany. Currently it's a great A10 killer because no giveaway with radar warning.

I had to go back to 6.0 on the Israeli grind. 7.3 us just broken right now with getting constant 8.3 uptiers. 7.3 to 8.0 was my favorite br in the game but it's pretty much dead to me right now. Makes me sad. I hope they atleast fix the Puma asap.

My idea of ammo management, is 78 APCBC, 20 SAPHEI, 50 HE-VT
If you can only carry 10 rounds you have to restock them, probably what happend is that if you already had the bagel when it could only carry 10 HE-VT and you had ammo auto-restock for some reason the game would only give you up to 10 rounds automatically, and even when you went to select ammo quantities in battle it would show 10 max. As I said to solve this you gotta go to the mods menu go to the “broken” ammo type and jusy buy more

I usually bring 84 rounds cause I don't wanna be an idiot getting ammo rack'd left and right, so the extra ammo is just a bait to get killed even easier (ammo rack)
I get far less kills because the APHE is gone, they might as well added an APFSDS round with 27mm of pen

Justing I've never got disappointed so fast in my life, going from the previous video to this, Bagel boi was 8.3, and then it got moved to 8.7 (for some reason???) and then got the buff, it was meant to be deceiving so that people who have the memory span of 1 week would forget that it got up br'ed and complain about it, in the end, bringing it to an even HIGHER battle rating cause "community said so"

The old speed was like 18 degrees, 20 expert. Still good, but now with 47 degrees, its basically an AA.

literally the only vehicle making it unplayable right now is the PUMA and thats getting moved up past 9.0 for sure, the begleitpanzer 57 is pretty balanced at 8.7

Agree, the PUMA is shitting all over other tanks at 8.3, especially when u get uptiered in a 7.3 vehicle to face the invulnerable. While we are still using 1960s tanks at 8.3 , PUMA has everything from the top tier. That shit takes no skills to play with.
@L Yea, not sure why most IFVs are fighting MBTs produced decades ago, they put the IFV at lower tiers to face MBTs directly, that makes no logic to for what IFVs are designed for. Btw, despite the begleit is less threatening at 8.7, it's quite cancerous since everyone could play it for free.

They have apfsds that can penetrate the same as the bagel's normal ap solid shot, + they have better trajectory, better angled pen amd better post pen damage, aswell as better firerate, oh and don't forget about the better thermals too.
I liked much more normal ammunition with 95 mm pen and explosive mass than stab and bigger ammunition magazines
these damn things (and the puma) are the reason why my Israel grind is a fucking pain. I have an almost 3:1 kd with the Merkava but a 40% win-rate. Everybody’s playing Germany from like 8.3-9.7 with complete lineups.
The begleit can't even penetrate the merkava mk2d at the front with it's missile or autocannon.

It’s that every single fuck is playing Germany 8.3-9.7 with full lineups while my team just gets obliterated the first 5 minutes. How can I not fucking die when my team is gone and i’m surrounded by 3 PUMAs and 2 Begels. Get the point?
@@katerinamalkova1126 I was mostly and constantly playing USA 10.0 and USA 9.3 lineup before the update with the xm1, xm8, m3a3, mbt70, m247, xm803, a4e for 9.3 while m1 abrams, m1128, m3a3, xm8, ags, xm975, a4e for 10.0 before also adding the new a-10a early and LAV-AD to my lineup.
Currently I have switched fully to my German 9.0/9.3 lineup which includes a talismaned with GE Leopard 1a5 with ace crew and everything maxed out with crew level 150, begelitpanzer with expert crew and crew level 122, m48 super with expert crew again and level 98 crew, radkampfwagen90 with level 149 nearly 150 crew with ace crew bought by GE after getting half way and the gepard wich I don't normally use since at this br it won't do much but still have it just incase, ontop of that I used to bring in a g91 before the missile nerf, but I don't bring in cas anymore since after the nerf the only good cas for Germany is at 11.0 or 6.7.
I'm also playing with one of my friends in a squad, he has a full lineup aswell and we basically position ourselves and flank getting 6-8 kills each or sometimes only 2-4 since our team is filled with level 100 sweats.
I will most likely keep this up until I research the puma which I have nearly done without premium account in just 1 1/2 days, then spade it. After that I would grind the new challenger 2 or all of israel in a month maybe.
What i ment by situational awareness is that no matter how good the players on the enemy side are, you can always counter it by positioning yourself well in a map, and also holding key choke points, were even if outnumbered you can keep a whole squad of tanks at bay allowing your teammates to flank and annihilate them.
I have bought the merkava already myself, I have only played 3 matches in it and so far have a total of 8 kills with it. It is quite slower than an abrams, but it has very good survivability and turret armour aswell as turret rotation speed. I can even see it go up in br as a result.
Given enough time the PUMA ifv will go upto 8.7. Then it will go upto 9.0 with all it's bugs fixed.
@@cqpp I think everybody just wants to try the begel buff and the PUMA right now so grinding anything that isn’t germany at 9.0 is a pain (it’s also where most premiums are), true that most sweaty bois are at the PUMA’s br right now and facing a horde of them with one tank and maybe a backup is just ridiculous. Germany arguably has the best 8.3-9.7 lineup right now and it shows. Especially when players flock to it. Seeing as there’s no alternative to grind Israel since there’s really no other option besides 8.7-9.3 it’s really a pain. Especially when you don’t have a lineup. I was thinking of just waiting out the German storm for like a week and get back to it but that would just be wasting time. It just gets really fucking frustrating playing that br when you’re anything but Germany.
@@katerinamalkova1126 yeah, I would probably advise you to ignore anything from 7.3-8.7 if you are not playing Germany. Till most of the sweatlords move on to another vehicle.
Since PUMA is a very well known vehicle, I doubt the spam will die out soon, the only difference would be that, the worser players night finally reach the vehicle after a few weeks, so it should either be easier or harder depending on if the veteran players will keep playing it till it goes up in br or if they move in to grind another vehicle immediately.
While I don't have much room to talk, I hate these meta sweat lords with a passion, they jump from vehicle to vehicle and milk the ever living shit out of it, till there's nothing left.
I would suggest you to grind or play Germany atm aswell or play another nation but 9.3 br or over so you can easily farm these PUMA's. Using something with apfsds and good armour or skip this br bracket, and go play 9.7 till it dies down abit.
Since the crafting event is coming, about 20% of these sweatlords are going to move to play and farm bombers by space climbing like 14 hours a day for 20 days straight so they can unlock the event vehicles faster and sell them for a high price before buying them again and keeping atleast 3 to sell in 2 years time when the value increases.
These type of players bring about a very toxic environment in war thunder. And even I don't have much room to talk here since I also use the event to make lot's of money and space farming.

It's a neat little trick meant to bait shots to the thickest part of the turret. Because usually, most players will immediately go for your barrel/breach. You'd be surprised at how well it works!

Oohhh that's why everyone Play with them.
There is no doubt in my mind that the Puma will be going up in BR. It has an APS, crazy survivability, APFSDS, great thermals, and great mobility. There is no reason for it to be 8.3, especially since most vehicles it will face only have HEATFS as their best round (which the Puma's armor completely negates). Currently, the only way to handle a Puma from the front is to knock out the gun and ammunition. However, the Puma can still spot you in that time, meaning the enemy team will know where you are. They can also just repair, retreat to the nearest cap point, and reload their APFSDS belts. This is a direct repeat of the Strf. 9040B situation. We will most likely see it receive a BR increase to 9.0, and then it will either stay there (very comfortably, I might add) or be moved up to 9.3 at a later date.
The Begeleit seems to be in this weird spot at the moment. It's not blatantly overpowered like the PUMA, but it is very much overpowered at its current BR. The Begeleit, in my opinion, is arguably in the same boat as the Puma in that it has noticeable tradeoffs that make the two IFVs relatively equivalent. The Begeleit has gen 1 thermals, mediocre survivability (for a light tank), but a great selection of rounds (57mm APCBC, 57mm HE-VT) and an I-TOW launcher. All of these, in my opinion, roughly equate the two IFVs. We will certainly see the Begeleit get a BR increase to 9.0, but, much like the Puma, it may take a little longer for it to go up to 9.3.
We will certainly see what happens later down the line, and I personally think these two vehicles belong at the same BR. Wherever they end up, they will be a powerhouse combo. They will both serve as ways to get into CAS and they will certainly be very popular regardless of their BRs. Personally, I would love to play both of them at 9.0, but I know they would be most balanced at 9.3 with the Bradley, Dardo, etc. Not to mention Germany 9.3 is already very strong with the Kpz-70 and the Rad 90, so adding the PUMA and Begeleit to that lineup will be amazing.
PUMA is completely broken now, ofc you can shoot the left side of LFP knocking out the driver and gunner with one hit, but you can do that only with APFSDS and some APDS, its even more robust than the Merkava. Strongly suggest Gayjin to completely remove the vehicle ASAP
@@user-ef7ie5lf6j There's no need to remove it. It just needs to go up in BR where it can face vehicles that have APFSDS that can defeat its armor. Nearly all vehicles at 9.0 and 9.3 have rounds that can do that. It should be allowed to face vehicles that will struggle against it (ie. 8.0s or 8.3s facing it in an uptier), and it should have to struggle against other vehicles (ie. 10.0s or 10.3s facing it in a downtier).
Most 8.3 vehicles can defeat the PUMA's armor, but they can't reliably kill it thanks to the PUMA's maneuverability and stabilization. Most 9.3 vehicles can defeat the PUMA without much issue (it's mostly an even fight). Most 10.3 vehicles can defeat a PUMA without issue (although the PUMA can still put up a fight). I've seen this on multiple occasions by bringing the PUMA up to 9.0 and 9.3 myself. It's perfect at that BR range.
The belgeitpanzer is absolutely not a 9.3 vehicle.
It currently only has I-TOW missiles while the m3a3 and dardo carry TOW-2 and TOW-2B missiles. Ontop of that the dardo and m3a3 have better thermals. The only trade off is that the begleit solid shot ap pen is slightly greater than the m3a3 and dardo apfsds pen, however that is negated by the fact that apfsds has much better angled pen, much better trajectory as it is much more faster, and the m3a3 and dardo can shoot more than 2 missiles at a time while the begleit only 1 before it reloads.
Also begleit doesn't have smoke grenades, while the m3a3 bradley and dardo both have smoke grenades.
The begleitpanzer in any way shape or form is not 9.3 material, it can go to 9.0 after it receives it's smokes and 9.3 maybe if it gets it's apfsds.
@@user-ef7ie5lf6j BMP-2M, BMD-4, BMP-3 are all at 8.7 with 1200mm pen rapid fire missiles in the move for the bmp-2m, while the bmd-4 trades armour for mobility and can still fire on the move but has less missiles.
Currently the PUMA can go up to 8.7, and if the bug fixes are done then it can go to 9.0 without missiles obviously.
@@cqpp You're forgetting one major detail. The Begeleit carries one of the best HE-VT rounds in the game with no limit and it has a laser rangefinder to back that up. It's one of the best vehicles for SPAA in the game right now. This in combination with its new stabilizer and the I-TOW make it worthy of 9.0 at the very least, 9.3 at the most. I agree that it wouldn't be the best 9.3, but I could easily see Gaijin moving it up to 9.3 from 9.0 if they were to give it anything else (like smoke or APFSDS like you mentioned).
Also, for the BMPs, it's been clear for a while that they're untertiered. The BMP-2 should probably move up to 8.7, the BMP-3 and BMD-4 should probably move up to 9.0, and the BMP-2M should be moved back up to 9.3 (where it was when it was introduced to the game).
Also the PUMA is 100% capable of going up to 9.3 without many issues. The only issue I would see is the stock belt being absolutely terrible. Otherwise, it should be at 9.3 with the Strf. 9040B.

Another buff to the Russian/German OP tech trees that didn't really need it. It takes all of 2 minutes before I'm spawn-camped by the BIG TWO (Russ/Germ) in most of the mid/top tiers...and that is BEFORE this latest patch. Yes, A-10 is now in game and it's fodder for SAM/SPAAG like we'd said it would be. Can't watch the whole video as I'm not into the baby-seal clubbing that this turned out to be.
Play another tech tree freeaboo, with your OP a-10. The a-10 performs very good with the 2 aim-9l's. I have the A-10 early at 9.7. Not sure what the fuck you are doing with it.

The VT round bug is a bug because Failjin nerfed the Begleit to be only able to carry 10 VT rounds ages ago and then they changed it back. But they didnt fix it for people that got the nerf, so you have to manually buy the additional VT ammo in order to take more than 10 into battle. Its a joke.

I remember when I was grinding the Begle way before it got stabilized. And even that I thought it was "OP" vehicle. Taking down both ground and air down easily. Only think that I would say kept it balance at 8.3 and then 8.7 was that unstable gun where if you would start spam shooting at something your gun was jumping everywhere. But know when it's stabilized I think it should go up in BR. Maybe 9.0 would be fine. PUMA is way different thing. If you don't have APFSDS amd you do t see it from front so you can shoot where driver is, there is really small chance of killing it from other sides and it having all that and other thins. I think it should go up minimum 9.7/10.0 but I think PUMA will be hard to balance eather way. I think what would balance it if they didn't give it non stop 400 round belt and gave ot that reload between each belt. For CV9040s you have 1st stage ammo of 24 rounds and it takes long time before you fully replenish it, same with Japanese Type 89. Bradley, Dardo and Warrior needs to reload between each belt also. BMP-2,3 and BMD-4 have one non stop belt, but half of it is APDS and other is mix what ever you decide and can be easily killed. When you compare other IFVs to German one, the German after this update has the Best IFVs in the game now
I agree on the puma needing a first ammo stage like the Swedish IFV instead of that non stop firing bullshit it is now, they are easy to kill if you shoot at the right spot but that barrel breaking spam with the puma is kind of ridiculous right now

This is one of the best IFVs now. Strf 9040 levels of pen but an AP. And on Jungle… I’m glad they are blocking off that bottom part of the map with blocks and trees. That area is incredibly annoying to deal with.
Exactly why it should be left in. It is a very tactical spot in the game and makes you really earn that C cap point if you want to win the game. Blocking it on one side just gives the other team a huge tactical, unfair advantage from the very beginning of the match.

There is not, it's a SAP round (semi-armor piercing) which works half the time as a HE round and the other half as a AP round that fail to pen.
Worst type of round for a ground vehicle...
the old one had upwards of 90-95 pen at point blank so it's a really big downgrade

well in mid tier German is getting a lot of buff recently. But for the low tier especially SPAA and plane cannon, they nerf the armor piercing belt :(
