He was, is and will be the best front man ever in the history of Music. There will be who will be close, but you can not be as him, the LEGEND! RIP Freddie you are and will be missed!
The first time I saw this video, I thought, "Freddie is singing to us from Heaven.". The message is simple yet powerful. God bless you, Freddie, you are sorely missed.
What most amazing besides Freddie's passion, this man never took singing lessons, his passion was his voice just beautiful, I miss Freddie as we all do. RIP DARLING😇💋
I have sooooo much respect for Freddie, he was insanely smart, empathetic, talented in singing, writing, played multiple instruments, could sing any genre and feel at home doing it, he was talented in painting and drawings. Roger Taylor and May said it the best when they said of Freddie, "he was a one off".
Fortunately I was already around when Freddie was alive, great memories I will never forget. Miss him since the day he died, in this day and age with that kind of music even more. But not only that, besides being a brilliant musician and an unmatched vocalist, he was a great human being. Decent, kind, caring loving and loyal. Very generous. And the most beloved frontman of a rock group. Still is.
Dave Clark and his band came out at the same time as the Beatles and were moderately famous. He and Freddie became good friends working on this together. I'm pretty sure he was at Freddie's house the day he passed away. Beautiful song. Glad Dave found it and released it. Love, Love, Freddie. I nearly cried hearing this. I've loved him for over 45 years (yes I'm that old!) and never stopped.
"I'M NOT GOING TO BE A ROCK STAR" "I'M GOING TO BE A LEGEND" - FREDDIE MERCURY He never dies because he lives in his songs and our hearts. LOVE YOU FREDDIE MERCURY ❤️
I agree with you. I have heard the original a million times, but this version is so beautiful. When you have piano and Freddie, you don't need anything else. I listened to this in headphones for the first time and cried at how beautiful Freddie's voice is here. Another thing that moved me, is that Freddie is standing among clouds and wearing all white, like he is singing to us from Heaven. I am so glad they released this!
Do "In My Defense", from the same Dave Clark musical...I have been a fan if Queen since I was little and I can honestly say, that "In My Defense" is my all time favorite Freddie Mercury song EVER...❤️
As if he is talking to us from beyond. How relevant is this song to what is happening today? The timing of this is God like. And Freddie, omg Freddie. I'll leave it at that because to use man made words to describe that voice...just not enough.
Hi there! Thanks for your great review and love your true appreciation for the maestro! Yes ... this song is sang with such passion and soul and also it is a very powerful message to us all. Dave Clark deserves a huge thank you ... he searched for the tapes for years and then spent love, time, and great skill to put this together so we can all wonder at it!! Good wishes to you from England!
I've said it for 40 years. His range, depth and personality are not often replicated. That soul is what a lot of today's music is missing. Tech n9ne, king iso, jelly roll, struggle, mini thin, hopsin, watsky, Tom macdonald and crypt (et AL) ... Not just bars, but truth and meaning too
From the UK 🇬🇧. Hi L, thanks for this. At the moment I’m struggling. Born with Sickle Cell Anaemia and been told I might not see the end of the year. I’m 44 years old. Whilst feeling so ill, I’m literally planing my funeral because I have no family I’m doing it myself with the help of my friends. This song couldn’t have spoken to me more. The line that says we’ve got to put our trust in each other hit me hard. I’m putting my trust in the various medical teams and my amazing GP, my friends who have become my family, myself and in God. I’m a Christian; don’t go to any church so my relationship with God is very personal. Thanks for this. All my life music has played a huge part in helping me cope with my health, relationships etc but since March I’ve really relied on Freddie and Queen’s catalogue of music to help me deal. As I listened to this for the first time with you I’m in floods of tears but I’m uplifted by this song not just because of the lyrics but because of Freddie. It’s a weird dichotomy I know but that’s Freddie.
Freddie had the most powerful, beautiful voice ever!! Thank you for all of your reaction videos that you have done with Queen and for Freddie. You're amazing and I adore your channel!! 🤘🏻😊❤🎸🎤🎼💔👑
Today is his birthday..his voice brings tears to my eyes. I truely love him. I remember him alive. I was 12 when they had a hit in the U.S..it was Killer Queen. "A night at the opera" made them huge here. I feel blessed to have been around in the 70's. Music rocked! Happy Birthday Freddie! Rest Peacefully..you truely are a Legend like you said you'd be...💖😘🎶
It was a musical that Dave Clark made and Freddie did a few songs. The original song was found just recently so Dave had to have it come out. I will send the article that came out for this song. Its beautiful as no one can sing it like Freddie
I hope you are continuing on your queen journey, I love your reactions. PLEASE do the 1st 2 songs from Wembley ‘86. One vision (which I know you love) & straight into tie your mother down ( which you also love). 🥰🥰
Freddie Mercury had a magical voice. This is probably one of my new favorite songs of Queen/Freddie's. It's been stuck in my head fro the past few days, and I'm glad!
I have to say, you hit the nail on the head when you said Freddie is truly missed. To lost a legend like him is something that the world really needs right now, someone to just sit back and lose yourself in their talent... FREDDIE KEEP ROCKING WITH THE ANGELS 👼
This couldn't have been released at a better time, in my humble opinion. An entire new generation has embraced Queen and Freddie Mercury after being recently introduced to their catalogue of brilliant music... meanwhile I'm among those who've loved this band for decades. The movie, and this priceless gem of a song are something new for us as well. Goosebumps. The angelic purity and raw emotion in this recording are priceless.
I’ve been listening to Queen since the beginning as a kid, and I would go out and buy each new album on release. Isn’t it great that Freddie still has this impact on old and new fans?
Estoy llorando.
You have seen me commenting on your reactions for a while. I really enjoy much of what you do, but when you react to Queen, I'm right there and waiting. This video of Freddie is wonderful. Thank you once again for giving all of us Queen fans some joy. Still think the yellow jacket would look good on you too.
My thoughts while watching Freddie: "DAMN!!!!!!!! I can't believe I'll never get to see this guy live or meet him!! This sucks! But the song is gorgeous!!!!"
I feel the same as you L about Freddie. When I saw this, I loved it but it also made me miss Freddie so much. A beautiful man and great talent taken from this earth too soon.
He truly was an awesome amazing gifted singer! His voice is what calms me down when I am worked up and he is better then any medicine. Love Freddie’s voice he had no idea how loved he was and how loved he still is. 🥰🥰🥰
Ah Freddie! What can I say that hasn’t already been said? The immortal Freddie at his finest! My generation was truly blessed to have had him in our lives, just wish it had been for far, far longer!
Awhile ago, I had nicknamed Freddie "A Masterpiece In Human Form" because he is like a painting in a museum that you cannot stop looking at, appreciating each color, each brushstroke as you take it all in & then realize it is something almost indescribable, people have to see it themselves to understand its beauty, it's uniqueness. He mesmerizes us as we listen to his voice, so unique, so precious, sung so passionately. We mourn his loss every day of our lives so when we see men & women of yr generation astounded by how unique Freddie's voice is & hear his passionate singing, it makes our sadness a little less. The fact that new generations like you are so incredulous that his voice & delivery are so unique is such a wonderful thing for we who have been following him since the 1970s. Seeing u & others literally entranced while listening to his amazing vocal range & recognizing his passion as he sings & performs reassures us that his legacy will likely never be forgotten. It has been 30 yrs & each decade brings new surges in Queen record sales. So Thank you for trusting us years ago getting u started loving these talented men of Queen. Brian May is a musical genius on that guitar, having built the Red Special as a teen with his Dad so no other guitar sounds like his. His mastery of it is truly mindboggling. Do you know he has his Doctorate & is a Dr. Of Astrophysics? Yup, Dr. Brian May found the time to fit that into his life too. He also performed for the Queen of England on the roof, alone, (a few instruments backing him of course)on top of Windsor Castle years ago at her request & awarded him one of the highest Honors for a citizen, a C.B.E. Medal of Honor for his contribution of music to ENGLAND & the world. Brian has been posting little Micro Concerts online almost every evening since the Corona Virus has kept us quarantined in our homes, just to give us devoted fans something to look forward to because he can't perform in outside groups now. How generous is that! And Roger Taylor is in my not-so-humble opinion the most passionate drummer I've ever come across, unequivocally the best. He also has a wonderful singing voice as I'm sure u have realised by now. John never appears, he retired & has no intention of ever appearing with Queen again. He suffered the loss of his best friend when Freddie passed & stated "there is NO QUEEN WITHOUT FREDDIE". He apparently suffered severe depression when Freddie died, he was his mentor & encouraged John to write songs which he had never had the confidence to do. As it turned out, John wrote 4 of the Queen MEGA HITS!! ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST WAS THE ONLY QUEEN SONG THAT EVER CHARTED #1 IN AMERICA !! So, again.... A MASTERPIECE IN HUMAN FORM is my description of the unforgettable legend, Freddie Mercury....do you agree? Sailor Suzie from Oregon
He was so theatrical... putting his ALL into everything! You can just FEEL the passion he had for every note he sang! Such a tragic loss to this world; even today. His music, love and passion will live on FOREVER ♥️
Totally with you on this...Freddie gives me Goosebumps like no other...I have loved this voice, this man, since the beginning of Queen!!! Freddie is simply the BEST ! God Bless his soul in heaven, he is so missed on earth !!! Rock on Freddie.
Get up to date! !!! This man, Freddie Mercury is an amazing talent be never to be forgotten. He is part of our history. We can not ever give up. He is eternity.
When I saw this video 2 weeks back, I cried like a baby as I did when I heard he died in 1991. I almost feel like he's NOT GONE. An incredible VOCAL RANGE; an incredible TALENT; there is NO one from my generation of some of the gr8 groups, you simply are THE BEST~~LOVE YOU FREDDIE~~
Sad not to have more from him... but never lost... he will be remembered forever... especially by those of us who were privileged to see and meet him :)
Freddie has a unique way of making you really feel something when he sings. Like he’s singing directly to you from his heart and soul... there aren’t many out there that can do that in the way he does...at least not for me. Agree with your reaction 100%... it was spot on!
Chills!!! Am I the only one that smiles when Freddie sings?? I'm actually happy that it was just released cuz it's like introducing Freddie to us all over again...I hope y'all understand what I'm trying to say. At the end of the vid with the light and the smoke shining down on him he looks like an angel. 🧡🧡🧡🧡 Thank you for reacting to this!!! I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed day my friend!!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂 🐧🐧
I'm in my office in the UK, swaying to a recording of you in the USA, and Freddie from over 30 years ago! Just helps to prove the internet isn't all bad after all!
I have honestly totally run out of descriptive words for Freddie Mercury....Beautiful, Amazing, creative, a voice of the angels, talented, original, musical, best frontman, epic, timeless, legend, happy, sad....and so many more. He is honestly THE ONLY person alive/dead that I would choose to spend 24 hours with, he is THE one. Sounds crazy, but he was so smart, so much before his time, I would love for him to see the world today. What would he think/say? Miss Freddie! ❤️❤️
Freddie released Time in 1986. This is the same song, just with a new title and is only piano and Freddie. I loved it back then and it's nice people think it's new I guess. His voice will always be my favorite.💖
*_"I just want to pack as much of life and fun, having a good time, as much as I can, within the years I have"_* ~ Freddie Mercury #livinglifetothefull
The day he died was one of those days when you remember where you were when you heard it. Freddie, Elvis Presley and John Lennon were 3 that I remember. Freddie's death had a bigger impact on me than the others. 1991, 1978 and 1980 respectively.
I get goosebumps when I hear this song I too didn't want it to end it is on repeat I can't get enough. I agree this world lost the greatest vocalist to soon.
He was, is and will be the best front man ever in the history of Music.
There will be who will be close, but you can not be as him, the LEGEND!
RIP Freddie you are and will be missed!
That voice ,that power ,unbelievable !
One of Freddie's greatest ever vocals. Just extraordinary.
I love your reaction to the best of the best... will love him forever . Just keep listening to Freddie.
This voice is from God and unique. It makes me cry and makes me a better person. He was a trueLEGEND of the century.
The first time I saw this video, I thought, "Freddie is singing to us from Heaven.". The message is simple yet powerful. God bless you, Freddie, you are sorely missed.
OMG!! He could literally sing ANYTHING!! I love this!!
This guy was a true legend the best frontman that ever was
Not just a frontman. A writer and instrument player. Created many of Queen’s melodies and lyrics. Makes him even better.
Can't argue with that mate...
What most amazing besides Freddie's passion, this man never took singing lessons, his passion was his voice just beautiful, I miss Freddie as we all do. RIP DARLING😇💋
I always look at Freddie in awe, and I’ve probably watched this 10 times
imagine having such amazing voice like that.

Outof this solar system. Pure Genius!
You are not the only one who saddens when you see Freddy sing and perform. He is missed!

THE BEST VOCALS EVER!!! BRILLIANT SEXY TALENT...REAL TALENT!! LOVE LOVE LOVE FREDDIE 💛💛💛
Dave Clark said he lost the reel of this, looked for it for years and just recently found it. thank god for that.
Alexis R thank God! I know that Dave Clark and Freddie were very good friends, but I had no idea he also managed to come across this lost treasure.
Thank you

Just a piano and Freddie. Beautiful. Thank you Mr. Clark. Thanks Lamar.
The pianist is Mike Moran, Freddie's close friend and personal pianist.
This brings a tear to my eye 😢
It got up to #17 on trending! So this is what it feels like when Freddie Mercury releases a new song ...
All us younger guys get a taste of what it must've been like
If you were a true freddie mercury fan you would know its not a new song
Uxziu _ Is there a point to your comment? Do you feel important now dictating the rules of true ‘fanship?’
richlisola1 nah im not a fanboy but im just pointing out its not a new song
Number 2 was its highest, man. Such a great sight to see.
Mourning 🙏 I love the fact you get CLASSIC Freddy
The fact that Freddie gives you joy from just watching him is the most beautiful feeling ever
As if he is talking to us from beyond. How relevant is this song to what is happening today? The timing of this is God like. And Freddie, omg Freddie. I'll leave it at that because to use man made words to describe that voice...just not enough.

Besides everything else, he interprets lyrics so beautiful. Kind of like a skilled actor.
I think that every day brother. There never has been nor will there ever be anyone close to Freddy mercury

I agree - As beautiful and wonderful as it is to see Freddie again, it just makes me ache to have him back in this world.
Just plain GOAT. Been a fan since the 70s and Freddie is hands down the greatest there will ever be.
I only recently learned that "GOAT" was a positive term for musicians (and others?) - I'm so freakin' OLD :)
He truly was an awesome amazing gifted singer! His voice is what calms me down when I am worked up and he is better then any medicine. Love Freddie’s voice he had no idea how loved he was and how loved he still is. 🥰🥰🥰
His vose just hits your SOUL 👍
Freddie LIVES ❤️
Beautiful!! Some of his best vocals EVER! Not over produced, just simplified!
I had goosebumps from the very first sound that Freddie made ...
Ah Freddie! What can I say that hasn’t already been said? The immortal Freddie at his finest! My generation was truly blessed to have had him in our lives, just wish it had been for far, far longer!

Wonderful comment. 👍
Never heard this song before. It's beautiful sung by Freddie.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much Lamar. I didn't know this existed. I thought I'd never hear a new song from Fred and it absolutely gave me chills.
You have to react to one year of love. His vocals in that song are incredibles
What a beautiful song that goes straight to the heart and soul, & digs right to the core. ❤️
That's pretty much my same reaction when I watch anything by Freddie
He was so theatrical... putting his ALL into everything! You can just FEEL the passion he had for every note he sang! Such a tragic loss to this world; even today. His music, love and passion will live on FOREVER ♥️
Totally with you on this...Freddie gives me Goosebumps like no other...I have loved this voice, this man, since the beginning of Queen!!! Freddie is simply the BEST !

That's the power of freddie mercury..we truly lost a legend in 1991
2 years to the 30th necro-anniversary.
Sad not to have more from him... but never lost... he will be remembered forever... especially by those of us who were privileged to see and meet him :)

We didn’t lost a legend,
We lost a god...

Love love love this song and the man. I was around when he was alive and I did not appreciate him then with raising a family and all. ☹️
Makes me wish he was still around, just imagine the greatness, he could have continued to grace us with.❤️❤️❤️
Yep I miss him and I wish he was still here. What a great talent lost. Goosebumps everytime I hear him sing
Love this song
Freddie released Time in 1986. This is the same song, just with a new title and is only piano and Freddie. I loved it back then and it's nice people think it's new I guess. His voice will always be my favorite.💖
