Freddie Mercury is my favorite artist vocalist pianist stage performer songwriter harmonizer… There’s something very special about has voice, love his music style and his presence so mesmerizing. He is also a very kind person. I love listening to all his music, except the ones later showing him began to lose weight and signs of deterioration, they make me feel very sad. You sound so sincere and I do appreciate you reacting to Freddie’s music.
Thank you for watching and commenting! I appreciate it. I was almost obsessed with Queen when they first came out - and continue to love the recordings with Freddie. (Nothing against those after Freddie but I've never listened to them.) I'll be doing more Queen and Freddie Mercury reactions. 🙂
I’d be happy to see Queens early stuff, actually all of their discography. I love Freddie, he was brilliant across so many genres and such a beautiful man 👑
By the way these vocals were from the very first time he recorded this song. Dave Clark the composer said every time Freddie recorded it in the studio he gave a full out performance and it was a dream to work with him. This is definitely a tour de force performance by Freddie.
Jusr Freddie and a piano beautiful i love you take my breath away live at Hyde park just him and piano simply chilling and stunning. Love both studio versions aswell. Great reaction 👏😊
This is one of my favourites - this, in my Defence, Who wants to live forever, A winters tale and Is this the world we created. Of course I love so many with Freddie. Just something impactful about how he touches even just the listener and in concert nobody has ever surpassed him . Of course Roger Brian and John need to be recognised as the most amazing musicians and phenomenal contributors to Queen. I am sure I will be forgiven for saying that Freddie was uniquely different and charismatic that made the band stand out and has left a legacy that is pretty well unsurpassed (again Brian and Roger and Jim Beach (“Miami”) need a shout out for keeping this in the public eye for so many years after Fred’s death. Can’t believe it’s 33 years ago!! Can’t believe it’s almost 40 years since Live Aid!! As he said Time Waits for No one!
@@JaneRtn Freddie was definitely one of a kind - and amazing. As you say, all the Queen members are phenomenal. Time flies becomes more and more true as one gets older. To think we are aiming for the end of another year! Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. 🙂

This was unbelievably good. I like the song. Brad sent me both links last week also Emily's. I like both versions. I've always loved Queen and Freddies great voice. 😊👍
@@wilmagrevenmulder6225 I just found this review this morning. I never got a notification that he posted it, and just happened to stumble across it looking for something else.😂
There is a stellar interview Freddie and Dave Clark made while this taping was underway. [Dave was the drummer with The Dave Clark Five & put the original production together with Freddie and others recording/ showcasing some songs] The piano was re-recorded by the original artist for the restored video. Previously it was done with multiple layers and a gospel choir. But Dave recalled how incredible it was with just Freddie and the piano and following his death just felt it deserved to be seen.
Thank you for watching and commenting! I did listen to a recording of an interview with Dave Clark. Brad sent it to me, but I'm not sure if that's the one you mean. (That's where I got the info about them looking for the original track.) I should put a link in the description come to think of it. Have a great day! 🙂
Wow, I didn’t see a notification that you did this. Yes, basically Dave Clark had packed away all the stuff from the production he was working on back in the 80’s and then found this raw footage of Freddie with just the piano in 2019, and it got released almost 30 years after Freddie died. It was amazing at the time, just like the new Beatles song coming out decades after John was murdered. It’s a blessing for true fans when something like this happens. Like a gift from the gods. (I know your feelings Ron, hence why I used the plural with the small g.😊)
Hi Brad! This is an awesome recording. No worries on the gods. I love mythology and use terms colloquially all the time (soul, God, god, gods, angel, etc.) - lol. 🙂
Face it Alone was another queen song sitting on the shelf for thirty years. Thought unsalvalvagle. But they did. their magic and released it just two years ago.
…People who don’t “get” Freddie, have probably only heard Queen’s radio hits/they’ve never taken the time to investigate Queen’s so-called Deep Cuts; they’re probably not even aware that he wrote/recorded an album of OPERA; and I’d wager a bet they’ve never watched any of his live performances.😉 (I’d also bet there’s a good chance said “Freddie doubters” are from the U.S, since - SADLY - Queen (ie Freddie) essentially burned bridges with American audiences after the 1984 fiasco of MTV banning Queen’s “I Want To Break Free” music video… so Queen/Freddie just don’t have the familiarity in the U.S. that they do else where.)🖖
Love Freddie ….💕. You must react to more Queen….. as you know there is so very much more. Queen songs are almost always better when performed live on stage than the studio versions . Could you please react to “Somebody to Love “ live Montreal 1981….. also the Queen 20 minute portion of the Live Aid 1985 concert . I enjoyed your reaction…Thank You.
THANK YOU for this! I subscribed, for Queen & Freddie🫶 SUGGESTION: “FACE IT ALONE” Official LYRIC video This was released just a couple years ago; in its first week out, it went to Number 1 in 21 countries! (There’s also an official music video, but I just think the animated lyric video is better) The song was one of several unfinished tracks (Brian said there were 30 unfinished songs!) that were part of Queen’s 1989 recording sessions. Freddie’s vocals in this, were actually “buried” in the recording from a rough jam session… so it wasn’t even to the point of being a demo. When the track was rediscovered, Freddie’s vocals here were so amazing… some tech geniuses were able to extract his vocals, so this song could be completed. ALSO: “LET ME IN YOUR HEART AGAIN” Official music video …This was released in 2012, so you might not have heard it? (It’s one of my FAVORITES!) The song had been an unfinished demo from Queen’s 1984 recording sessions.
This is not a Queen song. Freddie’s friend Dave Clark (of Dave Clark 5) asked him to be involved in his musical “Time” . Freddie recorded 2 songs, Time Waits for No One and In My Defense. The original version of Time has a gospel like chorus. I prefer this stripped down version, that Dave found years later. You should also check out In My Defense.
True - that's why I listed it as Freddie Mercury. I put a link to the Dave Clark interview in the description as well for those who are interested. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. 🙂
So sad so sad people react to versions after his death and not the originals like i was born to love you which are the REAL version HIS Songs and so much better 😢😢😢
This is the original!! Dave Clark had to go on a lengthy search to find the original track with just Freddie and the piano. Listen to the interview (I've put the link in the description) of Dave talking about it. Also, this was not released until well after his death, so nobody could have reacted to it! All reactions to Freddie or Queen with Freddie are now after his death anyway - they are ALL recordings from the past. 🙂 (The songs you are calling "original" are the produced versions, and they are awesome as well. As I said, I loved Queen when they first came out and listened to them all the time on my albums. I would argue that this track is far more "original" than the ones with all the other members, instrumentation, and production.)
@@rjjsreactions-rk7zh Good Day thank you for your explanation.i believe it was released longer after is death because i know this version only for few years. I think that it was released for making a softer version because most of people hate arrangements Eighties 😔 i prefer the popular version so far with the choirs which makes me cry. I despite the nineties version of IWBTLY and tired to see people react to because it's writing " official version" but it's not !
