Been on the quest for something close to Fortaleza ever since it's been out of stock everywhere. Could only get the Terralta reposado. I am very pleased with this Tequila. The mouthfeel is very nice and the smoothness is right where I like it. Earthy and delicioso. I'm a fan of Hacienda de Chihuahua Rustico Sotol too. Cascahuin y Arte Nom are up among the best in my experiences. Glad to find this channel. You're right. Terralta es peligroso. In an exceptional way. Keep it up guy. I'm definitely following your channel now. 15:27
The bottles used for Terralta are the same bottles used for G4. The Terralta brand came about because Felipe Camarena had to use deep well water to produce tequila. G4 is made from a 50/50 blend of rain water and spring water. Of course the drawback to using rain water is that it’s going to run out as the seasons change and the dry seasons come. Therefore the El Pandillo distillery has to use other water sources to keep production going. But the change of water also changes the flavor profile, so they realized that they couldn’t sell the deep well water tequila under the G4 brand because of the difference in flavor. So the solution was to rebrand it and keep selling it. I love both brands.
@@AgaveTalk yes. El Pandillo also produces Volans, Primo, Don Vicente, JH El Torito, and ArteNom 1579. I recently tried the Terralta 5-year Extra Añejo, and it was the first Extra Añejo that I actually liked. It was very agave-forward and the oak wasn’t overpowering. Probably because they use older barrels. If you can find that one I highly recommend it.

Quality video. I’ve only had the Terralta Blanco. At first I was put off by the extreme earthiness and minerality but I got used to it and now enjoy it. How about a Fortaleza vertical fight?
We loved the earthiness and mineral tastes due to the deep well water they use. We can do a Fortaleza vertical flight for sure one day. If you want to buy us all the bottles to make it happen sooner than later, we are all for that! 😄😉🥂

Love this share, thank you! G4 and Terralta, can't go wrong with either.

I actually like the blanco from Terralta more than the g4 and Pasote
All three are great choices! When we want a more earthy taste, we definitely reach for Terralta. Thanks for sharing!
