      @@MikeDayConcrete We use the same, Z-Poolforms, and occasionally pour up against natural stone.

    Is it important to seal a concrete pool deck in a southern climate? The Z forms are easy to use. Concrete contractors in my area did not know these Z forms existed. I bought them for my free form pool, installed them around d the pool, and at the edge of Keystone blocks. 3/4 of the pool is out of the ground, and I have a bar area at one end radius of the pool. Keystone block steps, retaining walls all have the Z form edges. Great product to use. Your crew does great work. Awesome

    I like your videos. I've seen a lot of them on poring concrete and enjoyed this immensely because its about poring around a pool. Wouldn't knee pads be safer?

    • @thefirstkingridge
      @thefirstkingridge 2 роки тому

      Knee pads are always a safe and great idea. But they're uncomfortable as hell.. I don't care what type you buy, they're all uncomfortable.

    Hello Mr Day from Mid Hudson Valley NYS. Novice DIYr. Been tracking you for sometime and tried re small scale projects with your tips and advice. Thank you
    In this video I noticed 04183+right+stair+return+panel on the edging of the pool deck. My in ground pool 2nd hand ( brought with house and installed 1972 is missing those panels completely all the way around. Yeah that would be a “ah sht” moment
    Hahahaha!
    Question I have is how are they mounted and what screws did you use?
    Also are they actually wood and do they need to be sealed ?
    The present copping is loose,cracked ready to be replaced.
    Apologies for such a long comment. Any response would be great. Keep on with the great vids thank you for posting.
    Much more success to you and God bless!

    What percentage of fall do you give it ? Or is it level?

  • @molitovv

    Would it be possible to do a bit of a guide on cutting concrete to prevent cracking? Different methods, how many cuts to make and where and how deep? How the thickness of the concrete affects this also… Would be a great help.

      Have you tried these Kenny? I used styrofoam before I used these, I think the Z-poolforms are much easier to use.
